Connecte to HDMI when actually not

I had to use the Fastboot files to restore my phone, it worked just fine. But now a notification is popping up saying that I am connected to the HDMI and to select either: Gallery, Music, or Mirror display. Tried searching for solution, everybody has been saying that they exchanged the device. Any solutions?

[Q] Webtop Not Working After ICS update?

Both my wife and I have a Razr Maxx. I was part of the soak and got ICS she does not have it yet. Both are not rooted. Went to test out the new webtop software yesterday and all I got was a black screen. Tried her phone with old webtop version using same TV, dock and hdmi cable and worked perfectly. Anyone else have this issue. I have the HDMI box checked.
I using ICS Webtop on Atrix Lapdock, working OK. You can run Webtop even with HDMI cable connected to RAZR.
If you connect RAZR to your TV with HDMI cable do you have popup with options? Webtop should be on the list.
Webtop is working great for me too
The menu shows up when I place in the dock. The HDMI mirror only works for a split second and then goes black as well. Strange.
restore factory default settings and try again
im using a modded bionic doc and it works just fine for me. try turning the screen on and unlocking first and then connect it to whatever you want to connect it to.

MXQ S85 Crashing TV

I'm new to Android TV boxes i recently bought a MXQ S85 But it keeps turning my TV off when watching it. It's as if the TV has crashed, normally when the TV is switched off there will be a little led which tells you it in standby this doesn't come on. The only way to get the TV back on is turn turn the Android box off. I can't change sources turn the volume up or change the channel. I've tired loads of different things but nothing seems to work.
What I've tried.
3 x HDMI Leads
4 x HDMI Ports
2 x MXQ S85 boxes
removing batteries from MXQ S85 remote control
Disable HDMI CEC
AV cable which come with MXQ S85
Changing the resolution and the refresh rates
I have tried a different TV and the MXQ S85 works fine with no problems. Has anyone got any ideas of what it might be?

TV shows "chromecast..." on first time setup at the bottom of the screen

I bought a Chromecast device. When I tried to setup it, it showed "chromecast..." at the bottom of the screen and after about 3-5 seconds it goes back to the No Signal screen. The Chromecast is connected to a MINI HDMI2AV Adapter that is connected to the RCA port on my TV. Is there a way to fix it?

Hello, I have the same problem with my chromecast, the word chromacast appears and then without signal, you fix it?

Chromecast not working at all

So, today I bought a Chromecast (2. Gen). At home, I connected it to my TV (Sony Bravia KDL 40EX727) and tried to set up - but without success. All I got was a black screen (nothing appeared at all). At the Chromecast itself, directly after plugging ac power, the status led turns constant organge for about 0.5 sec and then switches to constant white. And that's it.
I started to research and found some points I struggle about:
- Some users reported unresolved issues with Sony TVs. Can I find a list of supported devices somewhere?
- I tried to reset my Chromecast. I followed the instructions (push the reset button while HDMI is plugged in the TV). Actually, nothing happened. The LED keeps on illuminating constantly white (still not blinking). Google's instructions tell me, that it should turn orange (blinking) and after the successfull reset it should return to a white color. So as you see, nothing at all happens.
- I tried all HDMI ports - no difference
- I tried different USB cables and powering it from USB and from AC - no difference
- I tried turning it on without beeing connected and with beeing connected - no difference.
What else to do?
- tomorrow, I will take it to work and connect it the HDMI port and my computers display (unfortunately, I have no second screen with HDMI at home, neither an adapter from DVI to HDMI or something similar..)
Do you have any hints for? Or is my device just broken?
Thanks in advance!
Problem solved: Device was defective. I exchanged it in the store where I bought it for a different one: works like a charm.
