Hello. this is my first thread any help is really appreciate it. am not advance phone user in anyway but i do have some understanding about work around and tweeking a bit.
my phone is the galaxy note 3 sprint version and still with sprint software version is (N900PVPUEOK2) model # is (SM-N900P) last night i installed the TWRP V. 3.1.0.0 bootloader (i think that's what it called) and from it i tried to install the Darkloard ROM this is it exactly the one i tried (DarkLord.Note7.Full.Port.V1.0.edit.Ufo71) it didn't work at all it was stuck at some point and the device restart so i change the TWRP to V. 2.8.5.0 and it did work Darklord installed perfectly then flashed the kernel (DarkLord-Kernel-Note7-hlte-eur-V1.0) the device worked with out netwrok signal and keep giving me the com.android.phone app not responding Erro message over and over i tried to fix and did all the process again and again still same exact problem then i flashed this fix (Updated_DarkLord_Note7_REPACKED) still same exact problem no signal tho the phone work perfectly but even when i go to network search no network appear... i even tried and flashed the Darklord same version i have (not sure if there is another) i flashed it from stock bootloader or the lollipop bootloader without the TWRP and again it did work but no signal. and same error message.
sorry TL,DR maybe but can someone please tell me if there is any version of the Darklord Or any Note 7 or Marshmallow ROM that can work on my Galaxy not 3 sprint without problem would really appreciate it...
when all didn't work i had to get the TWRP boot and flashed the Android 5.0 back to my phone and it work perfectly now. i still want the Not7 features tho if anyone can help.

Unfortunately, that happens on every s7/note 7 port due to the roms being meant for gsm. The workarounds are a pain and are hit or miss. One sprint user got this one working: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ormaaurora-t3540520/post71187917#post71187917

thanks a lot for your answer and links. I actually ended up installing and flash the Araymod and it working great. very very minor bugs that come with kinda every update.

Hi, @yzar78 Exactly which Araymod did you flash? I have the same phone and service as you (Sprint Note 3) and I flashed the Phronesis v5.1 Note 7/S7 Edge rom and suffered the same problem. No network signal. Wifi worked great. Internet, bluetooth and all, just couldn't call or text. I'm a newbie, so any and all information is appreaciated.

Thanks for the useful information. I've suffered the same problem after flashing the Phronesis v5.1 Note 7/ S7 Edge rom. Going to check the suggested forums now.

I have a Galaxy S2, I9100, original, I had the LoS Kernel from early on, and I have had recent troubles upgrading. I've upgraded to Dream Kernal, Siyah Kernal, and several other kernals. The phone boots when I load each individual rom, however, several services fails to load.
Am I missing something? I haven't updated this phone since it first came out, and after months of "update messages" from Sprint, I've decided to update it and I'm having difficulty. I've got CWM downloaded and I've used CWM to update each rom and kernel. If I could get some direction that'd be great. I just want the latest Android version and some type of superficial visual ROM ontop. I am generally very okay with each ROM, just upset that the current kernal leaves me with a failure of signal, causing me to reboot.

I currently have Kernel version 3.043-rc1-Siyah-Dorimanx-V5.78-SGII-PWR-CORE and AOKP Version ThunderBolt Rom JB by ALHuessein Mohammed and Android version 4.1.1. . My Build is ThundrBolt by ALHussein Mohammed and I can't get any of my active services to work. Wifi doesn't work, sending texts doesnt work, surfing the internet doesn't work. Nothing. I get the phone to boot, but nothing comes of my boot. I have tried several different kernels, and different ROMs, but none of them seem to fix the issue of standard services working. I'd appreciate some help with the issues. My CWM version is 6.0.1.2-Siyah. I'm pretty confused on the whole matter.
As far as my knowledge goes, the Kernel is like the underlying infrastructure, and the ROM is like the OS. I don't really know what I've done to **** this **** up, but it's no longer functioning as a regular phone. I've used ODIN before, but seeing how I have CWM, I figured it wasn't required. Any help would be appreciated. Even setting my phone back to stock, since backing up my phone through CWM didn't actually do anything, since I can't restore back to my previous version.
I'm in dire need. Please assist.

hey ma8 first and foremost u should have patience here on XDA.
bumping Post like this will lead u knowhere and people will simply ignore the same for sure
now coming back to ur issue what i would suggest u is this before jumping into kernel flashing thing have u checked in the ROM thread of the one ur using for what kernel people r using there r any kernel related post in that thread.
if not do the same first (search that thread for post that r similar to ur issues).
also u can try the latest Siyah kernel v4.1.5 and see

Several contradicting pieces of information here that I've bolded.
The I9100 is a GSM phone. Sprint is a CDMA network. The I9100 won't even work on Sprint's network.
When I google for "LoS kernel site:forum.xda-developers.com", the first result I get is for this, which is an Epic 4G Touch kernel.
These things tell me you are not in the correct forum for your device.
The Sprint variant for the Galaxy S2 is the Epic 4G Touch, and that forum is located at http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1281

Yeeeahh. I had searched Samsung Galaxy SII, and I was led here. I had forgotten that my particular phone was an Epic 4G Touch. Thanks for the direction.

please somebody help me, I have Samsung Galaxy Pop SHV-E220S which is much similar in specs with Samsung Galaxy SIII I9305 (LTE), I upgraded it from JB 4.2.1 to KK 4.4.4 with its official official software Kies. it was successfully upgraded but one problem I am facing continuously, its Signals, most of the time when especially I am at home it is showing message " Emergency calls only " when I am trying to dial a number. but another phone at home with same network SIM working fine (its Huawei g610), I saw there is in setting only two options available for Data Network Mode LTE Preffered and 3G only. on both settings the same problem arise.
I will much grateful if getting help.

Try going to sammobile and reflashing 4.4.4, when I initially flashed the OTA my Bluetooth stopped working in my truck. I reflashed and everything worked as advertised. I'm now on cyanogenmod 12 it's awesome!

thanks for reply, as mentioned, i used Samsung official software Kies, this will not allow me to re-flash it.
if there is any CM12 for my device, i will be happy to flash it, but first i have to ROOT my device and yet failed to find any specific method for my device. is there any ?

Title says it all. My wife has an LG G3 on Sprint, LG-ls990, and I'd like to update it to the latest stuff for her. She's on android 5.1.1 from forever ago and for the life of me I cant find her firmware version? Hers is showing LVY48F. Can some kind soul give me some guidance?
Also, it's rooted, has TWRP and a custom ROM.
Huh...I'm on 5.0.1 still. When I unrooted from KK a month ago and went totally stock I waited for days to get past zvf and it never happened. I wonder how you wife got 5.1.1. My wife's totally stock never ever rooted G3 has been at 5.0.1 zvf for ever now and even doing a firmware update poll from her phone results in no update to 5.1.1.
Have you tried searching for the 5.1.1 rom to sideload it?
There's a newer version available but it's for 7.1. Can I flash that at the current state of the phone.

what sim are you trying to use? you will need to run the GSM patch to get GSM sims to work correctly. also check if your IMEI is clean at https://swappa.com/esn
Am trying to use mtn and glo on it, it was working before I installed the custom rom... And immideitly I did it stopped working and am damn bothered.... Plz help me how do I install the patch and I chose to update it because my WiFi stopped working suddenly and even after doing so... The WiFi is still having the same issue not turning on... I am really fed up with this phone. Still I am not getting network. No signal after wasting so much of time. Sim card is detected but no network. I have read almost all threads regarding this issue. I have tried each and everything like unlocking bootloader ..flashing different roms. All the threads here regarding this issue is stamped as more details needed or crapNobody giving the right solution. There are many users waiting for the solution like me. I am providing all the details what you want. Anyone or moderator who really knows about Miui rom or baseband kindly pay attention to this. My imei is intact no issues. When checked with phone info 1 the default network type is ts-scdma, gsm/wcdma and lte. Eventhough i change this to LTE only it reverts back to default setting. There is some issues with the band settings i guess. I have tried different networks but of no use. I changed to 2g,3g or 4g but no change. I am attaching few screenshots for details. Wifi bluetooth all working fine. Please provide the solution as soon as possible. Mi really bad in rom support.

Check your Imei, but DON'T post it. If you don't have an imei, you should try the recovery metod.

I have mentioned my imei is intact. No problem with that.
When you use Beta Roms or Customs Roms, you shouldn't blame Xiaomi for things not working.
Stick to the original firmware and everything will be fine.
why you didn't report to miui bug thread?
unlock bootloader and make efs backup.
flash miui 6.11.3
give more details of how this happened if the above issue is still not solved.

I was in the stock firmware global stable 7.1.30. I updated to the newer version through OTA that also stock. After that I am not getting any mobile network. But it reads the sim the issue is with the band selection it always stick to ts-cdma/lte/wcdma/gsm.. eventhough you change and restart the phone..it still remain the same...If the problem is with their update I will blame xiaomi who else I will. I installed the developer beta version to overcome this issue as mentioned in MIUI forum. But of no use

I have juz explained how it happened in the previous post. Right now I am in miui 6.11.3 rom but still the problem is same. I am not getting any network. I can manually search netqork operator only on 4G mode that too cant connect..Kindly see the screenshots posted above. Problem still remains only the rom is different. This is my 16th rom

Finally solved the problem after searching a lot in internet. Whoever have this problem kindly remove the antenna wire from the motherboard then remove the battery wire. Wait for few minutes re connect and switch on..Bingo you get the mobile network

Just received my redmi note 4 three days ago, set it up and installed all my apps and it was good, the version on it was MIUI 8.0.3.0 Global Stable, but it was asking me to update to 8.0.4.0, so I did, and ever since I noticed that the phone gets more hot, battery drains faster than it used to on previous version, and what's even worse, is the signal, it keeps always switching between 4G and 3G even if the signal coverage in my location is good (had the galaxy s7 before and it never did this), even on MIUI 8.0.3.0 it was a stable 4G all the time. So I performed a factory reset and started fresh, battery and heat are now good but I still have the bad signal issue. So I figured that I should downgrade to MIUI 8.0.3.0 and wait for 8.2 hoping that it won't have this issue. The question is how can I do that? Can I use the standard method of flashing using SP Flash Tool found here? http://en.miui.com/thread-370620-1-1.html

Hello there!
You can use the method that you linked without any problem. SPFlashTool does not check for current firmware version so you can do a downgrade just fine. Make sure to follow the exact steps in MIUI Forums especially where it says wich files/images to flash to your device. Otherwise you may brick your Note 4.
If you are interested you could also try a custom ROM wich will give you a smoother and less buggy device. But you will need a bootloader unlock for that to work.

I've already downgraded, unlocked my bootloader and tried a couple of custom ROMs including Epic ROM and multirom, but I didn't like them very much, they had too many buys and the development for them is not very good.. Could you suggest a good custom ROM that isn't as buggy and has a good battery life? I'd appreciate it if you could.

I only tested one ROM yet and that would be that one linked here!
It works just fine at the moment. I have had it for 4 days now. I would also suggest flashing Magisk 11 or suhide.
There currently is a Bug with the middle Softkey wich is assigned to multitasking view and the google search at once. Someone has posted a fix for that wich i cant find currently because it was posted in MIUI forums and the user was banned. You can always try to swap the Softkeys yourself with an xposed module or a root app.

Tried this one before, it was good enough, and I was able to swap the buttons using Gravitybox.. I just flashed latest epic ROM yesterday and so far so good.. But I'll surely change it again in a few days (I love re-flashing ROMs)
