No, SuperSU is not required. Superuser is inbuilt into this ROM, just that its disabled by default.
To enable root access, activate developer options. Settings -> About -> Tap build number 7 times to enable developer options. Then inside developer options, navigate to root access and select your option.

@vasumit This ROM is fantastic, I did flashed on my SM-T320 and working great , but at sometimes i get popup alerts as 'Music FX crashed' & 'Trebuchet Crashed' . Since I am not using these two ( I use nova launcher) I can ignore these annoying alerts. My wife has SM-T325, It will be great to have SM-T325 version of this ROM.

Only HW works in Mxplayer Pro, HW+ is still unsupported. I don't know about the other one.
Bugs are inherited from CM as its a CM based ROM. So if there is something that doesn't work in CM, then it most probably wont work in this ROM as well.
Good news for SM-T325 owners, I have successfully compiled a crDroid build for you guys.
Shoot me a PM if you want to test it, I need a confirmation before posting here.

thanks...works well..sms mms internet wifi ,,,EDIT gallery camera work too (did not test out crdroid features because had to get back to stockish build due to echo) however call echo there as in cm12 and cm11 builds (except per some users on cm11 pre-Oct 21 builds) Therefore cannot use as I need the tablet for daily phone (yes-only device I have besides work phone) use,,,great work though super smooth...blinding fast...another thing wish there was a way to increase the lcd density as everything is too small (lcd density change in build prop works in cm11 but not cm12)...hope someone can fix the echo bug...would be over this in an instant

how can this be done to your LL crdroid as when i try to peek into zip file the layout is not like typical android zip files
please see if this is a fix for echo issue on cm12 (i found it to be an issue...I mean other callers found it to be an issue)...the changes I made work for me on cm11 and crdroid kitkat
ALSO
can you please advise on how to change the lcd density in LL crdoid or cm12 for that matter...about the only useful file i could extract from the cm12 zips was build.prop and using a new lcd density did not change anything (as everything is too small (for me) on this tablet phone in cm12)

Steps to follow:
1.Download the installer according to the firmware version you have installed on your rog phone 2
2.Uncompress the Installer_Asus_V2.x.zip file
3.Move the Installer_Asus folder to the root of the internal memory
4.Download the terminal for Android
5.Start the Android terminal
6.To grant root permission to terminal type su
7. Enter the following commands to run the installer

The solution to this problem comes from a non-specific module installed on your device, the way you should solve it is to deactivate the module and try again, if the problem persists you must uninstall the module, once you have finished reinstalling your module.

Need help! I replaced these files, gave them proper permissions, was using solid explorer, but now my cpu frequencies are stuck at full speed! Literally every cpu is running in full speed! I checked in armory crate too, cpu speed was full, I used profiler to see some graphs and each and every core is at full speed!
Maybe I did something wrong! Is there anyone who can guide me step by step!?
Edit : okay so its working fine now! After rebooting I waited for like a few seconds and everything was back to normal!
Btw you did an excellent job! I had that problem where my phone restarts due to high temperatures! Its solved now! As long as I play any game with temp set to default in armory crate! Seriously thank you so much!

You need to change lens to 64 mp for 60 fps video and slow motion to work
Hdr+ enhance usually works better with high contrast, medium and low light scenes. In a good daylight, hdr+ on (Zero shutter lag) works well

Unfortunately no, choosing the 64PM sensor and 60fps does not make 60fps video but still 30. The slow motion mode no longer crashes with the 64MP sensor, but the video rendering is really weird, as if there were 1 images per second.
Hdr+ enhance (compare too Hdr+) works great with low light scenes effectively, thx

The Galaxy A52s? Right now no but I may port it in the future like Sloobot had done originally. The main issue though is I don't have an A52s physically so I wouldn't be able to test it. I'll have to ask you (or any other Galaxy A52s user) to grab a couple copies of stock files in the root (/system) directory on Android 13, will let you know more when I am in a position to do so.

Thanks for the kind words. The 5G zip should still work, the only difference is Sloobot's version of this custom mods was referencing the 4G's lesser refresh rate of 90Hz instead of the 5G's higher refresh rate of 120Hz, on 5G devices, so I decided to split them both out. I have also held off releasing the 4G version so quick just to give the 5G one an extended test since it's a major Android version update since the last; after a month of testing it's looking great and I'm aiming for a 4G release near the end of this month

Oh right you want more details on how it works. That's fine.
In a nutshell how it works is, Samsung added all the high end features to their S-Series lineup. Which are of course the flagships. They're configurable in a few files that act as toggles, if you are able to edit the /system directory (which is what Magisk etc is for). Under normal circumstances you can't do it because it requires root privileges.
But they were lazy with restricting the A-Series to distance their capabilities from the S-Series; what they did was simply turn the high end features off at a software level, the toggles mentioned above. But the clever folk (the modders) figured out how to turn them on and many of these toggles do indeed work on A-Series as though they were S-Series, because both series share many of the same internals.
The simplest and easiest test to quickly show would be performance, take these two screenshots in the mobile app Old School RuneScape. Pay attention to the in-app FPS counter in the top right in yellow.
Module off: 121 FPS
Module on: 187 FPS
That's an impressive 50% increase in performance.
(note this app's FPS can report the true FPS above the phone's refresh rate in which A52 5G is 120Hz and A52 4G is 90Hz)
You're welcome to do your own benchmarks and make your own conclusions, but from my experience they do indeed work

The 4G release works fine on One UI 5.1 according to another user on the XDA 4G sister thread. I haven't updated myself yet, but I would say yes for 5G too.

i managed to enable uhd 60 fps now, fixed macro camera crash and portrait mode
I've just published v2.5.5 with some new enhancements
Notably I've merged both devices (4G and 5G) back into one, I think for some of you, you will have to remove the old module and add the new one as the name it checks to see if a new version is out has changed.

For the heck of it I tested the latest release of yours from 4 days ago on my A52S and all seems to working fine. No errors (yet). The SSRM error is present though. Not a big deal...
