Samsung Galaxy S7 3D Curved Full Coverage Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung - Samsung Galaxy S7 Accessories

I can vouch for the full body skin from Bestskinsever - really good material (although I wish it was more oleophobic) and sticks well after a couple of days....need to keep pressing the edges to ensure they don't lift initially. I didn't use the top, bottom and sides since I have a case.
However, if you have a case for the back (I got the Spigen Liquid Crystal) it WILL lift the corners. Maybe the " case" version of the skin works better, I got a free replacement as I flagged the corners issue.

So what does a full body skin have to do with full coverage TEMPERED GLASS ??

I was gonna pick up the Amfilm one but tried a generic 2 pack instead. Works pretty well, but there still exists the issue with slight lost of sensitivity on the edges sometimes. I've used with a couple cases and it fits well, even with slight lips. I'll take some photos and post in main tempered glass thread.

I'm using amfilm at the minute and yes there is loss of sensitivity unfortunately. It isn't a massive issue for me as I can feel myself adjusting. The protector is cut very well though with a slight gap around the edges so you can still use a case. I'm using a Spigen rugged armour with no issues at all. It's definitely the best compromise I have found so far.

Tempered Glass Screen Protector

What is the best (quality and cost) tempered glass screen protector for the G3? I previously had an M8 and bought my first ever tempered glass screen protector, Zagg Glass. It was fantastic, looked and felt like there was nothing there and the application process took 20 seconds. However, I'm sure there are other ones out there that are just as good quality wise but far less expensive. Thanks.
I use this one myself and like it a lot. Nice fit, ultra thin, rounded edges, crystal clear and a 9 hardness. Very satisfied with this one.
Orzly
Just perfect
I use one by Pthink. 9H hardness, very clear, and very very smooth coating which does not leave fingerprints or oil! very satisfied with this purchase and was around $12 on amazon. I prefer this one due to the cutouts up top.
Can you please use the long thread already dedicated to this tooic instead of making a New one please...

I recommend Bepak H+ have used it on my G3 and HTC M8
My nano.tr was great for about 3 days. Now its coming up in 2 places
I refuse to buy another Spigen Nano t.r after 5 of them with countless issues. Ive had them stop sticking for no reason, crack without ever dropping my phone and the list goes on.
I bought a Mime ghost glass and its a huge improvement. It also only cost 28 with free shipping from their website. Great screen protector especially compared to Spigen.

Any chance you could post a pic, I ordered one and am anxious to see what it looks like exactly.
I use zagg, and it's amazing. I also have the circle wireless case, and the front flap was not affected in any way.
I just got my pThink screen protector in today. It is a perfect fit. Couldn't be happier with the quality and price. I definitely recommend compared to the ones with the big cutout up top...this just has one for the speaker grill and ambient light sensors.

If there were I would assume the same layer/technique would be applied on the original Gorilla Glass screen as well.
Some do claim they repel finger prints, that's usually just marketing BS though

I've been using a Tech Armor glass screen saver for the last few days and it shows fewer fingerprints than the stock screen. It feels smoother than the regular screen which may have something to do with it. It still gets prints, just not as many and they seem to wipe off easier. Very please with it for $10.

The cutout is for the speaker grill and the proximity sensor etc. It does not have an opening for the front facing camera. I've had it for a few days now and LOVE it. The beveled edge is super smooth on the outside edge and the cutout.

I bought the one carried in the VZW stores and it really cut down on the fingerprint / smudges - I could really tell the difference. But that protector was .4mm thickness and touch sensitivity became an issue for me. So I bought the .2mm iCarez protector. The thickness was just right, but the oleophobic properties are not as good as the VZW protector.
As always, YMMV.
Based on the reviews in this thread I ordered the pThink protector (Free Prime 2-Day shipping FTMFW).
I can't say enough good stuff about this screen protector. It is available on Amazon for around $11(with free prime shipping if you have it). There are a variety of good tempered glass screen protectors. Most of them simply notch out the top near where the speaker, light sensor and proximity sensor are located. This one has a perfectly aligned oval shaped cutout giving it a much more OEM looking appearance. Like most, the edges are pleasantly rounded.
The package is straight forward, complete with requisite chinglish on the outside. The package is generic, saying it includes a 'homer(sic) button' cover. Which doesn't make sense, and sure enough it doesn't include. Opening it up, you see all of the included materials. Nothing outstanding here other than the actual instructions seem to be in normal English! I didn't look closely but I didn't see any chinglish.
Installation is a breeze but good prep ensures success. I cleaned the screen extensively to remove all traces of oil and dust. Since I am a chemist I used chloroform to degrease the screen. I also used it to degrease my fingers (not something I recommend but it works). Once the screen was clean, I applied the tempered glass screen protector by VERY VERY VERY gently lowering it by its sides. I can't stress the very gently enough. If you do it gentle enough it will rest just above the surface and you can use your fingernail to maneuver the screen protector into perfect position. Then just touch down on the screen and watch the "bubble" of bonding spread across the screen, it just drives the air out. The rigidity of the screen protector results in a perfect bubble-free finish. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Once the screen protector was on, I wiped it down with the included microfiber cloth.
Initial impressions? Damn! It's truly crystal clear, I can't seem to find any visual distortion. Touch feels slightly changed due to the oleophobic surface but its clearly glass and feels like a touchscreen. There is ZERO effect on the touchscreen performance. Also, the oleophobic surface DRAMATICALLY reduces the amount of smudges, it doesn't prevent them but its a huge reduction. I have a few pics of the package before installation. Once I cleaned the screen, I lost my camera (my phone is the camera so I couldn't use it). The edges of the screen protector are within fractions of a mm of the display edges. This is necessary to make installation a little easier and to prevent bubbles. I truly could NOT be happier!
I'm really happy with a Bepak one. Rounded edges, smooth, and feels really great to touch. No scratches at all till now with some rough usage.
Although reading the reviews about the pThink one, I'm going to give that a try when something happens to the current Bepak one.

Screen protector

Has anyone found any screen protectors, film, PET, glass, etc. that cover the entire screen correctly? I've already ordered a film one that was all misaligned and didn't cover it well.
I hear that Zagg is coming out with one that's pretty awesome. It supposedly wrap around entirely, front to back.
I must be lucky because I never use a screen protector and have never experienced a broken screen, just use a Otterbox commuter.
I'm also looking for one of the self-healing screen protectors that fits... the ones on Amazon have reviews that say it's cut wrong

Anybody else having issues with SPIGEN?
Don't seem to be sticking at the edges of the protector
I picked up an amFilm glass screen protector -- it's supposed to be full screen coverage.
I think I'll wait on ordering a glass screen protector until someone actually gets one installed and thinks it looks right. I'm wanting an edge to edge one. Even the Amfilm does not mention it's curved or not. Edge to Edge and curved to go to the edges are two different things.

I've found the IQ Shield wet apply to be a decent alternative to tempered glass. Not quite as smooth and clear, but excellent fit and protection.

Second the Skinomi Matte, fits nicely. The Edge display looks a bit different under it, like the skin itself is lighting up not like it's a layer on top of the display. Previously used a tempered glass on my GS5 so this is a big difference. Touch feel of the skin is good. Had to remember how to put on a protector cleanly though, took a couple tries to get it done (but I had budgeted one 'practice' protector to burn).
Haven't noticed a rainbow effect though.
Spigen ones cover the whole screen (not full coverage) and from S6 experiance they are actually slightly wider than the active parts of the screen, unliek most ones I have seen that are exactly the same width as the screen.
Can someone confirm that the front dimesions of S6/S7 are the same? Have some spigen ones left and guessing they will fit exactly the same?

Read both positive and negative ones on the S7 version. Some say perfect fit and some say its peels. Might be some quality control issues on first batches I guess as they were selling way before phone release.

Thats a bit of bad news. I would have expected better from Spigen.
Indeed, i always buy spigen screen/glass protectors but this time they're not very different from others.
Tbh i tried other screen protectors and spigen ones are the best, they don't stick for less than 1mm but it's away from perfect anyway.

Spigen Curved Crystal screen protector?

Hey guys,
I've tried two different glass protectors and theyve both been too narrow for the screen leaving like 1mm of unprotected screen on both sides of the phone.
Just came across this youtube video showing the Spigen Curved Crystal. I cant post links yet so just YouTube search "Spigen Galaxy S7 Crystal Curve Screen Protector Review"
The Amazon listing has alot of positive reviews but theyre mostly biased according to FakeSpot. The weird part is that the youtube review itself shows a pretty good looking screen protector that fills both sides.
Another weird thing is that on Spigen's site it costs 25$ and on Amazon its only 9$ even though its the official Spigen Amazon page.
Anyone tried it or has any info?
I desperately need screen protection thats not completely horrible.
Edit: Sorry, wrong thread.
Screen protectors are collected here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...arching-screen-coverage-glass-screen-t3328181

I just installed mine on Monday after I was dissatisfied with the Zagg HD Dry.
The Zagg had a rubbery feel and showed little gouges/divots that supposedly would self-heal but I just didn't like it. My case is a Spigen Neo Hybrid and I was getting some bubbling near the edges.
So far, I'm liking the Curved Crystal. No issues at all with lift near the case and a nice smooth feel.
There's a very slight green tint that I notice at certain angles. My phone is black which makes it stand out more. I also installed it on my coworkers silver S7 Edge and the green tint isn't as noticeable.
It was a bit tricky to install compared to other protectors I've used since it doesn't go all the way to the top and bottom edge and has the curve on the sides. They recommend using their stickers to hold it in place on the home button while installing. If I would do it again, I'd use two stickers on either side of the home button instead.
Also, they give you two in a package which is nice.
I bought mine through Amazon.
+1 for Spigen curved crystal from Amazon.
Was totally dissatisfied with all the 2.5d glass screen protectors I tried.
While this isn't 100% coverage it offers protection from the scratches that were starting to develop from being in my back pocket (never carried with anything else. Lint/pocket debris will scratch an unprotected s7 screen).
Spigen Curved Crystal HD is the best so far. It is a film and not glass. But it covers the full screen area just not the full front of the phone. The corners, above the top sensors, and below the home button are uncovered. It does adhere to the curved edge nicely and works with my Tech 21 case fine. Glad you get two, as I did get a few fine scratches on it when putting it on (my stupidity).
i have try some ,but they are either creat narrow , or just narrower size
I also ha e installed a spigen curved crystal HD. Nice to the touch but not as nice as glass. I wasn't a fan of the top and bottom cutouts so I cut the protector so it just covers the screen portion of the phone, looks really good besides the one piece of dust and a piece of hair that got trapped under while installing. I used the wet install method, seems to be alot easier than dry install. Other than that I'm liking it so far.

Here's pics of the cut crystal HD I modified to cover just the screen portion of the phone. If I would have made the cuts a little smother it would look even better.

just got this, and it's a really nice protector. i'm just dumb and suck at putting them on lately, so of course i got some dust under it, and after like my 5th time of peeling up a corner to remove dust, one portion towards the middle of the phone won't stick to the phone anymore, so i must have slightly bent the protector or something, bc it's a small line that just looks like a bubble, as it won't go flat. but other than that, this protector is great. fits the curved edges, no bubbling around the edges like every other one, and it seems really thin. works with my tscase leather case, but i wanna try it with my spigen neo hybrid to make sure it doesn't lift up the edges. if it does with their own brand case, then thats BS lol

Works perfect with the Neo Hybrid. No lifting or creasing. Just be careful if you gear vr if you put it into fast it can push the protector. I use that and the spigen plastic case case.

I haven't tried vr yet but I tried it in the hybrid.. it works but if you like slightly squeeze the side of the case, you can see some bubbling occur, so even their own cases will slightly lift it.

Best full coverage tempered glass screen protectors?

Hi all,
I'm looking for a good glass screen protector that covers the whole screen (usually they are ones with a black or white border), but I'm really struggling to find good makes. I tried a protector from LK, but the glass was pretty cloudy and had a 'rainbow' effect raising our from the centre of the protector, it also turned out to be a disaster to remove, with the strong adhesive leaving adhesive marks and shattered glass as I tried to remove it!
Anyone else had any experience with other protectors and could make a recommendation?
I tried the 2 from Nillkin, but only one had full coverage with black edges. The glass was fine, but the edges looked cheap and tacky.
There is a video of full screen glass on YT and the guy that posted the video has posted videos here (unofficial Huawei), but he's just a shill and has no interest in answering questions, just promoting products.

A friend of mine got this brand, he got it from china, it's called called smartdevil, although it's only a OEM brand, anyway, it includes a frame for accurate placement of the protector, full coverage glass protector with about 1/2mm rim to accommodate a case, liquid filler to fill up the sids rim.
no link will be provided unless you intend to flight to china to buy it, just to let you know they are available so may be some searching you can find it online or similar item since it's only a oem product.
I also had a horrible experience with the LK screen protector. Rainbow effect in the middle and really annoying adhesive at the top and bottom. The transparent screen itself was also not very clear.
I then switched to an OMOTON brand one and it is amazing! Fingerprint and smudge resistant. Fits perfectly, full coverage across the screen. Looks sturdy. Cutouts perfect. Only downside is that it ends a bit short at the top and bottom, so still exposed there unless you use a case with a lip.
Avoid LK, and give the OMOTON one a try.

I got my OMOTON screen protector from Amazon (prime delivery - fulfilled by Amazon). You're right, it isn't full coverage (smaller than LK's one). But its close enough to full coverage if you have a tpu case that has a good lip.
Yesterday I got my Omoton tempered glass (Amazon.co.uk), and I am dissatisfied - the glass does not fit properly on the display (air space on both sides)...
This is Nillkin's. Similar size* but adheres perfectly (sorry for crap picture).
I also tried their 3D version (full screen) but it makes the phone look very cheap.

What was it about the 3D version you felt looked cheap? Was it easy to remove the screen protector?
Right now I'm using the GhostShield by TechGear. They are relatively cheap and difficult to install, but after watching a video on installing them, it was a little easier. They are extremely thin - almost invisible and are self healing, but any dust caught under the protector will result in a bumpy surface. I'm also not entirely sure how great the protection is they offer. My Ringke Fusion case started lifting the to corners of the protector, but I think I stretched the protector (really easy to do with a membrane protector this thin!) slightly as I tried to get the bubbles off the surface.
Still looking for the best solution to protect my screen...

The plastic borders. It was very easy to remove as the plastic borders don't really have much in the way of adhesive.
I will try a Cafele next, when I can be bothered to order one.
Just got both of these two delivered from www.taobao.cn
first one is a anti blue ray with installation frame for exact right positioning and liquid filler for those air gaps along the edges of the protector, the second one is a normal tempered glass protector as a two piece package with the same accessories.

Could you share full link, please? Would like to buy one for mom Thank you
I got Omoton full coverage tempered glass but i am afraid its not compatible with silicone cases? It is good screen protector but sadly not ideal for cases.
It looks like cases lift screen protector on edges slightly so air gets underneath... Any good screen protectors that are not full coverage so i can still use case?
I bought the nilkin glas but the black borders around the screen protector takes a lot of screen space, I don't recommend it!

Benks have a really good one, it's a full coverage with white or black boarder (adhesive covers throughout the whole glass, not just the edges), just like those on the iphone, it curves and cover the edges.
Benks have two version, KR PRO this is also full coverage, glass & plastic sided and XPro+ full glass coverage.
I am using the Benks XPro+ full glass cover and I think it's great. It's a 3D glass screen protector, covers the screen perfectly, right to the edges, with no air bubles. Also it has an oleophobic coating.

Supershieldz Tempered Glass Screen Protector

My current phone is a Nexus 6P and I have been using a Spigen case + an intelliArmor tempered glass screen protector. Both products are excellent and I have been thrilled with them (and the phone), but the battery is starting to go on me so I figured it was time for a replacement. After some research I settled on the XZP (G8142).
I was able to order the Spigen case for the XZP, but intelliArmor does not make a screen shield (that I can find), so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Supershieldz before.
I looked at getting the Skinomi skin and just using the part for the screen along with the Spigen case, but I really prefer tempered glass.
Looking forward to my first Xperia phone!
** UPDATE **
The protector, phone, and case all came in. The Spigen case is top notch as expected, as is the phone itself.
The screen protector is also fantastic. I tried putting it on the recommended way (using the guide stickers), but I could never get the right alignment using this method. I ended up free-handing it and lining it up as best I could, and I think I got within a half millimeter or so of a perfect application (the bottom is perfect, the top speaker is slightly off but not enough to be annoying or obstruct the speaker). There were absolutely no air bubbles to smooth out, which surprised me.

Is the adhesive just on the edges of the Tempered Glass? Is there some oil-like residue between the screen and glass?
I purchased a very similar Tempered Glass protector to the Supershieldz version and found the adhesive is just on the edges, top/bottom/left and right but the entirety of the screen, where the border is not is free to flex and obviously, with the gap that exists without adhesion has an odd oil-like residue, which many users reported.
I have had my XZP for a week now and have not even used it because I want a proper Tempered Glass protector which has received good reviews, along with a folio/wallet/flip case which has a strong latch/magnet to protect the phone overall, along with waiting for a DRM/TA fix before I stop using the Z5P and move onto my XZP.

Mine has the glue on the edges but there's no oil or anything in the middle.
It looks very similar to the Supershieldz one, might even be a rebrand. It's under the brand name "Panzer Glass".
It works pretty much flawlessly.

The one I purchased is very similar also, but has the cut-out where you can see the Sony 'logo'. Reviews are poor for those, everyone has observed the same issues as myself. I have purchased several other Tempered Glass Protectors, still waiting for them to arrive, different styles and brands to see which is the best fit with the best coverage. I will report back.

I didn't actually notice if the adhesive was along the edges or the entire piece of glass, but it seemed like the whole piece had adhesive when I peeled off the protective plastic before applying.
I have been using the phone with the protector for about two weeks and here are my observations:
I have moved my thumbs with ample pressure across the face of the protector to see if the glass shifts or moves. It hasn't budged.
No oily residue or weird artifacts.
The fit is quite nice. Without a case, the edges would be noticeable, but with the Spigen case on you can hardly tell there is a screen protector.
In bright/direct sunlight or when you hold the phone in bright light just right you will see a grid of dots on the LCD screen - I don't know if this is because of the protector or the screen itself. It doesn't bother me as it is not noticeable the majority of the time.
My account is too new to link to external sites, so just search supershieldz xperia xz premium on Amazon and it should come up.

Appreciate the feedback. I have just taken possession of a Muvit Tempered glass, it is clear without any borders but just the same as the rest. Everyone I have tried thus far has adhesive only on the edges, the larger portion of the screen is free to flex and move and due to that, requires a firmer press and in doing so, you hear a crisp packet like noise, a sort of crunching sound. Really annoying me now, but it is due to the curvature of the screen that we are seeing a lack of good quality glass protectors. For the Z5P I found P-Think on Amazon to be the best, yet to find any suitable candidates for the XZP.
I will order a double pack of Supershieldz soon.
