[Q] Copy of 64gb Micro SD to 128gb Micro SD - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I recently copied a SanDisk 64gb to SanDisk128gb Micro SD used in a Verizon Note. It currently is using Alliance 4.4.2. Everything copied fine but it does not show the larger size under settings.
Can a 128gb card actually show up in a Note 2? I was under the impression it should.
I also was going to also hardware modify this phone to be wireless charge but will it work in the firmware?
Thanks

The Note 2 is limited to a 64gb memory card and no higher unfortunately. So unfortunately you are stuck with only using the 64 card.

64gb microSD...

Do it work?
Galaxy S II phones say they only accept up to 32gb microSD cards and yet they happily accept 64gb cards. Was wondering if the tab 7.7 does as well?
Yes i have 2 sandisk 64gb class 6 micro sd cards,1 in my gs2 the other in my tab for 2 weeks now works perfectly.
Get it on sale here hurry:

Yes it does
I can confirm both wifi and 3g can take the 64gb micro sd.
Yep, confirmed again here. I swap between 2 SanDisk 64GB microSD cards for my data and haven't had any issues.
Confirming the Verizon version i815 can accept Sandisk 64GB microSDXC.
I would get one for my 7.7 if that one mod that let's you swap the external and internal sdcard works with it. Has anyone tried it? With all the new high resolutions games and mapping data from offline navigation app, i'm running out of internal sdcard memory.
FYI, on an ICS rom (Skyfire) I was only able to get the Gtab to recognize my 64gb microsd card when formatted as FAT32. ExFat and NTFS were not recognized.
FWIW I've learned the hard way (3 dead 64gb cards) that they DO work but are 'fragile'. Just format fat32 using EaseUS (free) and you're good to go. The fragile part is that they seem to get corrupted at the slightest provication. Seems like any power interuption, no proper unmount or ejection, any early data flow termimation, whatever, will do it. Just be **very** careful in use and should be ok.

[Q] i717 and microSDXC

Hi Everyone,
Does microSDXC cards work with Note 1? I'm thinking of getting one to replace my old 16GB. Not sure if it would work.
Thanks
Vithy
I have used several 64gb cards. Work fine providing the phone doesn't seize up while writing to the card or you eject it properly but that would be true for any sdcard.

Which 64Gb card worked the best for you? I would love to use one on my Note, because 32Gb isn't sufficient for me.

[Q] SGP321 and 64GB SDXC

I just got 64GB micro SDXC, put it into my Xperia Tablet Z SGP321 and found out, that it get unmounted after a while when I'm writing anything on sd card.
I though that this tablet has support for sd cards up to 64GB, but now I found out that 3G model has support only for sd cards up to 32GB.
Is there any way to use my 64GB card with this tablet?
My 4G/LTE version formatted my 64GB card up to 64GB perfectly fine.
Did you get the tablet to format it itself, or just stick it in straight from the packet?
I tried to format it in the tablet with no difference.
no problem with the 64GB and the SGP321 Android 4.2.2 ....

Same device, same FW...
Today I tried some full HD movies (8GB & 13GB) and few 700MB movies, copied using card reader connected to PC.
Then I put card into tablet, open one movie (it worked) and tried to skip to half of the movie. Card got unmounted but then automatically remount. I tried it again and it works now, I'm able to play all movies and skip forward/backward...
But still, when I try to copy some files to SD card in tablet, it got unmounted after short while (i.e. after 10MB).
I use SanDisk 64GB microSDXC class 10.
Maybe it's a fake?

I have a 64gb SanDisk and have also noticed the occasional. Usually during situations of heavy load. Works fine for the most part, just the occasional dismounts, and I know mines legit because it's straight from SanDisk after I rma'd my original one.
I had the same problem with SanDisk Ultra 64 GB card, now I replaced it with Patriot 64 GB Class 10 and everything is working fine.
No more unmounting issues

Help - 64GB Micro SD card support..

I'm on stock 3.22...
Just bought new 64gb micro SD but facing few problems.
Transferred all my data from old 32gb to new 64gb..
1. Images and videos get automatically deleted... 2. If I take pictures on new 64gb memory card, they get corrupted suddenly.. Old remains as it is.
Tested the same memory card with other phones and works perfectly...
Tried multiple 64gb cards but problem remains same..
Any help would be appreciated..

Well i have a 64GB card on my Max since i bought it going from 1.64 to 3.22 and to paoloscm12 and it works percfectly in all of them. You have to make sure your 64GB card is of good branding like Sandisk, Samsung.. etc and not some weird **** you bought on aliexpress. If thats all good, you should try formating your card to exfat if its in some other format, or , if that doesnt work, you can try formating it to fat32 which theoretically cant be done but worked when i had it in my samsung galaxy s2 which didnt support more than 32gb expansion cards.
Same as what pilililo2 said here...

What type of SD cards are supported on the Galaxy S II GT-I9100?

Hello all, I recently got myself a GT-I9100 and will be flashing it with Replicant. I plan on storing lots of music on a micro sd card, but I am not familiar with which cards are compatible and what is the max card size I can use and what brands are recommended. I read somewhere earlier that someone was able to get a Sandisk 128GB card to work after mounting and formatting it. I wanted to know if the Samsung MicroSDXC UHS-3 Evo Plus 512GB card would work? Can anyone confirm or know any information that could help me? Thanks in advance!
256GB microSD works fine with Samsung Galaxy S2 without any additional formatting but a speed of file copying with the device is at about 10MB/s only.
I was not able to test 512GB nor 1TB microSDs but I will be happy if anyone will do it and report about it here.

It is essential that there is a compatibility between the controller on the phone and the controller in the memory.
The size of memory is a secondary matter.
