[Q] sd card issue

I tried 3 different SD cards from 3 different cameras, none worked on my tablet, all worked on vaio laptop. Is my port damaged or am I missing something here?
make sure the format is FAT32
hmm..I'm not in the same country as my laptop now, I'll check when back home
I am thinking of buying an S1 but I read a comments on another sitre about the SD card that indicates you cannot move apps to the card (as you can with most other android devices).
Is this true? If so would it better to get a 32GB S1?
Try to plug the camera in via the USB host function, should work.
Sometimes I have to reboot the device with the sd-card pre inserted before it will recognize it. Maybe that might work?
On off suggestion didn't work...will check if fat 32 tomorrow
I bought a SDXC 128GB card for my tablet. I formated it with FAT32 and it works like a charm.
Happened to me too... fat32 formatted and all, still wouldnt detect it. I had to put it in and out until i finally saw the message on screen about the sd card being connected =/

[Q] CM7 SDCARD and USB Problem

Hi
Yesterday I install CM7.It works well but when I input my 32gb sd card it doesnt recognize (also i tried it with my 4gb card and it works)and also when i plug it to my computer it just only charching I cant see the partititons of nook.
Do you know anything about it?
I'm not 100% sure about the SD card, you could try booting into recovery, then wipe cache & dalvik factory reset then reinstall your CM7.
For the USB problem, I've noticed some computers won't recognize your device if auto mount is turned off and/or USB debugging. So try switching those settings around and hopefully that will work.
Also make sure you plug your device into 2.0 usb port in your PC, as 3.0 port won't make it.

*SD CARD PROBLEM (SANDISK 32GB CLASS 4 CARD)
It happens all Sandisk Cards,I also tried to mount an 2gb sandisc card,it didint mount to CM7 too like 32gb version.
Here my solution.
Make CWM to your card, and let it repartition to your card.
Download Minitool Partition Wizard Home (FREE)
Find your partition in the program (70mb FAT32 the other unlocated)
Change the 70mb part size to (resize) 29.7gb
It will seen by the Nook
USB problem:
make update.zip(build.prop) file by using CWM,its instructed somewhere in the forum in the 55thpage CM7 feedback tread

SD Card Read issues

Hi guys
I came across a strange issue today and can not find any information about it on the web. Basically i formatted my SD Card via CWM and since that my device is not recognising it. Mounting in CWM using windows 7 it tells me I need to format it before using it. So I do and then Windows recognises the SD Card and I can put stuff on it, even though Clockworkmod does not recognises it still and when I boot into my ROM it does not mount. Any help would be great full.
SD Card info: 8GB Sandisk Class 4

64GB SDCARD not working on SGS2

I recently bought scandisk 64GB micro sdxc card, but looks like its not recognized by android.I have formatted it to FAT32.When I boot into recover y I cannt mount sd card. I cannot open Settings->storage also.
any suggestion , with which ROM 64GB will work?
Got it working.Earlier I formatted card to FA32 and then I was inserting it in phone. It did not work.
Using SD formatter I formatted it back to exFAT and then inserted it into phone. I flashed ROM based on Samsung (wanamlite) .Now when phone is booted it scan for errors in USB , it detects unknown USB storage. So it prompts for blank or unsupported format. I clicked on it and then it automatically formats the sdcard.
Now its working fine.

Help needed asap! Need to get rid of SD card completely or a fix around!

Okay, i'll make this simple as possible... I bought a chuwi vi10 pro tablet. Running android 4.4 and dual boot windows 8.
Everything works fine except when I have my external SD card in my tablet
This is what happens. Everything works PERFECT in windows with the 64 gb card.... Moving stuff and what not all works great on it... But when I dual boot to android, android says "SD card not recognized" which is FINE... I have 15 gb internal in android which is fine.... But when I got back to windows my external SD is now crashed and messed up because android recognized it.... I have tried this with 3 other SD cards.... Its definitely an android issue for some reason.
Now, I just want to either
- DISABLE sd card completely
- or some other fix around.... maybe tricking android into thinking there is an sd card in there? Fake mount?
I HAVE to keep my sd card IN the tablet, I can't remove it when switching operating systems.... I hope someone can help me out... I dont NEED EXTERNAL on android! I just want android to stop trying to see the card!
BUMP!
