Not at the 5 T-Mobile stores I went to today. Had to order it and have it overnighted.
Called 3 around me, and all saying preorder or wait til 7th.

I needed that email a few hours ago, had to preorder at the TMo store.
I just checked 8 stores around me. All said the 7th.

That's weird I picked mine up 2 days ago. The guy did say the called it off a few times and at that time they were allowing it he actually bought his with mine
Just left tmo, they said the 7th. They even called into support and were told the same thing. They have them in stock, but can't sell until the 7th. I was trying to exchange my phone due to my speaker isue.

Followed your logic, but with the wrong carrier -- at&t.
They choose to have mine arrive later than store shipment and it arrives on the 6th while theirs arrived on the third and available for public sales on the 3rd.
Will likely flip mine for a T-Mobile due to being incredibly wary on the bootloader being locked so not likely having root/ rom access.

So I pre ordered on February 23. I called BB today and they said they will call me ( I know this already). I told the guy I haven't yet and he says they go down the list and call as they have the quantity. Do any of the BB employees here have an idea af "an about" amount they usually receive of a new device in demand? Also, when did the pre ordering start?

My Best Buy told me that if you pre-order, you are guaranteed the phone on day one. If I don't get a phone call on Thursday, I'll just go into a BB and get the phone. I wouldn't wait for a phone call
I just got a call from my verizon sales rep, and asked if I could just go in and buy tomorrow. He said that they were already back ordered. I don't know if he is just trying to get sale

Got a call 20 minutes ago, I pre-ordered 2 days after bb was started taking pre-orders.
I preordered today and got a call two hours after I got home. They told me I was the eighth person to preorder, btw.

Hello all,
I just got back from the local AT&T store (Vancouver, WA. Actual branch) and they had no idea about the HOX+, let alone any in stock. When I told the lady that it was released today, she looked in her iPad and found no release date. Then she did a horrible Google search and found a blog post from Oct 2 that didn't have any definitive dates. I just checked the actual AT&T site and it is there, ready for purchase. I also called a Best Buy in Portland, OR and they had no idea either. When they put out a press release launching a product, is that subject to regional rollout? I'm pretty sure when they released the GS3 or iPhone, they had them in stock.
Pretty frustrating overall.
Who has been able to buy them from AT&T here in the states?

Interesting. Which store was it exactly? I called the Best Buy Mobile store at Clackamas Town Center and they had no idea. I'd prefer to buy it at Best Buy if I could (better return policy/price matching), but would settle for something in Portland (no sales tax).

I got mine today in Denton Texas, they had only two deliverd.
My local ATT in Baltimore had no idea what the phone was... But they did try to talk me into the iPhone 5 so at least I got a good laugh. Probably try Bestbuy this weekend.

Got mine today at a AT&T company store in Bakersfield, CA. The salesperson that greeted me did not think it was out but the manager overheard and said they had just arrived this afternoon and directed us to the display model he had just set up. Looked at the LG Optimus G and the Sony TL (James Bond phone) but the One X+ was the one for me.
i went in about a month ago after it was announced and the sales rep at the att store stated they wouldn't get one until next year. I went in on tuesday once online preorders went up and they were all clueless.I just pre-ordered it online and got it today. I was only charged 199 with no tax si i was excited about that.
I walking into a corporate store to ask, but I had to convince the sales guy to look it up on AT&T's own web site to prove it was real. I may try another store tomorrow.
Picked up the last one last night here outside Harrisburg PA. Well...don't have it yet (long story) but they put it aside for me and I'm going to go pick it up now!
I stopped and picked mine up this morning no issues.

Slow Roll Out
Appears to be rolling out slowly. I talked to a guy at one store in Rochester, NY area and they only got a display unit. I went to another store in the mall and they had several. Both of these were corporate stores and not authorized dealers.
It is certainly no iPhone launch! At the mall location they did not even have the display unit out. I had to wait for them to get it out and open it up to see. I am sure I was the first to buy at this store.
i bought a samsung gs3 on nov. 8th. couple days later heard about the dna (i don't know how i missed it). i have 14 days to return or exchange and what not. i went to the store a couple times asking about exchanging it for the dna since the preorder is available and the store date is nov. 21st putting me right in the window. first guy said he would have to find out how to do it since it was a new line also and would call me that day but never did call me. then tonight i went back and explained everything and she called him and he said oh you wouldn't like it, the gs3 is much nicer, and he got to play with it and the battery was awful, it would be a real headache for you to exchange it. i said i still wanted it and they said we checked the warehouse and they don't have any yet and we won't have them until the end of the month. saying things to convince me i don't want to do it.
this all sounds more like they just don't want to do it and don't what to end up with a return. i told them people have received shipping notifications, they replied with that's probably not what they meant, they wouldn't be shipping already.
is there a confirmed store date on these? i wanted one before just because i wanted one but now i want one with the added spite of sticking them with a return.
Everything I heard points to the 21st. Verizon said on their site that they will start shipping the DNA's on the 19th, and with the two day shipping they will also arrive on the 21st. You can exchange your phone until the 22nd, so you should be fine.
Yup, it's officially the 21st. I'm guessing they are getting paid more commission to sell off a lot of the GS3s before the DNAs start selling, or they lose it if you try to switch (or don't want to do the work).

I am thinking the same...I made an internet order this morning and it shipped out around noon for delivery on the 21st.
I certainly hope so. I'm planning on swinging around to my local store after work on Friday in hope that they'll have some on hand. The reps at my store don't know anything when it comes to dates except one guy, but he's hardly there anymore.
I can say that they showed up for store ordering today so you should be able to pick it up in a store soon... if I were you I would just return it to the gs3 to the store you got it from and then get it somewhere else since those guys are assholes...

I have some stupid verizon stores in my area because none of them could give me an update and one lady didn't even know what it was.

At the announcement of the DNA official spokesmen said it was being released on the 21st. There's no question it will be.
Threaten to cancel the line and return the S3. They will balk. Wife didn't like the I phone 4 when switching to Verizon, they wanted to charge a restock fee and told me how much she would hate android, blah blah, blah. Told them fine. Cancel the line, I'll return the phone, pay the fee and open a new line online through Amazon and get my phone through them since they were being difficult. Walked out of the store with the thunderbolt and didn't pay a dime extra (was a hundred more than iphone at the time). They don't want to lose commissions. Also, try to never shop at authorized dealers. Stick to corporate stores.

My local corporate store has no idea of shipments either, no clue the day before. I bet they had a whole pallet of them out back...

They are BSing you Ask to talk to the store manager or supervisor.If they won't help call VZW customer service. They have always helped me..
i had no idea this place wasn't a corporate store. they only sell verizon and have nothing but verizon signs and whatnot. i got real hot when i found that out.
I second the "only shop at a corporate store". Seriously, only suckers wander into the "authorized retailers". You can spot them by looking at the signs. It'll say really small under the Giant Verizon banner like "USA wireless or GO wireless or John Doe wireless, Authorized Retailer". I've never stepped foot in one except when I needed a charger in an emergency. They charged me like $30. Yeah, screw them. The corporate stores can handle all customer service needs, and the staff is always more knowledgeable and helpful.
Authorized Retailers aren't always good with customer service or phone problems. I'd only use a select few places for getting a phone besides Verizon (Amazon, Best Buy, etc). There is a place near me that has no signs except "Verizon" with "Authorized Retailer" underneath. People probably don't realize they aren't the same as Verizon corporate stores.
I would return the phone and get the DNA from a corporate store.
Stopped by my local store today, and surprise, they told me they couldn't sell me a DNA because it would be off contract and they would only have enough for the new people to buy if they had any at all.

called my verizon store today and they said they had will have them tomorrow for sale, so I will just pick it up before work tomorrow. I honestly don't think they get shipment until evening the night before because I called earlier and she told me to call back in a few hours towards evening and then they will be sure if they will have them tomorrow. Called just now and they indeed said they will have them tomorrow.

Called another corporate store, both confirmed stock for me and the second one also confirmed they had them in stock and will sell them tomorrow. So you guys shouldn't have trouble getting them at your local corporate store.
after a short conversation with veriszon customer service got things worked out.
the gs3 had to be returned to the store i bought it at and that store would not be getting the phone on the 21st. to save my number verizon did a equipment swap and put my number on a old phone. then told me to return the phone and buy it at a corporate store on the 21st. i still get to buy it at the discounted price and keep my number,

Be happy you knew when the release date was--I preordered the Nexus 7 and had to wait more than two weeks, most of the time in the dark as to when it was actually being shipped out. Not only that, but brick-and-mortar stores ended up selling them before Google had shipped the preorders. It was really annoying and ten times more tortuous than this.

Mine just changed from processing to Back ordered...

i just logged into my AMEX account and the pending charge for the phone disappeared. maybe that means theyre about to ship it because they dont actually charge the card until the phone ships.

Not all business customers. I ordered mined on the 4th. still shows pending shipment. Although hopeful that it will change before Tuesday.
I ordered on 4/4 right when pre-orders started and my phone changed to shipped just a bit ago with a tracking number that doesn't work just yet.

Mine shipped too. Received the notification on 4PM central. Its actually surprising that I'm expected to receive it April 17th
Also, in case someone gets worried about the HTC Media Link that's supposed to some with it: I called customer care because my shipment notice didn't include it, but the rep said that it should come as an in-box accessory. Would have to wait and see if that's really the case.
to those who received their tracking numbers, was it for the 32gb or 64gb version? mine is for the 64gb and i still dont have a tracking number.
I have a dev edition coming but i ordered a 64 gb from ATT today. Just got off the phone actually. They jacked my premier site up and the shopping tab wasnt visible. They fixed that but said it would be 24 hours before it showed up. So i called in and ordered. I asked if they were on back order, she checked the SKU of the 64gb and said it showed -157 (negative). I wonder if that is the total amount ordered or the amount on backorder... She didnt know. Anyway they knocked 200 off the price even though i got an upgrade in November. Added overnight fed ex. Hopefully it ships tomorrow.
Mind's 32gb normal ed. Its also through FedEx if that makes any difference and I placed my order on the 4th.

Just saw that Verizon changed the preorder day to the 10th when I verified my order online. Cool
When I looked at their website last week, it did say "Will ship by 10/10".
Yeah, I'm kinda confused too ... Before I preordered I was chatting with a Verizon rep online and I mentioned that I would just get mine in store. They told me "People who preorder will get their phone 2 weeks before it gets to stores". So, naturally I promptly placed my preorder ... I fell for their diabolical plan LOL
On a different note (no pun intended), there's a thread in the Note 3 section from a FedEx employee with a Verizon inside contact saying that the preorders will ship 9/29 .... I'm hoping this pans out!
