thank you so much, I will try it just now

I am working on the RIL so you all can test this freely and not worry about missing a call or text. I will post the build soon as I get the RIL fixed.

hi
I tested this post on my phone, it constantly closed and opened. I wait your new post

Any chance for International build?

New sprint build
I have Candy c7.1.1 available for download now. Currently uploading my latest build as well and will upload other variants as I get them compiled.

Hi Folks,
I know it's been a while for many of you, but I am reaching out to you here. We had a problem with our file hosting, and lost some data and hard work.
Needless to say, we all are devastated.
I'm asking for someone here to post their most recent download from this thread, so it won't have to be closed.
Thanks for your help,
Dan

New Builds
New builds have been uploaded and links are in my second post. Pretty solid Beta builds but my t6 & t6vzw are untested.
Enjoy!

mine is GSM variant, but it's all fine for other variants with my RR builds,
tested by many users, thanks.
BTW: is signal-strength always and only shows 2 bar for your sprint Candy7 before the commit?

Thanks tarkzim, I do not know what the signal shows as my device is not activated but it currently has all the bars except for the very last one. This is my build without that commit which you linked. I just added it & compiled all new builds so we will find out how goes she.

Was just having having a play around with this rom and I received a call. The person on the end could not hear me.
I only have one device. Will do what i can to help

Here is a log
GSM version
https://pastebin.com/EAWrEyPR

Just loaded t6. So far so good . Thanks

@gimmeitorilltell Not sure if you're still building for this, but I'm willing to test for you. I've flashed it and everything runs buttery smooth, roaming indicator doesn't show at all times now. However, i am not getting any mobile data, no matter the APN settings I've tried. I'm on the Sprint variant!
UPDATE: 1:44 AM I had a random reboot, and when it attempted to reboot, it got stuck in bootloop. Had to wipe Dalvik and Cache for it to boot again.

Testing it out right now Nougat version

KNOWN BUGS
Same as CM and also THIS POST RIGHT HERE - Please also read Post #2 before reporting bugs.
NOTE: ALSO NEEDS TO BE NOTED that yes, apparently Xposed for Lollipop is a thing now. BUT PAY ATTENTION TO THIS PART RIGHT HERE: Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should I ever see a bug report or complaint if you are using Xposed. It is well known that Xposed doesn't always play nicely, and if you are using it and complain about some kind of bug, I will laugh you out of the thread. I hate being crass, but after dealing with so many repeat moronic questions, I felt like I should go ahead and state this now.
Thanks to Tarun Kapadia for providing me the fix for statusbar FC.Cheers buddy!
Special thanks to Lysergic Acid for providing Galaxy SII with the CM12.1 ROM and being open source.
Thank you and enjoy!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why aren't my CM12 themes looking right?
Answer: Theme Chooser is still in its early stages and more and more items are being exposed for theming. So it's possible that some things may not look quite right still when applying a theme. Try going to the default system theme, reboot, apply your CM12 theme, and reboot once more.
Q: When will the next update be out?
Answer: When it's out and the OP is updated. Do not expect nightly builds or even weekly builds. I'm not going to run a build a day when it will make virtually nothing different. When I update, there will be good reason and timing for it. So please, don't ask.
Q: Can I use a custom kernel with this ROM?
Answer: You may run other kernels instead. HOWEVER, please pay attention to the troubleshooting section below concerning kernel use.
Q: Can you add [insert feature here]?
Answer: We are always open to feature suggestions. HOWEVER: Keep in mind that feature you have come to love in previous iterations of Android may not be ported forward for use in Lollipop yet. If you see a feature you want, and can point to somewhere that it's being used in a Lollipop rom, then we can definitely look into it. Otherwise, patience young grasshopper.
TROUBLESHOOTING
This ROM is still in the early stages of development, so you can expect some bugs to pop up here and there. Here are some guidelines to remember when reporting bugs to this thread. Please read carefully.
**Before reporting a bug, be sure you have tried the following:
1) If you dirty flashed, go back and clean flash first.
2) If you are running a custom kernel, flash the CM12.1 kernel from the and see if that solves your issues.
3) If the issue seems app related, uninstall the app and reinstall from the PlayStore. I won't give any help if your apps mess up from using TiBu. This doesn't constitute a clean install of an app.
4) Read through the thread to see if your issue has been addressed before and if their is currently a solution for it.
BUG REPORTNG
**I WILL NOT LOOK AT BUG REPORTS THAT HAVE NOT TRIED THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED STEPS OR LOGS THAT COME FROM A COMBINATION OF ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE ROM AND THE GOOGLE APPS.**
When you report a bug, be detailed about it. Simply stating "This is not working right" does not help me any at all, and I will probably just ignore the post. Be prepared to grab a logcat if asked or to provide me with the steps to reproduce the issue on my own device. If you don't know how to get a logcat, Google is your friend and there are multiple ways to do so. Also, search the thread, and search it again before reporting a bug, to be sure it hasn't already been addressed. No need to clog the thread with 10 people saying "This isn't working right".
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PERSONAL GRIEVANCES IN THE THREAD. WE HAVE HAD RECENT ISSUES WITH THIS AND IT HAS BEEN SHOWN THAT IT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ANYMORE.
Thx
Thx, will give it a try :good:

Give me some logs.
Does your CM12.1 ROM by Lysergic boot up with SELinux set to permissive? I'm guessing so to be the cause of the 'bootloop' you're facing.
Me either on bootloop, try dirty flash, clean flash, on cm12.1 by lysgercic didnt get bootloop.

Show me the screenshot of SELinux in about phone.
Maybe i didnt let time to your stock kernel version to boot your build, but now i flashed and use Apolo Beta9 CM version kernel, your rom boot fine now.
just have systemui FCs and bootloop.
at this step, i formated system/data/cache with twrp v2.8.5.0 and i reflashed your build + supersu 2.46 and rom never booted, i forced reboot but no boot
i retry apolo (CM version) and rom booted but still FC on SystemUI.
i try apolo OMNI version and its same FC on SystemUI.
finaly i patch your zip with boot.img and recovery-from-boot.p files from last CM12.1 (15/04 build) and dirty reflash over all that i have done before now and i can say (after 67 app optimied) that ALL IS FINE NOW (except some soft reboots, i hope its because i have 6% battery only)
this is my test and report .

This ROM was created by Martin Coulon (@martinusbe) one of the lead devs at Ground Zero Roms. This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to finish. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happily intoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

Nothing was tampered with. The app didn't even open to begin with for me to change any settings to it. I also tried to do a clean install and the first thing I did was install CameraNextMod without messing with anything else. The app just force closed and never opened.
One of the best ROM. Downloaded, Flashed and running for almost 5 hours.
I have a question is there any setting to disable floating status bar.
Another request: please consider aligning left clock in clock & date settings!
Thanks for this beautiful ROM.

Not sure what the issue might be then? Bad download? I have CameraNext Mod on my OPO works great, unless you know you change the video settings to 4k and then it goes to potts. After a quick reboot and reset the settings its fine. You should probably get a log of it when it crashes but then again it sounds more like the app then anything, since atleast two of us testers are using the same app and it works.

I'd say its about a 9 stability wise. Everything seems to work. Needs some testing out in the masses to let me know what needs fixing still.
I use it as a daily ROM for weeks now.

Well in my opinion CM is a based on AOSP however it's not AOSP.
The reason why some people ask CM or AOSP is because if based on CM obviously we'll experience known bugs and so forth however if based on AOSP we won't experience the same stuff and we have reassurance that its built from AOSP, less bugs, less bloatware and a better stock experience. And that's why we ask, so we know what to expect. CM is not AOSP for many XDA users, correct me if I'm wrong.
What is the size and the original file system (Fat32, ext2...) of your SD card before formatting for internal use ?

Flash the ROM at your own risk.
I accept NO responsibility for what you do (or can't do) with your own device. I am not responsible for bootloops, fruitloops or frickazees.
I DO accept responsibility for: Thermonuclear detonation & Zombie Apocalypse.
1) Backup & Factory reset then flash in recovery:
TWRP 3.0.0-0 (if anyone flashes with a higher version, please report)
2) Flash Gapps (recommend micro) - http://opengapps.org/
3) Screen will blank after a few minutes on the initial startup after flashing, the first boot may take several minutes (be patient, it will boot)
I started compiling this ROM as Unofficial because I have been using AICP exclusively for 2 years (on M7 & now Bacon) and figure if no one objects I can share some of the work. This is my HOBBY.
With that I say THANK YOU AICP (LorD ClockaN, n3ocort3x & semdoc along with their entire dev team) for bringing such terrific work to our devices. Special thanks to LorD ClockaN (motivation, encouragement, help & backbone of Official AICP), Pranav Cherukupalli & the legwork for the sources & kernels by Amaradeep Arora.
I make no claim to doing any more than compiling and making minor changes to what I want from the build. I own this device and enjoy making some minor modifications & tinkerings - I hope you will also. PEACE.
Basic Changes from "Official" AICP Rom:
OTA is NOT enabled on my build
(dirty flashing an "Official" over my build & vice versa does work, most changes I made are cosmetic with some cherri-picks)
I don't recommend "backwards" flashing dirty - so check the build dates
Custom Boot Animation
Unofficial AICP Logos [WIP]
Custom App for Unofficial Wallpapers (Thank you Jason Townley for the awesome Game or ROMs screen)
Latest APK file for wallpaper app must be manually installed to upgrade if dirty flashing >>> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=51312

Please do not use issues with these builds to ask for help on the official thread. If you get an error, random reboot, etc. attach a logcat to any requests for help if possible. - Thank you
Recommended Gapps:
MUST flash 7.1 Gapps on the latest build. Tested with Slim's Revisited & opengapps / both boot fine.
Sim Revisited Gapps
TWRP 3.0 - Read this entire page first! If you flash with a higher version, please comment and let us know if it is successful.
- Nandroid / Backup your device!
- Standard factory reset wipe (recommended unless dirty flashing over THIS build)
- Flash Rom
- Flash Gapps 7.1
- Reboot

New build 12/14 - new (WIP) TWRP Flashable boot-animation
The 12/12 build was constantly freezing up on me. I was using open gapps and I had a calendar has stopped working report. I was forced to stop using it because of the crashes were happening too often so I didn't get to notice more bugs.
I am downloading the 12/14 build and hope to test it tomorrow. Thanks
---------- Post added at 05:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:40 AM ----------
So spent a little time with it. I turned Google now on tap on and it said Google has crashed. Did that twice and then it stopped trelling me it wasn't working.
Also, when I tried to delete some quick settings buttons, the system ui would crash
That all I noticed but very nice Rom man. Buttery smooth.
Oh, BTW, I noticed I can't customize what the back button does but I can the menu and home button. Is that like that for all mm roms? I've been trying to find one but haven't seen one yet.
I haven't tried gravity box but on other mm roms, gravity box wasn't working. They may have updated it now but at least about a week ago it wasn't working.

Are you using opengapps? I don't use Google Now because of the battery drain, but I tried on the latest build and didn't get any crash with "Ok Google" from voice activated or from the search bar.
I had issues with editing quick settings buttons on 12/12 build (actually reboot), 12/14 was more stable I think too. My 12/12 build was compiled early in the AM (05:22AM), later that day there were some merges for settings tiles that may have not made it into that build. There have been some more changes according to gerritt - I will re-sync and compile again this afternoon.

Yes. Exactly, except the newest build I can not change quick setting buttons. Also, Google now on tap doesn't work. I have not used it yet because no mm roms I've used works with it yet... Haven't tried a lot of mm roms.
Dev for this, will you please add customizable back button. I've got way to used to it on roms now. I don't like doing xposed cause its one more thing to screw up for me. Regardless, I will prolly just set the menu button up if the back key isn't added.

Yeah, please fix this dev. I want to disable the hardware buttons completely but the backlit lights are so distracting
ROM is also available volte feature, but I think our country is not supported. How to add VoLTE feature vodafone turkey. VoLTE calls and WiFi calls I want to activate.
can you help any idea.
Hi.
Problem 1:
The in call volume is low when I connect my phone to my car. There is no problem with the media sound, but the in call volume is extremely low only bt connection.(Maximum sound level in phone and car). I dont happening this problem stock rom and stock based roms(ViperU etc.) in the same car.
Problem 2:
Gps lock speed too slow against viperu or stock rom.
For example same location same signal same weather. Stock rom locked 9-10 satellites in 3 4 seconds. But this rom locked 4 5 satellites 40 50 seconds. Please fix this.
How can I solve these problems?
Until just now everything was surprisingly good, but while I just wanted to check the xda thread here, it came to a complete crash. I had to press the hardware buttons to enter download mode and then reboot. Don't know what's happens.
PROBLEM 3:
Status bar dont pull down in full screen apps(PUBG Mobile, Youtube etc.).
Does anyone have substratum working?

it works, after you build and update then reboot, go back and select enable selected item and it's good
Just a quick note that I have installed and have been running for several days without a hitch. Very nice control and response from this ROM. A slight learning curve coming from Oreo. Thank you for this great release!!
