This Recovery should only be used for flashing when you are on New Bootloader
This recovery MUST NOT be used to flash a ROM that is based on old bootloader
Using this recovery, you may break the OTA. So it is advised that you should not flash OTA with this. Rather, Download OTA zip and then flash (Only if you know what you are doing)

Q. I am on OOS 2.x/CM/AOSP based ROM, How do I use this?
A: Just Upgrade to OOS 3.x based ROM from TWRP. Then Flash this.
Q. Why Do I use this if i can just flash everything I need while updating to OOS 3.x ?
A: Well, There can be change of minds/plans. Also, OnePlus is close to releasing their sources for MM kernels. I saw no recovery to deal with custom kernels so I built it.

- it can not be use to flash custom Roms like CM, AOSP, RR.....

Yep. Only for OOS 3.x and based ROMs. cannot be used to flash other ROMs. for that, use Official TWRP thats HERE

Blu spark is to be used for flashing OOS 2.x/CM/AOSP/CAF based ROMs.
But this recovery is to be used to flash OOS 3.x based ROMs.
We are supposed to flash this when we are on OOS3 and not before, right?

I tried this one to flash H2OS 2.0 (MM) and get an error message said that my phone is ONE, and the H2OS zip file is for E1001. Then I tried bluspark twrp 3.0.2.0-2 v41 and I was able to flash the zip.

Nice effort!
Found 2 issues though:
- double tap 2 wake doesn't work
- problems installing H2OS MM (error 7, this package is for bla..bla..) >> edit: same issue as previous post
Both are working in eng.stk version.

Probably you flashed something sketchy or in a wrong/unintended way, nevertheless, I will look into it.

I've flashed via TWRP and via Flashify, Rashr.... always selecting recovery image.
Edit: I think I find why it wouldn't boot. I haven't seen but I was on bluspark twrp.
I flash your previous twrp version, rebbot to recovery and flash last version and it works now.

Install instructions:
first time
- power off the phone:
- hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blu led)
- fastboot flash boot boot.img (from rom zip)

- enter recovery, on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+
- flash rom zip
- flash gapps zip
- wipe
- reboot
for update just flash rom zip from recovery
Google Apps are not included in this ROM. You'll need to find those yourself if you want them.

Just have a question here. I installed the first build but there were problems with black screen of death during heavy usage. So i want to ask if the problem is still present in newer build?
Also when i have it installed i noticed that this SoD occur not only when using heavy apps but also when the phone heat up a little, so is there a possibility that the new experimental kernel has some kind of temperature protection that is set too low or possibly broken?

You can flash LOS which is given in the link. But you can also install other GSI images of A partition.

My understanding is that the GSIs work on Potter, but the lineage zip has a boot image and other stuff that needs to be flashed first in order to use /oem as the "vendor" partition for the GSIs. Once that image is flashed, the GSIs should work as normal. (anyone with more knowledge, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

I think you're wrong there
My phone is encrypted. I use Vasishath's twrp and can browse/modify the filesystem when in twrp.
There is a 15seconds touch freeze. Other than that i don't find any bugs. Thanks mate.

Lol! Did you even try the TWRP made by Vasishath? That twrp decrypts your device every time you boot into it. I have been using that TWRP since the beginning and never had to flash the DFE crap.

Redownload the zip and use the latest Treble TWRP. Most likely you have a corrupted zip or you're using the wrong TWRP. It flashed fine here.

ARM64 A-only. If a GSI doesn't boot get logs, or else I cannot and will not help boot it. I also do not support Erfan's ported GSIs as of right now.

Thanks for the pointer. It was corrupt download file. Re-download file is flashing fine.
But on boot it's asking for password. I have never set any boot time password. Anyway to fix that?

Hi, Just like a normal rom. Later on you can switch to RR GSI - A if you want to but thats totally optional.
New build. If someone can test the ArrowOS GSI, I'd appreciate it.
Edit: It boots. I'm assuming AOSiP does as well.

Thanks for the bugs list. VoLTE is a known bug, same with the internal problem. See if the latest build fixes the internal error.
Mirrors have been updated. If you're coming from an older build than today's, please clean flash.
Hi, Bug is written as: VoLTE (doesn't persist over reboot).
But for me it never worked, even initially on a clean flash. It's completely offline since flash.

Huh. I'll update that
After i installed Gsi (Resurrection Remix), i installed gapps and i was not paying much attention but i had seen an error message in twrp "error 20", then i try boot in system and my moto g5s was stuck 10 minutes in unlocked bootloader advise and not show any progress. After this, i reinstalled Lineage OS Project Treble when boot to system show an message like "enter your password" but i dont have this password, so i flashed stock rom in twrp and now everything its okay. Sorry bad english im just sharing my experience, i think i made a mistake.

You must format data when the password prompt appears.
V2 released. Look at OP for changelog.
MIUI added to list of GSIs that boot.

I also had this problem "error 20", i cant install gapps in gsi's, i tested nano and pico (arm64 9.0)
LATEST TWRP FOR ONEPLUS 2, PORTED FROM NEXUS 6P.
WORKS WELL WITH ANDROID 11.
Latest VS Official 3.2:
Official TWRP 3.2 is built with OnePlus 2 by TWRP official and should be stable.
This unofficial TWRP 3.5.2 is ported from Nexus 6P's official one. The newer version means better support to new ROMs, especially Android 11 and higher. But please notice I can't promise that it is stable and everything works properly.
Installation:
Boot your phone into fastboot, connect it to your computer (or any other device that could run fastboot commands), make sure the driver is installed correctly.

fastboot flash recovery PATH/FILENAME.img
# For booting into TWRP temporarily
fastboot boot PATH/FILENAME.img

I unpacked it and replaced kernel.gz, recovery.fstab (in /initrd/etc/) and keys (in /initrd/res) and modified some values in /initrd/default.prop
