First you can try wiping your cache and rebooting your phone, then only then try hitting the back of your phone but not too hard.
This is a common problem that has been seen.

So you can't put the call on speaker or your speaker doesn't work at all.

The speaker doesn't work at all except during call
I think there is another speaker that activates during call
If I enable speaker mode on a call then also no audio
Earphones work fine
Tried many roms

If your willing to you can slap the back of your phone( I have done this when my speaker didn't work) don't do it too hard though then your audio should kick back in.

Before I send you that I can give you one last tip you can try plugging in your headphones then going to the sound settings and moving the ringer slider and finally removing your headphones.

Tried that no use

I had exactly same problem, so I slapped my phone few times bacause nothing else seemed to work. At first there was no effect, but one minute later my sister called me and boom! - speakers work again.

Top, near the speaker.

Still not working

I need to know if there are 2 speakers in this phone, like one loud speaker and another earpiece
As I can only hear audio only during calls not on other apps

i had same problem, what i did to get them working was smacking the back on the phone ( lower half on the back) with my hand

Is speaker still not working? If so slap the upper top back of the phone with my which is parallel to the speaker and every few times try increasing volume to see if you can hear something. You got to slap it a little hard to make it work.

Well if it works in calls but doesn't work elsewhere then something must be blocking it from that. What you could try is something like a reset.

[SOLVED]X10 Mini earpiece volume too low

Forgot about this thread. Problem solved since long ago.
How's music now? Is it also very low just like in calls?
I guess you've already pushed the plug all the way in, moved it and so on.
If it persists I suggest trying stock 2.1 again and check how it goes, or plug it into a laptop/pc/speakers/ipod or whatever to see how it sounds before going back to 2.1.

Its when I talk to someone, so only in calls. The volume is perfect with headset, but without headset I can barely heard the one I talk to.

[Q] How to fix the speaker volume?

Hey guys,
I've been having an issue with the volume on my phone. There is very little sound coming out through the speaker on the back. To be able to hear anything at all, I have to stick the speaker right up to my hear and even then you can barely hear any sound even though I've put the volume on max. When I plug headphones in, the sound is fine. Only when I'm trying to listen to music without earphones or trying to hear my notifications and ringtone when someone calls me, it gets very little sound. I'm using AOKP Jelly Bean 4.1.2 if that helps. This starting happening when I was using my Nike+ Running app. Music was playing while I was running and then all of a sudden the music stops. I found out that it didn't stop because my music was still going when I plugged in headphones and the sound was still coming out of the speaker but very low that you could not hear it. If you guys have a solution, please help me out. Thanks.
I did have something familiar and was the headphones cable not properly connected...

I'm assuming you've tried doing a full wipe before posting this question, as if that fixed there would be no reason to post this question? If not, do that. That's always a trouble shooting step that should be done before posting. If it doesn't fix it, it could be a hardware issue.

Well that sucks man. Hope you can get it fixed. Apparently mobiletechvideos fixes phones for relatively cheap, could try them.

Had the same problem on a captivate one time. There was lint in the port for the headphones. Cleaned it out and speaker started working again.

if you sent it in for this buzzing then it will get sent back. Possibly a new device, but will still have the issue.
it happens when the speaker is producting static and no output. until the speaker turns off.

Thank you. It's especially noticeable when you put on the sound clear audio + option, try it with like some built in ringtones or notifications. Also when I listen to some music with this enhancer it like crackles with the enhancer on...

Guess it's similar to the image/video enhancer which makes some stuff unbearably grainy
I do hear some buzzing if I play a song and there are some quiet parts in the song, but it doesn't buzz after the song is finished. Same with YouTube. I can only hear it if I hold the speaker up to my ear, and since I just noticed it now and I had to "look" for it, it doesn't bother me since it's not noticeable under normal usage.

I have received a new phone from warranty and it does not have the buzzing that I was experiencing with the previous phone.
I'd link an audio sample to my issue, however xda won't let me.

Help | phone ear speaker

Hey, I have a mate 10 pro c432 v148.
Last weekend I decided to go to the water with the phone as it is supposed to be waterproof (not submerged just a few splashes).
Since then the phone was working normally except for one thing, the ear speaker suddenly outputs the sound at a very low volume (it's there just barely ear able).
Is there anything I can try to do to fix it? It doesn't seem like corrosion to me since it's still working..

There's an app on the play store called unclog your speaker.
Activate stereo+ , place the phone horizontally when u enter the app and run it for couple mins.
If your device is rooted then do this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/themes/audio-mod-root-t3706954 and run the same app I mentioned before ( Be careful not to dmg your earphone speaker with this mod ! I have no idea how long can u run it maxed out with this mod and frankly I'm not interested in testing it on my own device lol ) - it should provide better results and the speaker experience is much more enjoyable with it.

The application solved the charity of the sound so I can understand the words, but the strength didn't change. I'm a bit afraid putting those mods on :/ wondering if the speaker membrane still has water on it even though 3 days have passed.
Thanks anyway

Yw, as for the mod I'd suggest at least using it without pushing the speakers.
As to why is it so quiet?
Idk, is it quiet enough that you can't make phone calls?
It should be working alright after a splash ( Unless u power hosed it ... ) so it might be just ur imagination.
Earphone speaker is pretty quiet, I was tweaking the mod 2day so I took the time to revert back to stock and it can't even be compared...
You have 2 options so far - Follow the guide I sent you or send it to the service.
The file from that guide should at least bring your speaker back to normal.
I guess I totally got used to it that I forgot how bad the Huawei implementation is.
You might run into issues while doing this like I have with the latest twrp.
Lemme know if you need some help! :good:

Mic stopped working

After a few days the microphone of my new realme 6 stopped working. At first it worked perfectly and then it just stopped. I can not make recordings, voice messages, I am not heard when I call... All you hear are some cracks. I tried already a few things like factory reset, disabling 'hey google' ... I want to try to boot in safe mode but I keep failing.
Does anyone have a solution?
Meanwhile I try to get help from realme aswel but they are so slow and not very helpful so far..

Hm.. Strange I am using this devices for more than 2 months I pre-ordered it I am not having any similar issue might be a device fault. Keep calm and wait for the support or replace your device(which is a good option)
Maybe this is due to dust stuck on the mic hole, or there is a short circuit on the mic because of conductor dust, or the mic connection to the circuit board got loose, or the mic itself broken.
---------- Post added at 12:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:13 PM ----------
But i think it was the mic glue are not applied properly, so its loose and the copper wire for the mic got loose and will make cracking sound.
