Help - Blackview BV6000 hard bricked after downgrade - MTK6755 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello there,
I need some help right now. I got a bv6000 not long ago, and I hard bricked it :crying:.
Because of some problems on the last 20161025 firmware, I tried to downgrade my phone :silly:.
So I flashed with, SPFlashTool, the "20160608_s12v55_jk_3m" firmware over the "20161025" which was installed. A successful process according to FlashTool, but my phone didn't boot after this . I could only get a black screen no matter what I did and no PC or FlashTool detection.
Eventually I disassemble my phone to unplug the battery. After all, with the "power + volume up" key pressed, I could get my phone detected by my pc and SPFlashtool. But the Port connected is MTK USB PORT (COM7) and not the expected Preload USB VCOM PORT (which was working during the first flash) .
I tried to flash the "20160608_s12v55_jk_3m" firmware again anyway :silly: .....I got a red bar "DA Downloading in process (100%) .... and after a few second a failed message
Code:
BROM ERROR : STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (0xC0050005)
[HINT]:
I'm stuck there. Do you think there is any chance for my Blackview ?
Thank's

found a workaround for me.... maybe it works for you as well......
so i used sp flash tool v.5.1644 (linux) and the offical Blackview firmware 20160822-s12v55_jk_3m
open flashtool and go to the FORMAT area
select Auto Format Flash.... EXEPT bootloader and press play
plugin your phone holding the Volume Up button
( "By keeping the Vol-Up button pressed while you plug in the USB you activate the "Meta-Mode" which is kind of bypassing the regular download-mode. Its a kind of backdoor the Mediatek-Developers integrated in case of a bricked rom.
The Chipset is missing the original preloader, thats why its not getting recognised anymore." qoute from the blackview forum)
is successfull, plug off your phone
go to the flash tool DOWNLOAD area
load the scatter.txt from the original firmware i mentioned above
select only the PRELOADER.bin
select the DOWNLOAD ONLY option, press DOWNLOAD and plug in your phone holding the Volume up button
if finished plug off your phone
Select all files for download, download only, press download and plug in your phone holding the Volume up button again
wait till finished, plug off your phone and restart it......
hope it works for you as well !!!!

Hey,
Thank's for your help. I've been able to flash following your steps.
I successfully format, flash preloader and flash all. But my phone still doesn't boot, nothing happen when I press power button.
I tried format all + download and it has been going correctly. But still no power-on.
However, I now getting MTK preloader detected by the PC.
EDIT : My Bad, it's working.
My battery was dead. I let my phone plug in for a couple of minutes and it finally comes up.
Thanks a lot for your help, I'm glad to have my phone back

Thanks for this..
I don't suppose you can give me a clue as to how to unclip the battery inside the phone. I've seen the YouTube video on this but it seems that you have to lift up the mother board to get to the clip. Is that correct? (on the BV6000)
I'm still waiting for the tools from ebay to do this myself. '

You can see all part connector after you open the back case, you just pull the connector using plastic tools or fingernail.
what tools are you buying, IMO you dont need spesific tools for opening this phone, only screw driver and torch screw m5 and m4 (i guess).

For the BV6000 the back screws are 1.5mm hex. The side screws are T5 Torx (they're a star shape).
The hex is easy to come by but the Torx (whilst widely available on the web) aren't so common in hardware stores without buying a whole kit. Electronics shops tend to sell as a kit as well.
The screwdriver for the sim cover comes with the phone, as does the screwdriver for the small rubber seals.
I'm confident I can fix it, just have to wait for the T5 Torx to get the side bars off.

Bricked your Newsmy Newpad T3? Then lets Un-Brick it

So I bought this cheap tablet off of ebay and after about a week I connected it into the charger and forgot to unplug it.. Only next morning I saw and when I disconnected it it had turned off. So I turned it on and it was stuck in the newsmy logo and wasn't booting up.
There was nothing on the internet, but somehow I got it working again and for everybody's sake I'm posting what I did here.
First off, even though there are some references that this has allwinner A10 inside, ITS NOT. you will brick this if you flash an allwinner variant kernal.
If you are one of those brave souls who flashed on a allwinner kernals and bricked the thing, you would not be able to go to download mode even. Here is the steps to flash a fresh rom that would resolve most of issues:
1. Download driver pack from the attachment of this post
2. Download RKBatchTool here: http://www.x-drivers.com/catalog/fl...s_electronics/models/rk_batch_tool/27576.html..
3. Now turn off your tablet. If it doesn't turn off press a needle head into the reset pinhole and hold it for 5 seconds
4. Open device manager from your computer
5. Then hold the power on button and volume up(that is the one closer to power button) until it turns on. It'll boot your tab in download mode. After the green robot icon appears connect it to the computer by carefully monitoring device manager of computer
*** If you have flashed an allwinner or other rockchip kernal based ROM earlier and do not go in to download mode or no new device installation in your PC there's a real possibility your download mode combination may have changed. Turn it off by pressing needle to reset pinhole. Then turn off and connect it to PC. Then turn it on and then while in boot screen hold volume up. if not try similar procedure by holding volume down or back buttons. If you see driver installation in the PC and nothing in the tablets screen, thats fine. You can continue with the flasing
6. The driver installation probably will fail. Identify which device that is newly added to the device manager.
7. Right click on the device -> Update Driver. Then manually select -> Have disk then give rockusb file from drivers you just downloaded(if your system is 64-bits use files in amd-64 folder)
8. Then select RK29 as the device and update the driver
9. Now extract and run RKBatchTool and you must see under connected devices button #1 highlighted in green
10. Download official ROM here: http://220.168.57.227:1949/cunchu/20120312T3youhuaruanj.rar
There are other ROMs for T3 here as well. But this is the only thing that works
11. Extract it and give its update.img file path to RKBatchTool FW Path
12. Hit Restore
13. Wait few minutes for flash to complete
14. Then the tab will restart once or twice and will start booting up. This process should take maybe 5 minutes or more. Be patient
15. Then it'll finally boot.
I will post a Jelly Bean ROM for this tab here as soon as I cook one
Comments are much appreciated
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Was searching for a guide to get my brothers Newsmy Newpad T3 up and running.
Thank you for this guide. will definitely try it out and leave a feedback.
P.S. Jellybean sounds interesting.
OK. After spending two days I finally got it to detect the Newsmy Newpad T3.
I had to install Android SDK for the USB drivers. (Don't know if it detected from that.)
Then downloaded super one click root. Found the android drivers in it, and when it asked which driver you want to install I gave "Android Composite" not sure but something in those lines.
Successfully rooted it.
Then off the tab and connect the USB cable, press power and volume up (one that is near the power) and when the tab boots
If it asked for drivers please do same as above
Now run the firmware installer provided inside the update.img folder that you downloaded from the original post by suki300me step 10. It is in Chinese and the first option is to change it to English found on the bottom screen.
If everything is set your tab will be in a black screen only thing you know is that it is on is the sound windows 7 makes when the phone is connected to it. Choose the udate .img file and press upgrade.
It will run up to 3-4 stages and will say data copy error. Remove the cable and press power, it will star installing ICS give it few minutes and you are done.
It took me many attempts so don't give up if it didn't work on your first try. Hope this helps someone.
Boot
Hi
I get one newsmy t3 tablet from my friend. The only problem the system is never loaded (stuck at the boot). I try the power+volume up but just the black screen appaers. Btw only turns on when its plugged. Please give me some tips.

[Q] Freelander PX2 Bricked?

Hi all
Today I received my freelander px2. I tried to follow the instructions posted here http://www.pandawillforum.com/showt...-PX2-MTK8389-Quad-Core-(update-Sep-6th-2013)/ to flash the device to the latest clean ROM. I got to the "Download" stage. I clicked the "Download" button and connected my Freelander PX2 with the USB cable.
I was having some issues making Windows 7 actually pick up the "MTK" device and load the correct driver. So I was playing around with the drivers and disconnecting and reconnecting the Freelander PX2 (Whilst leaving the Flash tool on DOWNLOAD mode, which was waiting for me to connect the Freelander PX2)
I must have reconnected it several times in the process of trying to make Windows 7 recognise the device. When I looked at the flash tool I noticed it had got to around 57% with the progress bar and stopped. I can only assume I managed to get the MTK drivers installed correctly at some point but tablet didn't really tell me new software was being uploaded to it. So basically I didn't know the flash tool was sending the new software to the tablet when I must have disconnected it during the process.
I can only assume I've interrupted the NAND flash process? When I try to reconnect the tablet now, it says "USB Device Not Recognized". There doesn't seem to be much support anywhere on the internet for this specific device or issue.
I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds.. nothing happens
I've tried holding the power button plus volume up button for 30 seconds.. nothing happens
There's also no USB disconnect sound when I hold the power button down? Surely a hard reset should trigger a USB disconnect sound in Windows.
What are my options at this stage? Is it completely dead?
EDIT: Ok, this was a bit strange. I left it yesterday morning and declared it dead. Today I woke up, switched my computer on and plugged it in using a different USB cable and the driver was automatically installed as "MTK preloader". I didn't try to switch the device on yet though, as I wasn't sure if it being recognized was by chance. I didn't ask questions. I just immediately started up the flash tool, hit "download" and re-plugged the USB cable. This time the software finished upload with 100% and a green circle. Then it automatically disconnected from the computer. I hit the power button and it needed some time to charge again (maybe it drained itself last time). A few minutes later the OS booted completely fine. I don't know which one of those things made it worked, the new USB cable or leaving it to discharge for a day.. I just don't know. I'm not taking any chances though, the USB cable is being binned.
Have you flashed the CWM recovery for the px2 yet?
What do you think about the new firmware? I think its alot snappier than the old one. The CWM recovery works a treat (but you have no usb cable lol ) so you cant flash it. If you do want to put the recovery on it, let me know i can help. Cheers
PX2 Bricked
Hi,
Glad you got yours working :good:
I have exactly the same problem and now mine is not reconised :crying:
How long does the flashing actually take ?
When I connected it again this morning it it reconised it and the flash toll started to work.
The green bar and red bars both went to 100% then nothing after 5 mons so I unplugged it.
Now its bricked again :crying:
Any advice guys please ?
Reset
Hi mate sorry to here of your problems. Try pressing the little button between the sim slots, if that doesnt work, press volume + and then power button and keep pressed until it starts. When you flashed it did you get the green circle at the end?
If you get it recognized again do this: ENSURE YOU HAVE FULL BATTERY AND DO NOT INTERUPT THE FLASHING
1/ Start tablet and connect usb data cable, ensure it is connected as Media device (MTP).
2/ Unpack PX2_PC_24-10-13 update to a folder of your choice.
3/ Start Flash tool and click scatter loading on the right, and go to your unpacked folder you made earlier and select MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc check ALL boxes at the bottom are selected.
4/ Now click on downlod button, then switch off tablet. It will either ask to load drivers or start the flashing process.Wait until you see the green circle.
5/ Restart tablet. ENJOY
If you want to put clockwork recovery on it do the following:
1/ Download Freelander_PX2_130717_CWM_recovery.img in post #162 at pandawill put it in a folder and copy MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc from the folder above to the same folder.
2/ Start tablet and connect usb data cable, ensure it is connected as Media device (MTP).
3/ Start Flash tool and click scatter loading on the right, and go to your Freelander_PX2_130717_CWM_recovery.img folder you made earlier and select MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc only recovery option should be checked. Dont worry about the red writing.
4/ Click download and switch off tablet, dont worry about the warning just go ahead anyway, it will only take a couple of seconds and you should see the green circle again.
5/ To check it worked press vol+ and power button to get to recovery ( should be blue text ) if it is congrats you have clockwork recovery.
6/ Enjoy your tablet
Hi,
Thanks for your help but I fear it may be terminal,as when I plug the usb in now I get nothing.
gonna try on a different computor later.
If that fails I fear my PX2 will be leaving via the upstairs window
---------- Post added at 04:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:57 PM ----------
Well it wont even charge now !
I wonder if this could mean a hardware problem or a software not sure ?
Any Ideas guys ?
:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
PX2 revival
Hi bazza500, try pressing the reset button between the sim slots it has saved me a couple of times when i thought i had bricked mine.
If you go to the pandawill forum under MTK tablets you will find a thread there dealing with an updated by users flashable firmware with cwm recovery.
Then later if you get it up and running there is a solution to extend the internal memory from 1Gb to 2Gb which reduces the storage by 1Gb. Hope you get it running buddy. Cheers
A few tips
Windows 7 has a glitch where by if the path has Chinese characters in it the flash tool with crash/error. Extract everything to your desktop and delete the chinese characters in the folder names.
Also there's a driver error in Windows 7. Make sure you use the driver install tool to install the MTK drivers. Also make sure the driver is installed and the tablet is recognised before you run the flash tool. That's the error I made, I tried to get the drivers installed whilst running the flash tool and the firmware started flashing when I hadn't realized.
Unlike Samsung and Apple, most Chinese devices don't give you a fancy progress bar on the device. There's almost no feedback the tablet or phone being flashed in most cases.
Thanks for the help guys................
Got my replacement today but have hooked it up to updrade and there was about 3 x colours went to 100% on progress bar now nothing for 15 mins !
Is this normal ?
Well a massive fail again.
Gonna send thos one back and get my money back.
Always a bad idea to by cheap o suppose u het what u pay for.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Ok been awhile but I now have a new one and managed to upgrade the rom.
Only one problem I keep losing phone signal ?
Any ideas?

To get Sony's UI/ROM back:
Download and Install Flashtool from here.
Download a proper ( official ) ftf firmware for YOUR phone ( eg Sirius ).
Now copy the downloaded ftf firmware file to ( C:\Flashtool\firmwares )
Open the Flashtool and click on the little lightning rod and choose Flashmode.
Now a window will pop up and ask you to choose firmware for your device, Choose the one you downloaded and click flash.
--------Choosing a wrong one WILL further brick your device--------
Meanwhile, turn your phone completely off, To do this hold the Power button and the volume UP button until you feel your phone vibrate 3 times.
Flashtool will pop up saying you need to put your phone into flash/fastboot mode.
Now put it on fastboot/flash mode ( connect the usb to your computer and hold down the volume up button while plugging the other end to your phone. Your phone's LED should be blue at this stage.
The flashing process will start and once it's done, Flashtool will ask you to unplug the device and restart the phone.
The first boot takes 5-10 minutes.. CONGRATS YOU HAVE UN-BRICKED YOUR PHONE.
Now if you want to root your phone and install a custom recovery ( TWRP ), Download this package and extract it on your desktop
Make sure you have usb debugging turned on ( on your phone )
Navigate inside " to root" folder and run install.bat
Once thats done, to install recovery, navigate inside the " recovery folder " and run install.bat
Make sure to follow on-screen instructions. ( your computer and your phone )

Bricked Sony Xperia Z3v (D6708)

Hello,
I have recently made a horrible mistake, I flashed the incorrect ROM on my Xperia Z3v leaving the phone bricked. I am asking for your help. I have tried using the Flashtool but I am not certain if it's the phone or I that is causing a mistake. The steps thus far that I have followed.
Downloaded: Flashtool & Drivers
Installed: Drivers for Xperia Z3v
Downloaded: Firmware from XperiFirm
Now, the issue next is nothing shows up in my firmware when I attempt to flash. I have checked the source folder the .ftf files are there.
Furthermore:
When I hold VOL UP and plug in the USB>Blue led is indicated
When I hold VOL DOWN and plug in USB>Red flashes with a second of green whilst vibrating
Found this video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtaUxuorVSA
Exactly like this, checked for a solution seems like he repaired it via sony. Unfortunately for me I don't have that luxury.
**Update**
I installed the lastest release of flashtool (0.9.22.2) but it occurred to me to revert back to the previous release (0.9.18.6)
Now I can finally see the firmware but I am still having issues actually flashing the file. I get errors such as:
ERROR - root : this bundle is not valid
ERROR - Cannot delete C:\Users\Juan\.flashTool\firmwares\prepared\userdata.sin
**More Information**
I should include I am on a locked bootloader
same
that seem the same with my situation

Okay the green light is flash mode / upgrade mode. The blue light is fast boot. You want it on with the green light on to flash it once it's bricked. You can't flash it using fast boot mode because the boot loader isn't unlocked.
Now what you have to do is get it with the green light on and then the drivers installed.
Can't delete the file means that it had error while trying to flash and all that you have to do is restart the app and that goes away.
Now for the next problem is that I had this one and what I did to fix it is that I had to reinstall the drivers because those weren't correct and I did reinstalled it and it all worked good. Thanks.
Download the correct firmware for your phone (model and Country).
Use flashtool to install it on your phone
Works with a locked bootloader, no need for USB debugging.
The first error might be you ended up downloading the incorrect or incomplete firmware
I had the exact problem that you are having. I ended re downloading the flashtool a few times from various computers and then i got it to work. I figured when i downloaded it the first time i had a version that was to old/new. Or a bad connectiin when i downloaded it first time. After i downloaded flashtool again itthwn worked without issue just as it should. Whatever the provlem was for me was having to do with the download or version i downloaded wouldnt work completely. I think my internet connection when i downloaded it wasnt very good and maybe didnt download it right.
I made the same mistake too, trying to flash a z3 zip file. Then I got to run around my home city to find help. Then there's a guy. He had to open the back cover and connect directly to the circuit board in order to do something about the eMMC and SEtool or... something, I'm not sure. The phone is alive again! (costed quite a lot for a student, but... yay?). Funny though, he said the circuit board is similar to a z2 and not a z3. Maybe you could find someone who knows about these kinds of thing. Hope that help.

That's strange were you on a locked bootloader?
Currently attempting to fix it once more, will update if I find anything out.

Yeah, I think? I mean, it's right out of the box. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that the guy had to use SEtool twice to get mobile signal.
Did you fix the problem? I have the same problem now.
With a Z3v. D6708. I have a problem, got a wrong ROM, the flashee and now not start the phone in any way. The only way to start is "System Recovery" volume + power, which has 4 options: 1. "Continue Power UP", 2. "Safe mode", 3. "Factory Reset" and 4. "Power Down". The thing is try from flashtool but when I give "volume down" and connect the computer does not recognize. When light it even reaches the boot animation. When I give power with USB cable is connected in a loop is vibrating and shows red, blue and green.
I have exactly the same problem of the youtube video.
As it could fix the problem?
Some help ?
Thank you !
Pd. The device only have FastBoot.
did u solve this?

Hello,
I have recently made a horrible mistake, I flashed the incorrect ROM on my Xperia Z3v leaving the phone bricked.
I should include I am on a locked bootloader

got solved? me to have same problem
Bricked for days!
Is anyone still following this thread. I have the same problem after trying to install MIUI 6 on my rooted unlocked TWRP'd Xperia z3V. After the MIUI installation I have nothing but the symptoms below.
Not able to get into flashmode
No screen or bootup
No recovery
Symptoms:
1 -When plugged into PC or wall it only blinks RED/GREEN light and vibrates.
2 -Holding POWER the light turns and stays GREEN until released (then returns to #1)
3 -Holding POWER + VOLUME UP BLUE light stays on and puts phone in Fastboot mode
4 -Holding POWER + VOLUME DOWN does nothing (continues to do #1)
Please Help!!!
Google Sony Developers. Try to unlock your bootloader.
Sent from my D6708 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I think the phone will reject the command. Tried on a bricked z3v and that's the response I get from fastboot with the Sony commands given through the developer aite.

The phone is not and most likely never will be bootloader unlocked. Planning to buy for another phone is your only option.
I've already moved to a tmo note 4. Not much development there either, but it's nice. Miss the z seires though and may come back to it next year. We'll see how they fair with phones for the next few months state side abs if prices even out on the x or z5.
I fixed mine
I bricked my phone it was just a paper weight Email Me I will make u a video step by step instructions to fix it

Unless you're going to post a link or YouTube video we all have access to, wouldn't bother asking people for direct email addresses to send them. That's the reason for PM'S and the forum on general. If you have a fix, we'd all like to know what it is you were able to do that none of us have figured out.
Need to Load Stock ROM

[GUIDE] Flash Stock Rom/Firmware On Alcatel POP UP (6044D)

Hi, This guide is made for flashing Alcatel OneTouch POP UP (6044D). This won't work on any other device. This guide is very simple. If your device has been soft BRICKED or Hard BRICKED this is the way to restore it.
THE FIRMWARE PROVIDED IN THIS THREAD DEOS NOT BELONG TO ME
I AM NOT RESPONSABLE OF ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE BECAUSE OF THIS GUIDE, DO NOT TELL ME THAT YOUR DEVICE HAS BEEN BRICKED
What you will need
1: PC/ Laptop
2: Miracle Box (Link given down the thread)
3: Qualcomm Drivers
4: The Device
And some knowledge
So Let's start.
Link for Firmware:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByQqd_psFzvxSEJ1OUpxSFFtRW8/view
Link for Miracle Box:
Link will be available tomorrow
First download QUALCOMM drivers, it's very essential or your PC won't detect it.
Download Miracle box (PROVIDED in the THREAD). The miracle Box has been cracked so it does not need a dongle. Make sure to turn off the antivirus otherwise the Antivirus will delete it:crying:
Download the FIRMWARE of the device, I have tried other Firmware with different tools but this was the only one that worked, my device was also Hard BRICKED, so the FIRMWARE is tested. Also I have tried other guides provided online but neither of them worked for me, Flashing it with QFIL Will lead to an error or an Unfinished flash.
When everything is installed.
[PHOTOS ARE INCLUDED ONE THE BOTTOM OF THE THREAD]
Open Miracle Box, Click on QUALCOMM, Then on Flashing, There you will see two option "Write Flash" and "Custom Flasher", so Click on "custom Flasher". Then choose "File to Write".
Also choose Partion(s) that you want to Flash. e.g. System.img so choose system as Partion and system.img as file to Write.
Once all of this is done, boot the device into edl mode, yes, 6044D has edl mode.
HOW TO
So to boot into edl there are two ways to boot into it. First is through recovery mode (stock) or TWRP etc... So if you have a recovery then navigate to reboot to bootloader in recovery, when pressing power button to choose it, press volume + and - at the same time start pressing home button two to three time. and then will turn dark black or back with backlight turned on.
This one is for without recovery, in case you don't have a recovery then, press power, volume + - and home button at the same time, the phone will start and will show boot logo, keep pressing it till it restarts, (When restarting press the home button multiple time) and it will go in edl.
(But in my case, I had to do it multiple time to get to edl mode)
Back to PC. Plug the USB to the device and the PC then Press port button, if it doesn't detect it, it means that it's not in edl mode, try again
When all is set press start, ( everything said on the upper paragraph must be done quickly or it will give an error ) so be quick:good:
Once the partition is flashed, do the same one by one with the whole rom, mainly system, boot, recovery etc... (When doing it you don't need to reboot and come back in edl mode)
WHEN FLASHING DO NOT REMOVE THE USB PORT! OR IT WILL LEAD TO EVEN WORSE CONDITION, JUST DON'T
Reboot and enjoy!
If you have any problems or questions ask me, give a thanks, that keep me motivated:silly:
Some stock rom screenshots are attached,
Another thing is that of you have a custom recovery for Alcatel pop up 6044D, like TWRP, CWM or Philz recovery, so please send it to me
