Does this annoy anyone else? - Verizon LG V10

I love my V10. However, I use an aux cable in my car but it also connects to bluetooth. I use the aux cable because I listen mainly to a podcast through Podcast Addict and I CANNOT get so that the bluetooth opens PA by default. I am using MacroDroid which has really helped me achieve what I want. I want to plug the phone in and have PA play automatically. When I switch the source on the car stereo to Bluetooth, the music app starts playing. NOT what I want.
The biggest thing that I hate is that whenever the phone connects to the bluetooth it ALWAYS asks if I want to play through BT and Aux. It takes a second to dismiss the notification but who decided that I don't have control to tell my device that I don't prefer this and to not ask me again? Every other pop up can be dismissed with a "Don't show again". Has anyone figured out how to get rid of this or am I the only one who is bothered by it?

[Q] CM7 headset/bluetooth routing, headset controls and default music app

I finally bit the bullet and moved into world of CM7/MIUI, currently running CM7 nightly build 80 with Glitch v11 LL. There's three separate problems I'm running into.
First in any of the Froyo ROMS Bluetooth audio always takes priority regardless of whether or not a headset is plugged in. With CM7 the headset always gets priority.
Here's the scenario; I've got my headphones in listening to some tunes, get in my car turn on my bluetooth car adaptor. The adaptor connects automatically but audio continues to play through the headphones. The only way I can get it to play via bluetooth is to physically unplug them. That of course pauses the music, really annoying. With all the Froyo ROMS I've run the audio switches to bluetooth automatically, no need to reach into my pocket to unplug the headphones.
Second I just got a new pair of buds with an inline mic and three button controls. I never had a chance to try them on a Froyo ROM but I've heard that at least the Play/Pause button is supposed to work and I've seen some posts on here that indicate CM7 even supports the volume buttons but so far no luck with any of them.
Finally how in the world can I specify a default music player? I generally use 3(Cubed), but in CM7 the lock screen controls as well as bluetooth controls only work for the default player. So if I'm in the car and hit next track on my bluetooth adaptor the phone starts playing two tracks at once! Fun times I tell you fun times.
Other than that I have to say CM7 kicks so much ass, this phone has never been smoother nor has the GPS ever worked this well. If anyone has any suggestions for these rather nagging troubles I'd be forever grateful!

[Q] stop music from automatically starting on bluetooth connection

Does anyone know how to stop my music from automatically starting when i connect my phone via bluetooth to my car stereo? it's incredibly annoying. i just want my phone to connect to my car and i will start playing music if and when i feel like it. it's so annoying that it starts up every single time i get in my car and turn the bluetooth on....... thanks!
Remove the "media" link or "bluetooth headset" link in your bluetooth settings on your phone or your car:

http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=5134

Install an app specifically for this:
One was mentioned in comment 49 of the first bug report link above.
There's also one called Headset Blocker.
I'm sure there are many others as well.
Use a profile/event app like Tasker: http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid/146722-using-tasker-fix-headset-music-autostart-issue.html.
Disable event using the Autostarts app.
Some media apps have the ability to disable autoplay on bluetooth built in.

[Q] Stop playing on disconnect

Hi,
Before custom ROMS were built on ICS, when I was listening to streaming music in my car (via bluetooth), the phone would automatically stop playing when the car turned off. Same thing if I'm listening to music and I pull the headphones out, whatever was playing gets paused.
Now, when I turn my car off, the music doesn't stop playing, it just starts playing through the phone's speaker.
So my question is, is it the ROM that makes a player pause on disconnect or is it the actual APP that decides to either stop or keep playing through the speaker.
I know PowerAMP has options to auto play and auto stop on disconnect, but other apps like youtube, Audiostation (for my synology NAS) and a few others don't have settings.

I think the fact that some apps have the option indicates that at very least, the app does have some control over it. I don't know if the ROM/kernel have some default setting built in for apps that don't define it.
It seems to be a feature missing in ICS. I'm hoping it shows up by the final update.
I use Tasker to accomplish the same thing. The whole task for media is when I plug headphones in, it launches a menu with media apps (music, netflix, etc) and turns the media volume up to 6. When disconnected, it mutes media volume, pauses media, and returns to the homescreen.
I'll take a look at that in the interim, all I really need is it just to pause on BT disconnect like it use to. The is already a separate volume setting for BT vs the headphone jack. Thanks for the tip.
That's interesting, I didn't know tasker had something to pause media. I'll definitely give that a try.
I believe that was an AOSP tweak..my Inc running CM7 would pause on bluetooth disconnect.

Disable Bluetooth Autoplay?

Every time I get in my car and the bluetooth connects, the phone decides to automatically start playing the last song I listened to. This is REALLY annoying. Some searching has revealed that this is an ongoing problem with no known solution. Anyone have any ideas?
That's a feature, both my cars do it too. Assuming I left it on Bluetooth input when I got out of the car. This way you don't have to do anything to get the music to start playing. Not sure why you would want it off. For me, I'd hate to take my phone out of my pocket to start the music app.

I have the car dock for my phone which automatically turns bluetooth on when inserted. I really REALLY don't like that as soon as the HTC Car application (which is pretty decent) launches, it immediately starts playing music. I would much rather tell it to start playing music when I feel like it. This HAS to be annoying other people.
It actually annoys me that my car doesn't do this! I have Ford/Microsoft Sync and it used to connect to bluetooth on my phone automatically and play music/pandora but it no longer does this. I have to manually tell it to connect to my phone and switch to BT Media.
Have you tried using tasker or something to stop the music app if it detects it running while connected via bluetooth? There's probably a better solution, but worth a shot if you don't actually use it for music in your car.

bluetooth audio issue

Anyone experience this? connected to the car bluetooth, but when i off the infotaintment and stop the car, the music continue playing using the phone speaker. H'mmm not a bit issue but very troublesome to stop what is playing every time
I read in a review that there's a setting you can change which lets you have music continue playing after removing headphones or have it automatically pause, I believe this setting will also affect bluetooth audio as well, perhaps this will help? I can't say if it is this though, I haven't got mine yet but it will be good for me to know too as I connect my phone to my car's stereo via bluetooth and will do the same with the Z2.
