bussing sound left earphone whilst charging phone - Elephone P9000 Questions & Answers

Started today. When ever I plug the charger in I get a buzzing noise from my left ear phone. Take the charge out and the noise is gone. I am using the fast charge with a 56k vootech cable which I've had not had any problems with before. I have tested the headphone in another device whilst that was charging and there was noise In There

Heres what I've done so far: used both stock cables - didn't help..switched EU to UK adapters - didn't help. Charged a tablet with a USB micro cable in elephone fast charge - here the sound was detected, on the stock tablet charger it was not present. Now I have flashed 20160608 Rom and will test again..I know its not the headphone or the headphone jack as it is only present with the fast charger whilst not playing any music. Updated ota - didn't work. Tried a different wall charger and that fixed it

Car charger not working anymore used previously with 9100

Hello,
I've got my TyTN in europe (ROM 1.18.256.104) and my "usb" car charger is not working (charge sometime but ONLY if my TyTn is switched off....not usefull for GPS...)
I've tried another one same problem...restested with my 9100 : ok .
Is it due to the charging load ???
Anyone experiencing the same problem ???
Cheers
André
If I remember correctly the 9100 used an 800mA charger and the TyTn uses a 1A charger. That could be your problem.
hello,
same problem, but charging work on laptop (normally laptop is unable to offer more than 500ma).
I've read an article with C500 where charging work when pin 4 of the usb cable was linked with gnd. Is the same problem with Tytn ?
cheers
Tom
yep, had the same problem too with a standard charger with usb cable.
the charger output was 500mA. it stopped charging after a few seconds.
Recently i bought a Brodit carholder with the charger included. This charger has 1000mA output and its charging without problems.
So you need at least a 1000mA(1A) charger, otherwise it will not work well.

Thanks Luminus for the Reply, But are you sure there is no electronic part added on this car charger ? :?
Strange enough, both my car charger and USB Mains adapter (1A output) (which I was using for O2 Mini and Dopod 818Pro without any problem) was charging fine on my Dopod 838Pro, but the unit had a problem and I was given a new unit. This unit now does not work with my car charger nor the USB Mains adapter.
Looks like a trip down to the service centre again!
it was a cigarettelighterplug adaper with a usb output, with a regular usb/miniusb cable. the adapter was 500mA.( input 12V/output/5V)
it was a complete kit. you could use it for anything you want.
I only attached the TyTN to this adapter.
the adapter couldn't hold it, the amps exceeded the 500mA and stopped loading. the adapter still works on other devices.
the brodit has the same type of adapter, only with a fixed cable on it and 1000mA. this works perfect.
thats why i think that you need a 1000mA one to get it charging.
Hello,
Perhaps true perhaps not...
I used an official Qtek charger -> 1A ..it work
But not sure that due to the 1A because tried to use a self powered USB Hub and it work too ... I will check the official Qtek car charger (if nothing specific)
I use several chargers. i notice that sometimes, if a charger will only charge the device when switched off, i soft reset the device and then it will charge when on. strange problem. the problem of not charging when on, also occurs with chargers that for sure have over 1 amp.
Same problem here......tried to use the mini usb charger I got with my Leadtek BT GPS mouse......
Sometimes it will charge.....sometimes not....
Problem seems to occur when I switch the device on....ie receiving a phonecall or a textmessage....
It then stops charging only to resume after the phone goes back into stby mode....
Weird.....
Danny.
I have the same problem. I have HTC TyTN and 1A car lighter charger with normal USB cable.
Charging from normal, regular charger works. Charging from computer's USB works. Charging from car adapter works only sometimes.
I've tested about ten different car chargers, including one 2A - still nothing.
I've done factory reset of TyTN - after reset it was working for two days.
I have installed only few essential for me programs and no tweaks.
Cable is tested and working.
It makes no difference if I connect device turned on or off. It makes no difference if I reset device connected.
I have no more ideas...
I kept having the same problem but I think I've solved it.
I went into a T-Mobile shop and bought the 'official' car charger for T-Mobile SDA/MDA and I haven't had the problem since.
I've no idea what it's current rating is, because it has no relevant markings on, but it does get pretty warm in use!
help
I am really confused.
I have the sync wire that came with my device. It has stopped working as a charger from the laptop and I can;t active sync. I can however, de-activate the usb link and use the cable to activate my phone as a modem for the pc, so in theory it works at some level.
I also have another lead which is a compact one and it is giving me the same problem.
Both worked until this week so it isn't a case of them not being compatable.
Any ideas. I depserately need to sync. I can charge from the plug so thats no problem.
ahh
I have repaired actve sync and it seems to be ok now. I have no idea what happened.

Wizard Music Dock inside (Picture)

Hi,
some days ago I asked about the Music dock which is sold for around 30$. I bought it and after a week or so I would like do give a brief summary of it.
In principle, it comes with everything necessary, (docking station, AC power adapter with normal USB male plug, USB female to mini-USB cable, 2x 3.5mm Audio cable). Sound quality is for the size of the device ok, I opened it to
a) see what's inside
b) disable the bright blue status LED
The only thing that is not ok: The power adapter has also a status LED which is green when nothing is attached and flashes red when the device is charging. If you do not listen to music, i.e. the amplifier is at stand-by, a popping noise from the charge trigger impulse is audible every other second through the speakers. But if you use another AC adapter (like the one from the wizard), its quiet.
Overall, I can strongly recommend the device for this price.

[Q] i9100 Charging Problem after installing new screen

So my mate gave me his broken i9100, it was dropped quite heavily and the screen cracked, I have replaced the screen and it is working fine, apart from being very slow to charge, and when the screen is on, it will slowly drop charge while connected to a charger.
I have this problem on a wall usb charger, pc usb charger, and car charger.
I did have an issue where plugging in the power would cause the sound to stop coming out of the speaker, I put this down to a possible damaged headphone jack as this was in use when the phone was dropped. I have since replaced both the USB Charging Flex and the Headphone flex and the charging problem continues.
I have ordered some new batteries so will see if this makes a difference, although the phone does charge with the screen off, albeit very slowly.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this may be? I am using the recent CM10 nightlies, and have had this problem on other roms also, ie Jellybam.
I do have the screen on full brightness as this is how I like to use my phone, anything less than full I find too dim.
Thoroughly clean the USB connector on the phone.

[Q] Charging & Jacking issue

Hi Guys, I got my unit of xperia z2 on earlier august 2014 this year.
Been using the phone quite satisfying until recently.
First let's talk about my headphone jack. So far I had tried to used edifier earphone & samsung earphone. Both of this earphone i able to listen to it for a few week, after that the earphone just stop working, it would start off where you able to hear static sound follow up with only just 1 side of the earphone able to heard. After that it totally can't connect at all.
Is this an earphone issue or my z2 jacking issue?
Secondly, regarding of the charger. Yesterday i had used it to play game until it heated up then I had plug it to my magnetic dock to charge.
The light was there, but the phone was not charging at all, when I plugged it out, it return me something that say :" insufficient power in power source..", then I plug out & charge it via usb port, it still doesn't charge but the message didn't came out.
It got no issue charging if i off the phone.
But today morning i charge it again using the magnet dock, there is no issue again.
Is this the sony docking/cable/adapter issue?
Based on this 2 issue I got, should i send it to service center?
Are you using the original Sony dock? A 3rd party wall adapter?

[Tested Solution] for 3.5mm and Charging! (with amazon link)

Hey guys, I love this Device! but it sucks that you can't listen to music while charging (with "normal" headphones)
so I ordered this https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B071FW86RV
Ist's a pack of two, why not
Build quality is kinda solid, thick cable, won't break any soon
And it charges at 1,46 amps! ( see in Attachment of ampere)
shure that's not nearly as fast as dash Charge
but ist's kinda normal charging, phone gets full in 2h.
and the cables don't get warm at all (while plugged in with the dash charger)
And music is perfectly fine, it's digital and the same as the one that's included with the phone!
they work for 3 days now with no problems at all!
just wanted to share because I saw a thread, the adapter didn't work in charging
PS: you can safely ignore those bad reviews in amazon, a lot usb c only phones only have analog headphones and digital ones don't work, but our phone does!!
