about root my redmi note 3 - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

hi frnds pls tell me the easy method to root redmi note 3

You can flash su addon. Or flash MagiskSU

Root. You can root with this guede (look in experimental section), without unlocking bootloader and never need to unlock it for flashing custom roms

I don't recommend rooting MIUI because it can have many problems, you can try a custom ROM like lineage OS and root it, I feel that's easier.

I flashed exposed, but it says Xposed is installed but not active, can you help? When I tried the same thing on RR 5.7 It worked flawlessly.

Maybe yes, it showed that it is active but every module install resulted in a boot loop.

there is no twrp version of aerom out yet, you have to flash it with sp tools or you try the other custom roms, this ones you can flash it normal in twrp!
and aerom is not pre rooted

You flashed with a non treble recovery. Use this and flash.

Should i install a custom ROM on my P20 Lite?

Hey.
The stock roms feels "laggy", idk to explain. Not fluid like the Android One for example (I got the MiA1 and it's amazing, super fluid since ever)
So i'm here to ask if worth put a custom rom os this.
Thanks!

I think so, yes
BUT, coming from nexus devices with plenty of great ROM's, not sure yet if there are good roms for this device. I just got my P20 lite. Unlocking bootloader, installing custom recovery, installing ROM, root was so easy on nexus devices. Looks like this is more of a pain. Gonna read some on this forum first
If you have the bootloader unlock code I recommend you try the descendant treble rom. The best custom rom I ever used
