What are you running? Best 7.1.1 ROM/Kernel Combo Feb. 2017 [Poll] - Nexus 6P General

What are YOU running?
Hello everyone, there's a lot of good ROMs and Kernels out there and sometimes it's tough to choose which ones to use. I've tried nearly all of them so I'm curious which ones have attracted the most attention and use. If I've missed any please link them in the comments below.

Faster kernel daily release, Uber ROM magisk stock kernel settings about 5-6 hours SOT
I am also using XANA extreme battery saving profile through akt app.

Stock ROM + flar2 kernel = profit ?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA-Developers Legacy app

RR ROM is my long time favorites massive UI customizations.
RR ROM + Elite Kernel + Viper4Android = my combo.
:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

There is already a thread for this FYI. Lol

Where's the poll?

Our threads are similar but I think my poll differentiates us enough to keep it open.
I guess it will be up to the moderators though.
Thanks for linking it, I hadn't seen this thread.

^should not be a problem. I'm running Nitrogen & Franco!

My best rom is AICP with ElementalX kernel + ex kernel manager.

used to love PAC on my SGS3! Welcome....
SG3 and PAC-ROM, Those were the days. Looking forward to this ROM.
It feels really smooth, but has no features to speak of (other than regular cm features), also what is this Smartly.Me app? All it does is redirect me to an app on the playstore.

Thank you for the ROM.
Unfortunately, it seems to suffer from the same Quick Settings bug as other CM based ROM's. You cannot add more than four broadcast tiles using something like the Custom Quick Settings app.

And only thing I tested.
It's my criteria in a ROM, so I moved on to the next ROM.

about time that somebody puts and end to that and the worst is that it's not a solution but just a workaround which will keep many people to go for the real thing which is troubleshooting the entire setup. as we all know there a few but as compared to the entire community not THAT many having thouse issues and alone the fact it's always the same group of people hints to an at least part-factor on their side. on guy even posted it works in the office but not at home, that tells it all IMO
Just a heads up that this rom likes to reboot for me when I get a phone call. So that's a thing it does lol

hey guys.,.,this is a great ROM however, is there a work around on how to prolong battery life? It drains too fast in this rom compare to other CM13 roms. Thanks...

My tester didn't face it....But i can assure you that this a commong bug from CM side ( happened after the 6.0.1_r22 merge from cm ) and should be resolved soon.

I can't comment about battery life..But all CM13 roms are based on same cyanogenmod source and hence it can't make a difference ( just that my build has 4-5 features extra over the CM source )
@Santhosh M: Extra features of this ROM looks promising.
Will soon try it on my device.

Priority notifications button
Hi, I've tested this rom the last week and I couldn't adjust the priority states to the positions of the left button. In this rom there's 4 priority states and the button has only 3 positions. In other roms this is adjusted with only alarms, priority only and all. Does anyone know how to adjust this feature in this rom?

[Q] Nitrogen vs Resurrection Remix - Which is better for RN3-Kenzo

I am currently on RR 5.8.3 23rd April build. It is working fine but i feel battery backup is less than MIUI, especially xiaomi.eu.
I have heard that battery backup and Camera are better in Nitrogen but customizations are better in RR. Also, as per my experiance RR has proven to be more stable than Nitrogen, although I used Nitrogen a long time ago. Can anyone suggest which one one of these is better for kenzo?
I am trying to avoid MIUI as it is too much buggy, even the stable ROMs.

There's no doubt, A ROM is not good only if it's battery backup is good. If I need a phone only for battery backup, I would go for Nokia 1100.
Only reason im backing off from NOS nd LOS is coz of their frequent updates... Monthly updates are fine with patches...
Btw im using pure nexus with stock kernel... Pretty good battery backup nd performance too...

It's the default theme that comes with Nitrogen OS. If you're talking about the last screenshot, it is EX Kernel Manager app running on dark theme.

Try stormguard. It's an over locked kernel. But then also don't expect much from a 2 year old mid Ranger chip
Pixerl Experience and Stormguard worked fine for me. But im on stock again cause of the camera capabilites

But when click on send ....I doesn't work please help:crying:
I wonder if changing the DPI and making the screen 720p will help with better gaming performance. I often did this with my Moto X Style and it helped a little bit. My only worry is that apps won't display properly. Probably overkill but still worth it if you play a lot of online games and want better FPS/battery life.
