random restarting - Wileyfox Swift 2 Questions & Answers

So recently my swift 2 plus has started randomly restarting when I'm doing stuff on my phone. I haven't changed any settings or installed any new apps so I'm not quite sure what is causing this. Has anyone else experienced the same problem and has anyone got a fix for it?

This could be caused after several OTAs. I'd try getting into Cyanogen's Recovery mode (while the phone is off, press and hold Vol- button, then hit the power button a few seconds until it vibrates without stopping holding the Vol- button, and once the Cyanogen Recovery pops-up, stop holding it), and from there do a Factory reset.
If that doesn't solve the issue, I'd contact whichever store sold you the phone to get a replacement ... (Or, opening the bootloader and flashing the latest stock rom image via fastboot, but, I'd not unlock the bootloader at this point if the phone is broken for any reason)

[Q] Viewpad 10s problem

Hello everyone.
Searching the forum I couldn't find a similar problem
I have installed the Rom Manager, and installed the CWM recovery Rom manager that is required. When I clicked the Backup Current ROM, that's when my problems started. Tablet reboots, turned on the screen as if it will boot and then shuts down. From that moment have I never managed to get further than the black screen.
I tried to connect tablet to the computer and enter the APX (press and hold, vol- and power button, or vol+ and power button or press and hold BACK and power button), but the computer does not recognize tablet at all. No birds, just nothing, screen just power up, and than shut down...
I even tried opening the tablet and removing the connector from the battery, but that didn't work too...
Has anyone had similar experiences and if anyone has an idea how to fix it?

hatka flashed issue

i recently tried to flash hatka battery life after reading a guide, saying it was okay to flash the rom first now i am stuck with my droid dna not being able to turn off and only restarting. can someone please help me i am able to get to lockscreen and settings but the screen is black and i get android htcdialer has stopped when it opens. whenever i try to adb it says error
If your phone is frozen on a particular screen, keep holding down the power button, you will see your bottom 3 icons flash repeatedly, Keep holding the power button until it powers off (restarts), the hold time varies-sometimes you need to repeat this process. Once off (actually restarting), hold the volume down key in and it will re boot into fastboot/recovery, you can scroll to recovery and then restore (hope you have a backup)

Help!my phone brÄ°cked and broke power button

Hi. I am desperate. Two weeks ago I had to remove the power button of my S3 because the phone kept rebooting.
Now, I installed a ROM that ended into bootloops, so I need to enter into recovery mode. With the power button, this would be easy, however since I don't have it, I don't know what to do. I installed Boeffla kernel and Validus ROM when I got the boot loop.
To turn the phone on, what I did was to remove the battery, put it again, and then plug the phone for one second and unplug it. I tried pressing down volume + home while doing that, and it doesn't change anything. The pone will simply try to boot the ROM.
Is there any way to enter into recovery mode without a power button? Otherwise, I will have to throw my precious S3 to the trash, and I definitely not want that! Please help!
Thanks in advance.
Install adb on your computer and type
adb reboot recovery
or
use a needle to press the power button along with volume up and home button, yes it is possible I have tried it
or
fix the power button, it cost me 2 Canadian dollars so it's probably the best option (yes on a Samsung store)

how to boot into recovery mode through pc ?

Hi,
I own galaxy s3 i9000, currently on custom rom. My phone automatically rebooted and got stuck on bootloop. If I am able to enter in recovery mode, i can wipe cache(which may can help to get out of bootloop). But the problem is I am unable to enter into recovery mode because phone's volume up button is not working and my phone auto reboots every time after power off or reinserting battery. Is there any other way to clear cache or enter into recovery mode?
I dont want to flash my stock rom via odin (because i didnt backup my some important apps and msgs), this will be my last option.
sorry for my bad english
The normal way I get my phone into recovery mode from the PC is using ADB and the command: "adb reboot recovery". However, I bet this won't work in your case for one of several possible reasons: depending on when the bootloop occurs in the boot process, the phone may never reach a point where ADB is able to see your phone in the first place; if this is happening after a flashing a new custom ROM, then also it's unlikely that USB debugging is turned and the PC is not yet authorized to connect with it over ADB.
Another thought, could your power button be stuck down? I had a GS3 SCH-I535 several years ago and the power switch went bad on it, it would keep rebooting, shutting down randomly, or I'd be unable to turn on the screen. I had a switch replaced and it was fine after that. I don't think it's normal for the phone to automatically boot up when you reinsert the battery, that's why I bring that up. Maybe you can wiggle the power button a bit and try to unstick it if that's the case.
I tried to remove and stick back the power button again, but still it didnt worked. By the way fixing power button will not help me to get into recovery mode as my phone's volume up button is also not working, and recently I found out that I cant enter into download mode too because when I press respective buttons (volume down + home + power) for download mode, it gives warning msg to click 'volume up' buttton to enter into download mode or 'volume down' to reboot. Therefore again volume up button is required to enter into download mode too. So the only option remained for me is to visit service center and fix the volume up button.

Bootloop in recovery mode - Volume down stuck

Hi everyone,
Here's my first message on the forum ever and i'd have liked it to be for another reason but that's a call for help.
I just got back from my sister her OnePlus X that she dropped into the pool hoping that I could fix it for her.
The phone is stuck into a bootloop in recovery mode. I tried to install the latest official rom, wipe the cache and data and also reset factory the phone, nothing does.
Actually i found out that if i were not trying to start the phone for some times (count it in weeks) it would start and will be working just fine.
Until it powers off. As soon as it is off, the bootloop starts again.
I think that when she dropped it into water it might have oxydated the volume down button, which is not working anyway and controls the boot into recovery.
Do you have any idea on how to unstuck this button or how to prevent the phone from booting into recovery while the volume down button is stucked.
Thank you in advance, and while waiting for your answers, i wish u a pleasant day all.
Valentin
The temporary solution is this:-
In recovery before hitting boot system, just press your volume up key. The phone will not boot up. Now press power button for 10seconds and then once you see oneplus logo hit volume up.
You will see normal boot screen.
Mind that during entire process the volume down button was continuously pressed. I would suggest you to take phone to nearest service center.
