Amazfit Watch app 1.5 is out!
After months of despair the Amazfit Watch app's update has appeared in the Play Store.
It has steps and sleep display with nice charts, so we're able to check our activity hourly, daily, weekly...
I hope Xiaomi / Huami will release a new FW for the USA version, because v1.3.2b is nice and stable, but lacks a few features of the Chinese FW, plus I had my first bug yesterday: after about 0.9 km of walk the watch displayed that I've accomplished half of the daily step goal, and the activity has restarted itself (so the watch hasn't rebooted), so I've lost the first third of my walk.

The digital watchfaces are working, but I'll share with you my experiences in a few days.
After a day: 1.3.3a seems to be faster than the 1.3.2b was. My experiences:
- Uploading data directly from the watch is so kewl - it just works!
- There is a battery icon on the 6 segments display besides the small clock.
- At the end of a session the finalizing is a lot faster, like it takes half of the time needed before.
- The battery life seems to be the same as it was before, so it's good.
- The digital watchfaces are working now.
- The GPS firmware is also new, so we'll see if it's more accurate or not.
I'll share my further experiences with you in a few days. I'll walk over 40 km during the weekend, so I'll have some more time testing the GPS.
Syncing problem with strava
I cannot just sync my activity to strava. It's so frustrating. Can anyone tell whether they have been able to see their activities on strava. I have tried all the methods logging in and out of strava again and again but it doesn't work.

Are you running the latest (1.3.3a) FW? Everything is fine for me, even uploading the data to Strava directly from my watch.
Maybe you should unpair your watch to see if pairing it again would solve your problem or not.

Yeah I am now running 1.3.3a version but still not able to sync with strava, though I am using Google login in both that is amazfit and strava can it be a problem.

I don't know, but try to log out from Amazfit and Strava, and log back in again.
If that doesn't help, try to unpair and re-pair your watch.

Hi,I have problem on Amazfit smartwatch, after last update 1.3.3a ,battery drain to fast about 7% per 1 hours. I did reset and unpair and without positiv result. Can somehow do a hard reset? Do not anyone have a similar problem? Before update was everything ok.

Did you try to completely turn off your watch and then back on?
I had this problem once with Redmi 3 phone. Restart didn't help but when I turned it off and then back on, the batter was OK.

I did a hard reset one of this days but the problem with mine is the battery goes like 50%in 6 hours but only if I turn off the Bluetooth of the phone . Otherwise it's OK .

Stuck on updating page for 4 days now
Hi, I was on 1.3.2b and received a notification to update 1.3.3. So I went and update the watch, and the watch has now been stuck on the updating Please do not power off the watch for the last 4 days. What happen was 2 days ago the battery went flat, so I plugged it into the charger it boots up and proceed with the updating process again but still stuck when it finally reaches the end. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I'd like to ask you how to solve the issue with one missing activity in my android Amazfit app. I have Amazfit Pace watches for 1 month and never had issue with syncing so far. I did running up to 1 hour, cycling up to 2 hours, but on Saturday I had road bike race for 110 km (over 4 hours) and I don't see this activity in my app. I can see it on my watches though, I see everything, including map and gps data. I tried syncing multiple times. I also did short bike activity today, on my way to work, and I can see it on my phone. I also tried to select this activity on my watches and then click "export", it says "exporting, please wait for a while", I left it for 1 hour, nothing happened. So does Amazfit Pace have problem with longer activities? How can I solve this issue, any tips?
Edit: I forgot to mention that I have the latest version of android app and watches as well.
Try AmazeBackup, it exports data from watch directly to TCX/GPX.

I've an Amazefit Pace International Version with all updates till today. Already reset the device, unpair and paired again but the problem subsists.
After walking/running no matter the distance, when i close the activity, there is no problem sincyng the data syncs to the app amazefit, but, after when syncing to Strava, the distance that apears is inferior by a large diference from the amazefit app..
Exemple: Running 25Km. When sync to amazefit app the distance its correct but then when sync to strava the distance its shortened to 23K. Its not few meter but Km in some cases..
Does anyone had this problem before?
Strava will always recalculate and smooth the track, so it will never show the same value, specially with bad GPS signal or a lot of noise. If it is important to you, then you can try:
1. Disable auto pause and 3D data in activity settings;
2. Change the activity to "race" once it is imported to Strava.

i have the same problem with Pace and last stock rom , i tested climbing and trail running, when sync to strava i have big distance difference. For example 16,13 km on Pace and 14,35 on strava. The 3D data and auto pause off.
Any suggestion? Thanks.
I've seen a few occasions where the end point on Strava is shorter than the end point recorded on my watch.
When this happens I delete the Strava activity, export the GPX track from the watch, then manully upload the GPX to Strava and so far this has fixed the problem.
I had to do this yesterday as the first upload via Amazfit sync was 2 miles short.
The distance on Strava is correct, compared with other gps in same activity. The Pace calculate and show the wrong data. Even uploading on strava the exported gpx file from Pace, i have the same result.

Hi, I just made a test.
3D and auto stop was OFF.
Auto stop could be good but it is just for fun not normally usable for sport. 3D is interesting but I cant check what it really count. If you want to compare with map or others it is messy. Better to check altitude gain.
RUN TEST:
Watch (Stratos) and APP shows all OK. Distance, pauses, laps. It correspond to the reality.
STRAVA:
- Thinks all stops (not mooving) are pauses! Shortened the run about 40 minutes!
- No manual pauses shown and not possible to see them.
- No laps are shown.
When I switched to RUN/RACE WALK or BIKE, mode on Strava, it then calculate also stops to the time. Better.
- But the manual pauses was calculated also! It does not make a sense. And whats more, it think you made a hyperjump to other place of speed of light! Nice PACE than
In the result is is totally unusable. If you do not use manual pauses, you can can you RUN/RACE mode.
Whats more. If you want to find some place on the map and check time - time when you was there:
- Amazfit APP: not possible to track on the map! Why? You can check on the graph but you dont now where is it.
- Strava: Yes, but only on PC! not in the phone APP, it is nice, but if you have pauses, it is hard to understand.
- GPX export: Over USB and PC it is really not quick method.
Result is, that on the mobile APP you are not able chack position and time on map ever! Thats Amazfit watch.

Note this only resolves the amazfit App bug that terminates run to strava early (normally when route crosses). FW 2.3.9.0 inability to quickly re-acquire GPS after running under bridges etc will not be fixed.
The difference is easy to spot if the route is correct on the watch then GPX export will resolve.

I had the same problem. For example, I stopped the run at 15km, and pace showed it properly. Then it synced to Strava, the distance was reduced to 12km, with the ending point being 3kms back, way before i actually stopped the activity. I checked altitude data in it just went dead after the 12km, so i guess this is a bug (altitude data goes dead and the watch just stops the activity, even though it still shows you data screen like it's recording). I tried to download gpx from the watch and upload it to Strava manually, which sometimes worked, but sometimes didn't. In some occasions, I also noticed that while amazfit app showed the correct distance, the activity map showed the activity ending flag way before the gps line stopped.
My solution: Power off the watch, wait 10 secs at least then turn it on before each activity. This was the only way for now that reliably worked. I sucpect this is a software issue from the last Pace update, since itnever happened before.
I have the same problem. My Stratos automatically send my Morning Ride with shorter track than I ride (22.5km). After that I export my track to GPX in Stratos device and I have full track of my Morning_Ride (24.7km). It looks, that problem is in synchronization Stratos <> Strava. What is the solution for this problem?

I have a pace smartwatch and when i look into the gpx data it's starting after 1km when the watch finally record altitude. So I can't even manually charge the run onto strava with the GPX file. Any idea how to make proper GPS record or to make the altitude work from the first step ?
Maybe it's because I started running right after the GPS tracking was ok but the watch does not tell you the altitude recording is still not possible.

Dropped from 4 - 5 days (about 20 - 30% still was did not drained) with the same usage and settings to 3 - 4 days (often with 20 - 30% only battery) and 2 - 3 days (with 30 - 40% battery):
1. heart rate always activated (continuous heart rate tracking), but often without manual measurement (after updates, before updates was several times manual measurement),
2. double tap activated from 9:00 to 00:00 (24:00),
3. wrist up/lock screen activated from 9:00 to 00:00 (24:00),
4. don't disturb activated from 00:00 (24:00) to 9:00, brightness full bright 100%, but with auto reacton in place light (light sensor activated),
5. sport modes (all) deactivated and never was started after factory reset of watch,
6. watch face is installed GreatFit for Verge 3.90 version (that's 3rd party watch face, but with my knowledge don't effect for battery life at all watch face, but for detail information i writing this information too)
7. notifications is getting without sounds, only vibration
8. no call from watch, no music listening from watch
9. widget is added only weather, all others is not added in watch (you can add two widget in Watch App, so added only one)
10. All others features like: campass, timer, as i mentioned music, sports modes and ect., wasn't used in these period of battery and often is not turning on at all.
11. Second hand activated
My usage:
Some notifications (notifications i getting from some apps like my sport supporting team, they are three), from Facebook's messanger (average more as 10, but less than 20), from Gmail (average 5 - 10 letters per day), message (sms) average to 20, call notification i getting average to 10, maybe a little bit more as 15. It's average statistic.
Most time it's just wearing and checking time. This is my average usage. Which is not so much, but and is not at all without usage

After exchanging over 10 messages with the support of the Xiaomi, I found that they had no idea what to do to fix the problem. I'm totally disappointed with them. These days I received updete on application and xiaomi clock 3.2.3.0. The problem is still there. I hope someone soon finds a solution.
p.s After 2-3 restarts work fine.
Hi, I flashed the Verge 1801 with custom ROM 3.0.29.0, because of language) and everything worked fine. Than I decided to go with stock us/global ROM 3.2.2.0. Everything works for me again, except syncing data from watch to cloud/watch app.
It says:
Cannot verify access token
Please update Amazfit watch app to the latest version and try it again.
The same happened with any other ROM version I tried.
When I flash back to 3.0.29.0 everything works fine again.
Am I doing something wrong (pairing/unpairing...) Anybody had this issue solved?

I have a new Amazfit Pace watch and I'm still learning
In last week I had troubles with battery, even after guides (2-2,5 days life max) so I did factory reset.
After that, smartwatch launches full color watchface after I move wrist - like when hand was down and I moved to check what's time it is.
Is it typical or is it launched somewhere in settings? Before factory reset when smartwatch was locked and 8 color display was on, it stayed in that mode until unlocking smartwach.
Rom version is 2.8.4.0 and I'm using Amazfit app from Play Store, before reset I had also notify & fitness for amazfit.
Same on my Stratos for a long time ago. So this update is very old
It's normal since WOS2 (firmware 2.x), but it may not work with some custom watchfaces if they do not support 26w mode.

Anyway, because of battery draining, I decided to return watch.

Hi, I own this watch for 2 weeks now and everything was working fine until the day before yesterday, I opened Amazfit app w/o Internet connection (was not aware at the time, automatic task) so I was kicked out from app and been asked to relogin, cool I did so and then my data been wiped: no steps, no sleep, no HR, weight was all that left (and the only thing that is still working).
So I tried to reboot both watch and phone (Xiaomi Mi6), no luck, also tried to let it be and see the other day, no luck, now it is 3rd day when I am keep seeing no data is going through.
I tried to force manual sync on the watch in Settings that went just fine with successful message after 100%, in the end I unpaired watch (factory reset), still no luck.
Someone told me me to try N&F app and it does read all the data, so how come official app does not, any ideas?
BTW: from time to time Amazfit app shows me that there is not connected devices and when I go to my profile under Amazfit Stratos it shows "Not activated". I activate it every time it says not activated, but it changes nothing about data.

hello, sometimes this happens when there are problems with servers from Xiaomi. That is why there are problems with synchronization and downloading weather data. Usually it lasts from several hours to several days, it is not a continuous problem, There are also problems logging in to the Xiaomi account. I recommend patience and wait a few days.

I hope so, but when servers are down or something is wrong with them it should not work for everyone and not just one person I believe.
I am worried because I have been using huami bands for years now and nothing like this has happened in the past (in MiFit app).
It's been a week now, is official app really that bad? On day 1, 2 and 3 I was able to force sync watch from it's settings (of course I was getting nothing in app anyway), then I could not even manually sync it to amazfit servers.
All this time I'm also using Notify & Fitness for Amazfit to store my data (which works fine)..

i just create a ticket to support.
when i try to force "sync data" on different wireless network, i still have "error, verify your network"
after delete/resintall app on my iphone, i loose all my sport activities on iphone, but, i still have it on my watch. (i just backup my watch!)

Just nothing is being shown on the Amazfit iOS App. Sleep, heart rate are all working OK, it is just that I have not record of steps taken over the day when you click on the Walking Man icon (which takes you to the Steps screen) or any activities logged such as running or walking. in fact, i resolve my problem alone (thanks amazfit support :mad : )
Before all, i backup all my watch (with AmazeBKP_v1.2)
IMPORTANT, put the watch in airplane if you don't want loosing all your sport activity into the watch.
i'll explain what i do:
1. put the watch in airplane
2. try to see if the watch is connected to amazfit app, normally no, because it is in airplane.
3. if you don"t see the watch, go to amazfit app, and remove the watch from your account.
4. log off from amazfit app
5. Remove the app
6. reinstall the app !
7. logon with your account
8. add the watch ! ... now, for adding a watch to amazfit you need a QR Code... but, if you want a QR Code, you need to reset your watch ! nooooooooooooooooo !!!!!
open a cmd, go in a folder where there are adb (personnally i use adb from amazeBKP), and type: adb shell am start -n com.huami.watch.setupwizard/.InitPairQRActivity
9. the watch QR code appear, you can add it in your amazfit account.
10. force synchronize data from the watch (need wifi)
11. wait a few minute
With this step my amazfit app work again, and i retreive my 179 Sport session ! OUF !!!
For your information if you don't put the watch in airplane first, when you will remove the watch from your account, the watch will be reset automatically and you loose all !!!

From today for me, sync working too.

Tried for few times to unpair/pair, reinstall app, but last activity is from 17.11, although I have 3 more... reported the issue through the app few times and got back thanks from customer service but nothing else happens.
BTW, how do you upload manually? Thanks.

3 weeks for me and still counting... I have this watch for 4 weeks, so it does not work 90% of the time.
Yesterday after unpair/pair and removing the app worked for a while and workout form yesterday was sync ok, but today again nothing happens...
Yes only manual sync is working(using WiFi)
Go in sync menu from watch then manual sync.
Only with this I have my workout.
Don't know if the pb is from the watch or app

The bad news is Ultra Mode doesn't have manual sync, so if you use it and there is a workout not syncing, you lose it.

The workout you're doing in ultra mode are not visible in normal mode?
