S18 S19 RemiX EUI RUSSA + ChInA UmbreLLaCorpS Vol.1 - LeEco Le Max 2 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other

Thank you for this new rom ParasiTe_RemiX ! https://mega.nz/#!f14VFBjL!YcFjjLj6NgmfjjPmzPRELxVDQyzMmWSCgeNrgSAB8oA I got this from htcmania website. I can't read spanish one bit so how is the stability of this rom? Is everything working, ie.. fingerprints, IR, camera, and camera2api compatible?
What is added, and what is removed in this rom besides the chinese apps? How is the battery life on this as well compared to the stock 19s?

should I have twrp recovery ?

all rom installation requires root plus twrp

I've been using it for a past few days. No problems detected. Fingerprint sensor, camera api 2, magnetic cover, smart lock, all working. Did not test IR beyond opening the app, it should work though, it is stock ROM. Otherwise it looks like a generic, clean EUI (no trace of Leeco apps). Dolby Atmos also there.

very good rom very stable no bugs for now, great job pending for source code release!!!

Very nice, saves me the effort of getting rid of all the Chinese junk and means can actually use the stock eui launcher because the useless live button is removed from the dock. Otherwise it is basically stock 19S, so very stable and nice. I see ParasiTe's 19S based CM13 is also released, so will have to give that a try too and decide which to use, but think it will probably end up being this one for me.

Apn slow motion is ok on it

I concur. Very stable.

The battery life seems to be good and above 144000 with antutu very smooth and no lag

how did you got that's result i only got 116000.. i have 4gb version. idont think 2 gb of ram make the difference

Hii,
I used this rom and it's great
Smooth
Good battery life
Minimal system apps (absolutely love that)
I just dirty flashed the latest 19s Indian rom released a few days back (fixes the fingerprint issues)
Can you tell which apps and services are safe to remove from the rom and how to remove that annoying live icon so that this rom becomes a bit like the parasite remix rom
Thank you

Exactly same situation for me - this has been the best ROM for me so far, but I flashed the stock Indian 19S mainly because it has the October security patch. Would really like to know how to get rid of the live icon.

I don't know how exactly
But I think we can extract the launcher apk from remix and install on 19s

I am back to using this ROM again after dropping MoKee due to the video focus bug. Still my favourite eui ROM - like the simple white android boot animation, the Coolpad like eui launcher (i.e. no middle Live button) and the fact that it has now on tap. Smoother than the Indian 19S, doesn't have the bugs of the Chinese 20S and Dev. Shame it only has the September security patch.

[ROM][4.4.2] bugless AOSP by Maucat (30.05.2015 version)

This is not my rom.
This is Maucat's rom and i only made a thread for it because its probably the only 100% bugless, fully working + optimized rom for our phone. (Coolpad F1.Micromax A310 is a re-brand for India markets, but both phones along with Himax Polymer are 100% identical and their roms are working in any of the three)
If Maucat has a problem with sharing his rom on this forum i will have it deleted.
The rom is completely unmodified and untouched from my side, its all Maucat's work
- Multilanguage
- Bugless, everything is working (I'm testing it for 4 days and found no bug)
- Optimized
- Play store and Google Services are included
- 7 color leds (flash this without wipes, without this the rom has only red green and blue leds) --> https://mega.co.nz/#!D1EmCKCJ!m-IQNhYP_MPF9sh23_R4BA_aVs1_TKMWmOj7gG2TZfs)
- No screenshots, its an AOSP rom.Just google ''aosp kitkat UI'' and you will see how it looks.

Auto Rotation and MTP mode not working
@korekore1 It is not a bugless rom.
I tried it yesterday and found two major issues.
1. Auto rotation is not working (as in all CoolPad roms).
2. When I connect my device to my computer via USB, it is not getting connected, it asks to turn on USB storage, but even after turning on, I am not able to browse any files.
These issues makes the rom non-usable.
I don't know how are you using it for past so many months (as you mentioned).
I guess you don't rotate your device and connects it to pc...

Performed flashing using Philz recovery..
I don't think using Philz recovery is the issue, as almost every rom for A310 works from flashing it with Philz,
And since it is a Coolpad rom, sensor issue is obvious. I don't know how come you are not facing the above mentioned issues.
Can any other user please confirm, if I am doomed,,,,

Ohh bro, then I guess you are unaware of Javed's latest MIUI 5.9.1
I am using it since the day it was released... and it is the most complete rom for A310...
No bluetooth issues... no lag issues... RAM management is perfect... I get 1.4 GB of free RAM; in MIUI its a pretty decent score..
Only, there is an APN force close issue..which also is fixed by a patch provided by me (basically, its Settings.apk from a previous version of miui, and its working fine).
So, I guess, you need to move on...

miui used to be good as a rom but now its a lot more limited in features than it was in the past.
You can do a whole lot more with an aosp and xposed modules.Plus miui is always slower than aosp roms and more battery hungry.
And that isn't going to change soon with that heavy android skin

Can you elaborate "a lot more limited features"...??
I find AOSP having limited features.. And as far as battery hunger is concerned, I used to get 3-4 hrs SOT in aosp; in MIUI, i get 3.5+ hrs SOT. Didn't notice much difference.
Also, using xposed modules will eat up RAM as well. That's why I mentioned that 1.4GB free RAM is pretty decent for MIUI.
Guys when are u giving mauckat lp rom

aosp is android's skeleton.Miui takes this and adds a different UI and also some extra features.
The same thing xposed framework does.
You won't get more features with aosp. You add the features you want with xposed modules. You have complete control this way.
With miui what you get is what you'll have. With aosp and xposed you can get any feature any custom rom ever had, that is something that makes miui limited
Its not 2012,its 2015,xposed framework changed the game completely.
And no,xposed modules don't eat up memory and battery like miui does.Plus you can uninstall the module you don't like, something you can't do with miui.
As i said miui used to be an interesting rom before the xposed framework era.Now its a limited, slow, battery and memory hungry rom with lots of incompatible apps and features like UI customization,LBE security and many xposed modules not working (if you ever get xposed framework/wsm tools to work with miui). Miui camera is also worse than aosp's.
I used to be a miui guy and i also love Xiaomi products, but things change, even Huawei's EmUI is way better than Miui these days.

The rom is very stable and tested by at least 7 people extensively before it is released. Everything works all modules.
I see battery% fixed in the change log. Does that mean it won't drop from 30% to 14 now? Also will it work out of the box on 8gb device or should I fix the memory partition again?
Tried the rom. Found a bug near the sound enhancement menu. Some random numbers mentioned there next to a check box.

Everything works perfect. No issues.
It slowed down a lot on boot after turning on xposed framework and starting a module. That happened on MIUI too until I was able to install a different version of WMS tool. How do I make this one stable?

It is typical because everything passes through xposed or a process called "zygote" but that should only affect the restart time and not the actual using performance
There is still a battery life issue. It dropped from 67% to 40% on a reboot

Have you tested the rom?
Tested a bit, looks really great! (Installed the jan02 rom and after the fingerprint fix)
Use the stock Google camera and working good, taking pictures (sometimes out of flash, but avarage good), recording video in 4k without problem.
When make a call the phone go to "do not disturb", after the call get back to normal.
In the rom have minimal usefully options to mod, by the way we have a very good and simple AOSP experience.
Only used 30 minutes, but the battery only fall 3% (I know, no syncing a lot of apps, only installed and checked a few, but it's good)
Don't test the vulcan api, because don't install gapps, just only some apps for testing.
So thanks, I think this rom on my top 3!
Its in testing from what I can see.
I was using it all day yesterday and I must say its amazing. No cam or flashlight issue.
I had a 3-4 random reboots though. Hope that gets fixed soon.
Here are some screenshots
Tested it. Have to say its a great rom, probably the best for me! Goodix fp is working without any patches. Camera and flashlight work, but still buggy same like other nougat roms.
Not sure whether vulkan api is working.

Share a nice ROM, which is based on EUI

Because LeEco official EUI did not upgrade android:laugh: 7.1 so, third-party native system have abnormal heat situation, and can not install Xpoed, so I recommend a ROM here.ROM:http://www.flyme.cn/firmwarelist-112.html#18

Downloading latest version and make a test, did you know if it multi language?
Rom is fast, simple and clean, nothing eye kandy, its based on 21S or 20S. maybe they make a version based on 23S.
Found a Bug or its just me, when try to copy from the internal memory to PC the phone reboots.

Heyyo, tbh I'd avoid custom EUI ROMs as at least some seem to be causing the camera autofocus issues for any non-EUI ROM. It definitely seems from other posts that cuco92's EUI ROM is one of them.
I'd recommend Andr68rus's builds of Dark Unicorns or OmniROM. They're stable and work fantastic and are on latest Nougat where-as EUI based ROMs are stuck on Marshmallow.
For Marshmallow ROMs? AOKP MM by Andr68rus is really good or Mokee ROM 60.1 Historical probably has the best battery life without constantly wiping your recent apps like where-as EUI overkills.

Hey mate, when you call heat is overheating?? I sense it too.
The rom goes extreeeemly smooth and with a lot of battery time, good sound etc. I've installed it through twrp along with gapps. I sense a lot of extra screen brightness coming from eui in a x820 and I want to know from you how to replace the twrp recovery eith the meizu one for doing the updates.
Thanks!!!!!

If you want app drawer for the launcher you can get launcher3.apk from other Tora33 rom (Le Pro3 rom) and replace it in the rom zip file (unzip and re-zip).
Launcher3.apk (with drawer): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0K...ew?usp=sharing
Nice!!! is nice to see roms for this device other than the ones that are here.
For the OP, i'm on the second day of use of this rom and this is BY FAR the best rom i've tried. The phone does not overheat, even with the screen at 100% all the time, best battery life, smooth as hell like Lineage 13 and goes well with nova launcher. The defaukt launcher is **** for me but you can change it for the one thay you like.
I will backup this rom and try the above,
I'm trying to know how can we install the original meizu recovery or how can we update the phone from OTA with 40 mb packages instead the 1.4 GB that comes daily ivee the air.

Best rom for stability and most vanilla android experience

For ages I have tried to avoid rooting my phone, mainly due to Google Pay. But with the constant issues and also now that I've just purchased bPay for my watch anyway, I no longer need Google Pay.
Even though my phone is not rooted, most apps thought it was.. so even the fixes only worked so far.. so screw it. haha.
I would like to root my phone and try and make my Xiaomi as close to vanilla Android as possible. What roms would people suggest?
Is the Xiaomi a wise phone to modify? Will I loose any features (camera etc)?
I have only really ever used OnePlus One devices, and other phones I have always relied on Google Pay access, so its been awhile since I rooted a phone and I have a feeling things may have changed a fair bit.. maybe even become more simple?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
My device; Mi 8 128GB, chinese import. Arrived with unlocked bootloader and global rom.. somehow.. even though global wasnt available at the time.. have since has xiaomi.eu rom, most recent on the device. But im finding its waaay to buggy and im very eager to get rid of this.
try pixel experience
stock experience like the pixel 3 xl
almost the same camera if not better
great battery life stable and way smoother than miui 10
I was In a similar predicament
I went for havoc and find its fantastic
Similar to pixel experience but with more added features
Has gcam implemented already

pixel experience rom has everything that a pixel phone has including the amazing gcam
Use syberia! aosp based like all but best battery so far
You can try pixel experience, I'm using it for a while now and never thought of changing to another rom. This will be my permanent rom I guess. Pixel3ROM is also nice, but it's just a port so the dev heavily refuses to add compatibility features like IR camera support for face unlock etc. So main features of the device won't work kn that one.
LineageOS is just another option, but it feels so empty compared to Pixel Experience. Yes, it can be customized but it'll never get the capabilities of Pixel Experience, due to official Rom policies of LOS.
And another thing, my device is rooted and I'm using PE, and Google Pay is working.

About camera, it hss a Google Camera port that I can't really remember the name of dev, and you can flash the miui camera port from Magisk if you need that either.
If you have any questions about this rom, I'd love to answer them, I can consider myself as an experienced user of it I guess. I used miui for 2 weeks thanks to bootloader unlock timer, and believe me, when you switch, you will feel like tons of weight just pulled out of your shoulders.
Thanks everyone this is all really helpful to know. Sounds like Pixel Experience is the one to try first.

This is really handy to know. I was thinking today that maybe rooting etc my phone myself properly would give me better control over getting that set up to work properly.
One more thing, just checking over the instructions and a little lost on some bits;
Flash Instructions
1. Download ROM zip.
2 . Advanced Wipe: System, Data, Cache and Dalvik/cache - Already have TWRP from installing Xiaomi.eu rom.
3. Flash latest MIUI or Xiaomi.eu beta. - This step confuses me.. if I already have a xiaomi.eu rom installed, I presume I would skip this?
4. Flash Pixel Experience.
5. Flash Dm-verity and reboot into TWRP (Only if you're coming from MIUI stock. Skip that if you're coming from another custom ROM) - Guessing again, I would skip this as I am already on TWRP? Unsure what dm-verity is..
6. Advanced Wipe: Data
7. Reboot & enjoy.
Some background on the current config phone wise. Imported a Mi 8 before it was released globally, nor even a date was released at that point. The phone arrived with global rom I believe.. the bootloader was already unlocked however and it was in English, so I am unsure how they had the global rom on it.. unless was the chinese one in English? Eitherway. I just followed the usual guide to flashing Xiaomi.eu on the phone. TWRP was already on it, but it is a chinese version, in english, but with chinese text on the loading screen.. unsure if normal?
Thanks again!

You can't skip the 3rd step since you're wiping the system partition, vendor and/or firmware files will be gone, which are not included with the rom.
At 5th, https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/universal-dm-verity-forceencrypt-t3817389 After flashing this, reboot to recovery in order to do advanced wipe. Just follow the steps, don't be lazy!
Not sure about your phone, but there are a high chance of being a Chinese variant of your phone, check the rear glass for CE certificate logo, if there are any chinese text, your phone is a chinese variant. In this situation, be careful to not lock your bootloader.

Thanks this is really helpful.
When I got the phone there was a sticker on the back which was in Chinese, all the packaging was too. The text printed on the phones actual case is in English however.
Update: All done and all was a success. Thanks everyone!
Tried Pixel Experience - battery drain was so extreme had to flash another rom..
So now trying Havoc.. way too many bugs, no sound on alarms, phone stops responding to touch.. ergh. Battery is good though.. haha.
Looking like there may not be any rom which isnt free of bugs or battery drain on the Mi 8..
Sadly Google Pay, with Magisk and hide, does not work on any rom. Altho I managed to get another banking app to work by using Magisk hide ironically.

Yes, all great. Battery is fine, alarm works, no more freezing. Finally all running smoothly
+1 that. Everything works perfect for me on AOSIP and I've been using it as my daily driver for a week now.
I just replaced the default phone, contact and messaging apps with the Google ones with App systemizer and magisk, and replaced the stock cam with latest Gcam.
Recommend this rom :good:
