I have MetroPCS LG K7 phone, its rooted, also unlocked for any gsm carrer and there is a switch for GSM/WDCMA/LTE in the settings, but data only works on 2G, it doesnt switch to 3G or LTE.
in USA I used to use LTE on it, but now I am in Europe, Georgia and Im not able to make it work..
is there any solution for this? thnx in advance for helping
Yes am experiencing the same problems with LG k7 lgms330 on android os 5.1.1 Theres no LTE and no 3g only 2g and edge please help. Also tried shortcut master (Lite) but to no avail yet.

Good day! have you find the solution for this? my mother also having this problem with her LG K7 Metro PCs. Maybe the security update is the cause?
Didn't get it solved, guess its unlocked to work that way.

Hi everybody
I have a problem with my G3, I'm in France and use a vzw G3 version, I unlocked LTE bands available here in France now I have 4G.
But I have an other problem, when I lost gsm signal phone won't search to connect to another one when available, must search manually or reboot phone.
Can anyone help me to solve this?

I have been using Verizon Lg G3 with ATT and i'm planning to root and intall illusion ROM on it, but i want to use g3 with ATT LTE, will i have any issues to use with ATT ?
Also i'm using good mobile that detects rooted devices , is there a way to use Good mobile with a rooted G3 please let me know.

I have Cricket Wireless which is owned and operated by AT&T so I use AT&T towers.
You will get LTE on your VS985 using AT&T only if you're on 10b or 11c modems. If you use any modem after 11c it disables LTE. I have no clue why. I installed Illusion ROM on my phone with 10b modem and I was still connected to LTE. The only ROM I have encountered that I do not get LTE on are Stock based Lollipop ROMs because of the 23b radio. When I was on a stock based Kitkat ROM I was able to connect to LTE as well because of the 10b modem.
Stick with 10b or 11c Modem, and you will have no problems connecting to LTE.
There are also ways to enable other LTE bands on your phone. I use shortcut master Lite to enable those and change the way my phone connects.

Hi i have just finish rooting my verizon lg g3. I get lte here and there with the att network. I know they only hit band 4 on stock. Can I unlock the other 4lte bands? please if thats possible list the steps!

I was able to do so on KitKat ROMs with Shortcut Master Lite. I can't remember the exact steps but there is a thread on here where I learned it from so I don't want to take the credit...

No. Other than the international band3 LTE there are no other bands you can unlock. Just band 4 for at&t and T-Mobile LTE, already unlocked.

Hi guys , Im fairly new at switching providers . My lg v10 works on the Cricket network. But, it displays an H where the 4 G LTE should be . Do i have to flash it to make it work properly or it is as good as i have it right now? Thanks for any help
Why not check the lte bands and see if cricket's bands are supported by the vzw v10
Have to enter the secret menu and force lte/wcdma/gsm. Bit can't do that without root.

I have lgk7 ms330 thru metro pcs the phone is unlocked by them. Now I see it does not work with certain 4g Bands how to access the service menu to enable those bands?
I have the same problem with my lg K7, it's a T-mobile device. Mine works only the 2G / EDGE BAND. I did unloked the bootloader, also tried build.props but nothing changed, it seems that the other bands are still locked by the manufactor.

It does not work with certain bands because the flashed modem on the device doesn't support those bands. This is an OEM problem that would be fixed by a custom rom.
