This will help you get dialer shortcut on the lock screen, which is quite useful for me and hate the voice search app.
Steps:
1. Go to settings
2. Navigate to Apps section and open it
3. Click on gear icon in top right corner
4. Select Default Apps
5. Select Assist and Voice input
6. Click on Assist app
7. Select none (Google app must be as default)
8. Voila! You got the very useful dialer shortcut back on lock screen!

Or if you unistall Google app (because I don't use it. it will automatically put dialer on mics place in lock screen. (root is necessary)

Not sure it needs root.
Just inactivate google app and it's OK.
Not everyone is going to root their phone and few people find Google App useful (I do, for getting live football scores) so I posted it!

last week ago Google officially unveiled the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. The Launcher wise, there’s too much out there the ported/moded Pixel 2 Launcher on XDA, so i create this guide to fix your issue like weather and calendar schedule on "at-a-glance widget on a top".
Also work on ported/moded and official so don't worry.
So let go started.
To fix your Weather.
1#Make sure uninstall/update the Google Now/App at a App settings (If necessary for you.)
2#Install/Update the Google Now/App from Play Store.
3#after you finish the "update/install",Make sure turn on the location service/GPS at Android Settings.
(Note:will be decreasing your battery life. so the solution turn it on battery saving mode on Location Service Settings, but i still recommended the high accuracy mode for better speedtime.)
4#Now goto Google App/Now setting up the feed for the first time.
5#after you're done with "feed", swipe left edge of your screen then tap "Customize", and swipe down until you see the weather then turn on the weather and tap on view all settings then make sure they turn on all of them.
6# force stop the launcher From Apps Settings.
Enjoy and please don't leave the thanks botton.

1#No date only weather on at-a-glance widget on some Android 5.x.x-6.x.x (is discovered on Rootless Pixel 2 launcher by @paphonb)
2#calendar schedule is not a bugs just updated your Google App/Now and Google calendar and give it a try if works or not.

Important piece here. Anything flashed is flashed at your own risk. I have not and will not release anything that I have not flashed myself. However, I only release that after testing the mod on my Asus Zenfone 2 Laser running with LineageOs 15. Regardless, you should always backup before flashing anything. Better safe than sorry. To everyone who has asked questions, tested, and contributed I give you a huge thanks.
If you intend on using Substratum, don't flash Pixel Blue Accent Color Mod. I'm working on a simple work around for this.
So as always, make a backup before flashing. I do not have an uninstaller zip made. The best way to uninstall is to backup your system.img in TWRP and restore if to remove the mod.

Pixel Nav Bar Animation?
-Not yet, still roadblocked on that one.
Pixel Launcher is crashing repeatedly after flashing this mod!
-Go into settings from your quick settings and grant Pixel Launcher notification access.
Not all icons are round?
The problem seems to be in the versions of those apps.
Substratum?
-If you flash the Pixel Blue Accent Color Mod For LineageOS 15 then it may break Substratum. If you want to use Substratum don't flash Pixel Blue Accent Color Mod mod. If you have, then just reflash your system.img to return to stock.But you can still use the Google Pixel 2 Mod.
Notification Dots aren't working?!
-Make sure to enable the Notification Dots too. Go into the Pixel Launcher Settings (tap and hold like if you were adding a widget or changing a wallpaper). In the settings there is a category "Notification Dots". Even if it says "On" tap on it. Make sure "Allow Notification Dots" is on.
Weather is not showing!
-Make sure to grant Pixel Launcher location access. Then give it some time. If you don't want to wait, swiping into Google Now and clicking on the weather seems to force refresh the weather widget on your homescreen.

Bro While making the live wallpaper app as system, it's showing FC......SO For now please Install the apk as a normal apk....I will fix all these bugs with my pixel rom .......

Not sure if it's an issue with the latest lineage build or your mod. But I'm getting this with the lock screen clock
