I have lgk7 ms330 thru metro pcs the phone is unlocked by them. Now I see it does not work with certain 4g Bands how to access the service menu to enable those bands?
I have the same problem with my lg K7, it's a T-mobile device. Mine works only the 2G / EDGE BAND. I did unloked the bootloader, also tried build.props but nothing changed, it seems that the other bands are still locked by the manufactor.

It's an lg lte 4g model. i put here more software info.
android version 5.1.1
baseband version
MPSS.JO.1.0.c5.7
kernel version is 3.10.49
Software version K33010l
It does not work with certain bands because the flashed modem on the device doesn't support those bands. This is an OEM problem that would be fixed by a custom rom.
Hi I have a lg phone k7 The problem is that it does not support 4G or 3G only 2G so that my country where I live is a 4G signal please help me ???

and in india my cdma provider is RELIANCE
i manually added APN too still no use n no data
with GSM data works fine....pls help me in getting data in cdma pls

was using as it is as i got frm the box.....everything is working but data in cdma is alone not working....it seems tht it is unlocked
if not...can u say me how to unlock those bands pls
Alright the first step is figuring out which bands you carrier needs for CDMA, then you need to enable that band, as most likely the vs985 does not support it natively

CDMA 800 MHz is the band for reliance in india,most probably i guess

Hi need help please , I have a Galaxy S4 I545 , I can anly connect on 3G and even in the back of the device says s4 verizon 4g lte . When I change the LTE network goes without service. Let alone globally connect on 3G, I wonder if I can enable or install 4G LTE bands . Thank you
The SCH-I545 should have 4G enabled automatically. 4G is already installed on the phone unless it has been messed with (ROM,kernel etc.). Is it possible you are just not in a 4G area or have it on your Sim?

The phone is 4G capable, only in USA. Outside, its only 3G. That is how Verizon did it, locking bands so Verizon users cannot have LTE with other providers like T-Mobile or Sprint or ATT. T-Mobile should work worldwide. For Verizon, you will need to unlock bands.
What country are you in ? Most probably, you need band 3 or band 28 which are deactivated.

I'm from france. I use "SFR" carrier searched about it I need band 3, 7 and 20. I tried using hidden menu (*#27....#) but still can't unlock bands.
Anyone know a method to allow LTE bands?
Is there a way to enable the LTE bands for an unlocked Wind LG G5 devices to work on Rogers LTE services ?
I'm only getting 4G. APN, MMS, and network (GSM/WCDMA/LTE Auto) is set correctly.

Perhaps despite being the LG-H831 on all Canadian carriers each variant may got a different baseband radio firmware that enables different bands? While i'm not on either Wind or Rogers would be interesting to compare the radio on your Wind variant to my SaskTel sold (BWA variant). Currently I got MPSS.TH.2.0.c1.4-00013-m8996FAAAANAZM-2.44625.6.
How to get baseband version: Settings > General tab > About Phone > Software info

I corrected the issue. Apparently Rogers have an LTE APN (ltemobile.apn) that I didn't add.
My WIND h831 came with same baseband version.
VoLTE
On my H831 Rogers variant, I'm lacking voice While on LTE.
Jus changed apns, still no look. Still only getingn H+, hope this phone is compatible with us tmo lte
Did you buy the global version of the phone? I believe it needs band 4 or 20 to work with t mobile. I have the non global version and I cannot use LTE because it does not have these bands.

Did you not checked which bands the phone is supporting and which bands your operator is using before buying it... ?
