:laugh:Hello Sir.thanks for opening up a thread for us I have this installed on my Ultra I used the fastboot way to install can I install update zips over this fastboot install using my TWRP recovery or do I have to install the aosp recovery from the ROM zip first do you get randomly reboots on this I'm on the 9-06-2016 build

How can I root this?
Flashing the latest SuperSU (0901) results in hanging at the SONY logo, requiring me to reflash System in order to get the phone to boot.

Yes, downloaded from the official supersu thread.

Just have a question here. I installed the first build but there were problems with black screen of death during heavy usage. So i want to ask if the problem is still present in newer build?
Also when i have it installed i noticed that this SoD occur not only when using heavy apps but also when the phone heat up a little, so is there a possibility that the new experimental kernel has some kind of temperature protection that is set too low or possibly broken?

Awesome, another android lollipop rom, thanks a bunch. Is there a list of working/non-working things?
Having hard time to install custom recoveries. Sideload isn't working for me via Cynogen Recovery. Renaming the zip to update.zip and apply update from sdcard1 via Cynogen Recovery does nothing or no access to sdcard1. So far there's no network signal with my c6802 and i don't see camera app. Have not install gapps as i couldn't flash any zip in Cynogen Recovery. Wifi and everything else is working perfectly though. Any ideas on the recoveries?

The network signal is probably the same problem with the rest of the CM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56071149&postcount=4 This was my fix for CM11 and it work for CM12 for those who are not getting network signal or no imei.

MiUI V2 Same like CM Build 20150712
always reboot when screen lock :crying:
Hello, first of all, thank you for porting MIUI on our smartphone!
I flashed last firmware, and she's working fine, but i cant use Russian language because stock font is so terrible.
But, the main problem: is no apps at root permission access screen (It's clear, only one inscription: "No apps have root access.").
I'm trying to install Titanium Backup, and give him root access, but can't do this. And I cant use sided theme/font on "Theme" app, because i cant give root permission to WSM tools. =)
It's my mistake, or shortcoming of the current version?
Seeing that people are having problems, I will test the ROM after backing up my current ROM and attempt to recreate the issue.
Quarx, can you give my some direction in porting philz touch to the padfone s/x?
Just as a side note. Make sure to unplug your device before you reboot your phone. Sometimes being plugged in causes the phone to either freeze or boot into fastboot mode.
I installed without incident.
My steps:
I already had BL unlocked and TWRP installed. I have had trouble with CMRecovery and CWM in the past on this device, so I use TWRP.
1. Boot into TWRP.
2. Backup current ROM in case of fail.
2. wipe/factory reset which involves wiping data, system and cache.
3. Install ROM.
4. wipe cache/dalvik
5. Reboot.
6. Profit.

Introduction:
TWRP for OnePlus X (onyx)
Here are a few points to consider:
This Recovery should only be used for flashing when you are on New Bootloader
This recovery MUST NOT be used to flash a ROM that is based on old bootloader
Using this recovery, you may break the OTA. So it is advised that you should not flash OTA with this. Rather, Download OTA zip and then flash (Only if you know what you are doing)

Q. I am on OOS 2.x/CM/AOSP based ROM, How do I use this?
A: Just Upgrade to OOS 3.x based ROM from TWRP. Then Flash this.
Q. Why Do I use this if i can just flash everything I need while updating to OOS 3.x ?
A: Well, There can be change of minds/plans. Also, OnePlus is close to releasing their sources for MM kernels. I saw no recovery to deal with custom kernels so I built it.
Great job
Just to know, what's the difference between this and eng.stk one ?
Yours is compiled from just released sources ?
I think, it could be usefull, as it was clear for a lot of people with BS V41, to add a disclaimer like :
- this is a TWRP to flash and use on OOS 3 only
- it can not be used to flash OOS 3 while you are on OOS2 or a custom ROM CM13, RR....
- it can not be use to flash custom Roms like CM, AOSP, RR.....
Am I right ?

yes, thats because of this
I've flashed via TWRP and via Flashify, Rashr.... always selecting recovery image.
Edit: I think I find why it wouldn't boot. I haven't seen but I was on bluspark twrp.
I flash your previous twrp version, rebbot to recovery and flash last version and it works now.

Basketbuild connection is low maybe if i can help u after download i will upload on my Drive folder for a better connection...10 minutes for finish and i'm on 100mbps
Hello mate. A question does not need a base eg the b052 to install it? Or there is no problem from any other version .. Greetings Happy New Year !!
@haky 86 in my case, i installed it on my 4X (che2-l03, hi6210sft), and it shows the logo (not bootanimation), then restarts itself on recovery/twrp
btw, i was using an P8 Lite rom, so i guess that isn't a problem (ALE-L21C432B568)
I don't know if i can do something more to help

We don't know.
The OP (Haky 86) can't test it because his phone is bricked, he is waiting to get it back from repair. He needs feedback from users.

That's mean it's a selinux issue, I will check cm-14.1 tree configuration and re-upload only boot image.

What do you mean by kernel getting better? Do you more developers are working on the kernel?
Did you implement in the rom the new gpu blobs? i heard somewhere that they released them
Flashing userdata will also wipe internal storage, right? If so, you may advice it, maybe some people don't know

Developers are constantly working on it. The kernel related bugs that remain are getting tackled one by one, so we are getting close to getting stable ROMs. With a final camera blob release from Sony I can see us getting some more support for this device through official LineageOS builds (ex CyanogenMod) and more.
Only Camera is a Con.. Hope we may port Sony stock camera to it.
Hi
Hi, I'm trying to see how this works.

If you have Z3 D6603 with Unlocked Bootloader you can safely flash fast boot images even if you don't have root .... Fast boot works independently of root
