I do not maintain these roms so ask him if you need help!
I am currently working on a Cyanogenmod 14 for this device and it will be done by almost the end of the year or longer. Depends so hitting the Thanks button will encourage me to finish the Cyanogenmod rom faster and more accurately with dedication.

Did you ask permission to post this?
There could be reasons why devs don't post their work for general public release in device forums.
Also if we are going to credit the rom then the original author @deadman96385 should be recognized.

@deadman96385 didn't make this rom, he made a rom for SM-T550. @elginsk8r made SM-T350. Also, the rom was posted before there was a Samsung Galaxy Tab A Series forum.

I think you'll find the original sources are from @deadman96385 repo.
Irrespective of that it's still prudent to ask the current developer for permission.

No, the original author is me, deadman and i ported both devices at the same time using evervolv sources.
But this kid did not ask for permission, so could the mod close this thread?

Sorry for posting this thread without permission. But anyways I am not a "kid". That is very rude if you think of it in my perspective.

Well I went ahead and tried this build anyways and it boots fine. Video and audio is working. It's a bit sluggish at times but I think that could be solved with A little work on the kernel. As long as I didn't over do it with the apps installed it ran very nicely though. I really hope that the original dev (who is a genius in my mind) keeps working on this port. I would be more than willing to do the testing and am used to logcats. Just let me know. And thank you for sharing.

i tried this the other day and i like it. but there are a couple of bugs that i found. when installing Gapps Google Music stops working on boot which i removed because i don't use it anyway. And no cameras work on it at all. all apps fail to load camera. other than that i like it. i hope someone works on this more or makes newer roms for this device.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed too. This is a good tablet. I picked up the Tab 3 t110 last year around Christmas and it too has almost no development. At least this tab has a ported CM based rom to tinker with. A good stock rooted rom would be nice too. I will be watching this thread to see if it goes anywhere.

That is what I am looking for too a zip of the stock rooted firmware. I can debloat it myself but its the zip that I wish I knew how to get or make.

Currently running Evervolv on my t350. Over joyed to have found a Rom and development on this device, I had lost hope for it. Thanks to everyone especially the dev.

I finally got this ROM to run very smoothly and everything is working as it should. Camera, videos, audio and Bluetooth all working. About the only thing that isn't that great is battery consumption but I think as the rom settles in it may get better. I hope that the original dev decides to officially support the t350 with his build of Evervolve. So far so good. Even the theme engine worked flawlessly.

They worked without moding anything. But it wasn't an easy install... Lol.. I would add an app or two and let it go for a while. Doing it that way it worked great. The only issue was the battery usage. It wasn't good at all but if we had a kernel that would allow for tweaking, I think it could be tamed. Its a good start to having a ROM other than TouchWiz. : )

Please help me
I installed this custom rom and there is no google play services or nothing. just audio fx, calculator, chromium, clock. contacts, documents, downloads, email, gallery, music, settings and themes. No google anything. Please link me or tell me how to find the google play services version that i need, will be much appreciated thanks in advance

so many 'not so unique' ROMs.
I know you wanted to share yours in good wills but some way it seems unnecessary to me until it really becomes something unique in some way to the least. At least from the screens it does not seem so. This forum is already crowded with so many such 'efforts'. It makes the decision so difficult.
Dont know if its good or bad, just giving my opinions. Please no hurt feelings, please.

UnityROM-2 v.3.0.1

Basic Overview
Source built Cyanogenmod 11.0 with a bucket of butter poured on top .
Compiled and Built with SaberMod GCC 4.8 Toolchains with a lot of optimization flags set.

I'm up and running. It's so smooth and haven't run into one problem yet. Loved the "easier" installation process and ability to customize installed apps.

It had a few names actually. Couldn't find a good one lol. It was just Project Unity by the end. What happened was I needed help doing something to make my ROM different from CM Official in some positive meaningful way and after banging my head against a wall basically trying everything I could think of to do this and after getting nowhere for too long I had the ROM taken down till there was a change like this.
But was noted as one of the most reliable AOSP/CM ROMs available for Evo LTE which is why I had to bring it back up with GCC 4.8 & O3 optimizations once I noticed the difference during my initial tests.
Wow. Thanks LiquidSmoke. This is by far the most stable 4.4.4 Rom that I have used so far. Data is working perfectly. I s on Dirty Unicorns 7.9 but, data was retarded, lol. They should take some notes from you. Again thanks for the BEST Kit Kat Rom available for our aging but still dope devices.

Well it's only getting better too. I'm adding in some more build optimization flags now. And once those are done I'm going to try of add the -fstrict-aliasing flag but that one is a real pain but worth the effort to get in there.

I managed to get it to work. I followed these steps:
1- I uninstalled Google Search using Titanium Backup
2- I reinstalled Google Search from the Play Store. At this point, saying Ok Google only works on the Google Now screen.
3- I downloaded and installed Google Now Launcher.
Voila! It works from the home screen and all the usual places where it should.

[ROM] UltimaROM-Shamu - LMY47Z - 5.1.1 - 20150630

UltimaROM-Shamu
Information
Welcome to UltimaROM. Some of you may know me from the S3 and S4, some of you may not. This is the first time I've managed to get UltimaROM on an actual Nexus device, despite spending a long time on TouchWiz devices, making them more AOSP-like.
I got this device a couple of days ago, so bare with me while I acclimatise!
Features
OTA Updates (handled by RomHut)
Forced encryption disabled (requires data wipe once)
Stock kernel (for now, you may choose another)
Xposed
Xposed is not supported. You may install it. It may work. But I will not support any Xposed related questions or requests. I will never bundle it with the ROM.
Download
Android Lollipop 5.1.1
Download UltimaROM-Shamu 20150630 here
fda5706978e91c17109cfc18a29ce751
Github: here
Note:
SuperSU is not included by default. I toyed with this idea, and figured it best to leave that up to you to root if you so wish. Many of the intended features of this ROM will work ok without root.
Installation instructions
TWRP 2.8.7.1 or greater is preferred. CWM should be considered "abandoned" these days
Copy the ROM files to your device (I prefer to keep a folder especially for anything ROM related)
Choose "install" in TWRP
Locate this ROM
(Optional) Queue up some other files like SuperSU
Flash

It's literally just a stock ROM right now, as you can see from the changelog. But you have the OTA app if you install and will get OTA's as and when I update with newer features I will deodex, debloat and start adding some proper features soon, I was just excited to post an UltimaROM thread again!
I'm in!
Loved your stuff for my old S4. Awesome to see you in a N6 now!
Think I'm going to give this a go. One question in future of the development are you going to be a adding a theme engine. If so will it be CM or Layers. I only ask as I almost always use layers. Many thanks

I didn't, but I have now. Erm, AFAIK, there is no way to use CM Theme Engine on these ROMs. I'd like to get Layers working as I intend on theming some apps myself.

If you add layers to it then I will 100% stick with you for it. The guy who brought layers to android is on G+ and from all accounts a really good guy. I'll link you to his community so you can have a look.

Matt, too the best of my knowledge, it would be an almost insurmountable challenge to get stock 5.1.1 in a position to support layers...it's either hard coded themed stock apps or an AOSP based rom if you want a theme platform.
With the advent of M, all of this changes, as RRO appears to be inclusive, so Layers and other platforms that take advantage RRO will work natively.
Ask @daveyannihilation, as I'm certain that he'd love to drone on endlessly about what an incredible guy he is.

Hello guys! Since it was rooted our device has seen only one rom be developed for it so far, so I decided to take action on this and submitted a request for Cyanogenmod development on our device. We need to work together though if this is ever going to happen. So...
If you'd like to see another custom rom for the Core Prime in the future (possibly even one that has the new Android Marshmallow w/ nightly updates), then please help by showing Cyanogenmod that there is enough interest by following the steps, either for "Taptalk" or "via computer", below:
TAPATALK USERS:
1) Click on the "Following" tab at the bottom of the app. Then look for the "Add More" button, search for "Cyanogenmod" and add the Cyanogenmod forum to your Tapatalk by clicking "Follow".
(Be sure to log in or sign up with CM there through Tapatalk if you haven't already.)
2) Once in the forum do a search for the words "Core Prime" to find our device request thread. Open it and click on the little "(+)" sign at the top right to subscribe to the thread and save it to your Tapatalk.
3) Place your request in the thread by commenting and mentioning the SM-G360T1.
(Also maybe go through and click on the "thumbs up" for other requests to show your support.)
* To check up on this thread later btw, just go to the "Following" tab, click on "Cyanogenmod" & then click on the "Subscribed" tab and you will see the thread there.
TO DO THIS VIA COMPUTER:
1) Check out the link of my request here:
EDIT: They moved my request and our comments into a general request thread with all the Core Prime models. Here is the new link:
https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/index...en-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Core-Prime?#entry606756
2) Sign up with a username on the Cyanogenmod forums there and verify your email. (Sign up is in the upper right on mobile.)
3) Go back to the link above and just make a comment expressing your mutual interest in development for this device. Make sure to mention the model # "SM-G360T1".
LETS SHOW THEM THAT CM FOR CORE PRIME IS WELL WORTH THEIR WHILE!!!
Also, lets maybe use this thread to discuss and update each other regarding any progress towards CM development for our device.

Still WIP, but whatever. I haven't pushed any commits in a while, and I haven't tried to build it yet.

Awesome! I had no idea that anyone had done any work in that direction. Well, hopefully we can get this happening one way or another. Thanks for responding on there by the way!

I started testing a slimmed down 5.1.1 rom that someone had made for this device yesterday too that was debloated and deknoxed, but unfortunately there is still a problem happening during the flashing process that has to be worked out. It's his first rom too, so it may take a bit to develop, but the good news is that people are starting to take interest.

Oh that's nice! Can't wait for that release!
By the way, I've started to sync CM Sources. Hopefully once it downloads, I can compile it. However I believe I might need some more things before I can compile, so I'll DL it in the meantime.

I don't know, maybe that will look better for us to have more requests on there. Just make sure to mention that you're requesting it for the SM-G360T1 when you comment.

While we're waiting on Cyanogenmod, for anyone who wants to to try something new right now on their SM-G360T1, there is a new, awesome, debloated, deodexed, deknoxed, slim build of our AOFA firmware from @Koognod! It's called "Slim Pickens" rom and you should check it out. I've been running it on my device for a couple days and it's working really well.

Good question. Haven't heard anything, but then again there are only 36 requests total for ALL of the Core Prime models and only about half of those are for the SM-G360T1. Not good.
Updated the OP...
So yeah, I've been attempting to do a custom build of CyanogenMod for our device (if you didn't already know). However, I am missing something: the vendor files.
Anyone know how I can get my hands on them?

[ROM] CyanogenMod 13.0 Nightlies

Edit: I no longer own this phone. Information in the OP may be outdated and/or incorrect. Please go to the new thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-nightlies-snapshots-t3363769
DISCLAIMER: I AM IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS ON YOUR DEVICES CAUSED BY FLASHING THESE BUILDS. THE UPSTREAM CODE AND BUILDING IS MAINTAINED BY THE CYANOGENMOD TEAM, NOT ME. I AM NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR TEAM, I AM JUST THE THREAD OWNER.
It was a fun round of unofficial nightlies but the official upstream CM13 builder for shamu is active! Please use the new download links below to grab the official nightlies. Dirty flash seems to work fine if you go from my unofficial 11-29 build to the official 11-30 one. As mentioned in the first post, I will be ceasing my personal builds for now and leave it to the CM team.
Notes: CyanogenMod's stock kernel forces encryption of storage. Please download one of the third party kernels if you wish to avoid this. Also this thread assumes you have kept up to date with bootloaders and radio. At the time of writing, the latest is from the MRA58K release and can be downloaded here.

Correct, but not nightly and as far as I can tell albinoman887 is also making fixes which implies altering of upstream code. My thread intends to serve as a purely upstream source build.

I would like to say thank you, and I believe that this ROM deserves its own thread respectfully. Since there isn't much action from that other Alpha build and if you are truly building on a nightly basis then this is much appreciated and I look forward to testing.
Thanks!

A Thread with Zero Support from the Thread OP and no Nightlys , its good to see this Thread with hopfully regular updates since I currently have working in the border guarding Work and never have time for building. But what i know from @djh816 updates come many times.

Thanks for the support and glad to build it. Just to make sure credit is given where due, any bug fixes will be made only by the CyanogenMod team and/or any git contributors. Not sure if you'll get much support from me either but I'll certainly be glad to give any tips I find. For example, if this one specific bug rears its ugly head again, you may need to rename the SetupWizard apk inside /system/app-priv/ as that has been constantly force closing for me prior to today's build.

Thanks OP, for bringing this to us. Seems pretty good for such an early build. I just barely flashed it but seems great so far.
Does ad away work on this build? It wouldn't work on the previous build.
Is security disable on the ROM?

Will you be adding any features or will this be more of a slim to stock cm13 builds? Also thanks for your contributions

No features added whatsoever If they add it upstream (included in CM) it'll be here, otherwise no. Absolutely stock. Consider me a third party buildbot slave
Very nice ROM. Just to let everyone know I just finished flashing with the Open GApps Pico and it's working fine. I know, it's bad form to use something that's not recommended.
One quick question, do we get any notification that the new nightly is ready to flash or do we just check the download site?

For now just the download site. I may setup something similar to the pushbullet feed Chroma has if people are interested but haven't spent the time to do it yet. New 11-23 build is up now though
Edit: Woot, looks like they fixed the system rw mounting. Hm but my test file disappeared on reboot.. maybe not yet
