Hey bro, just wanna ask u one question how is the battery life with this rom ?

Really excited by seeing these roms but I m sad because I can't test these before 20may due to some reason but until then I m seeing all of your reviews :victory:

I am assuming there is no way to enable the fingerprint scanner to be used as a navigation track pad right since that is a Moto feature right?

Why not? The source code is released right? Obviously any custom ROM will need this feature implemented before it's taken out of "BETA" status, since the phone doesn't have "hardware buttons" like other phones such as the OnePlus One.

I can't find an option to enable it. It only includes the on screen navigation buttons.

It is also possible that the released source code does not contain the [proprietary?] "Moto" section(s) including the "Single Button Navigation" utilizing the FP sensor as a "track pad" - I hope this is not the case, and I certainly hope that I can find some information soon indicating that this feature will be making it into custom ROMs, otherwise, I will have to return this phone before my time is up for being eligible to return it as it doesn't have the hardware buttons one would expect to find on the blank black space on either side of the fingerprint sensor and the 5.2" screen is simply too small to give up space to "on screen" Nav Buttons.
The "stock" ROM is simply missing too many features for this to be a "daily driver" phone for me - it doesn't have "LiveDisplay" and it doesn't even have such basic featuers as "PrivacyGuard" or "Profiles"?!? I thought these things were standard from Marshmallow 6.0 and up?

About the fingerprint behaviors, for now it's not supported directly in the ROM. And no, Lenovo/Moto didn't provide the source code for this part which is proprietary.
But, @vache is already working on tweaking the Kernel to have a minimal things:
- Fingerprint wake up the device
- Fingerprint mapped has a physical button, with this, you will be able to modify some behavior in ROM Control/Hardware keys
o action on single touch
o action on double touch
o action on long touch
- You have also to know that AOKP have PIE feature, which allow you to hide the navbar and use swipe on screen to access a custom PIE navbar.

got it fired up just now. Looking good so far!

is it possible to enable LED notifications feature in custom ROMS for this device?

It should be doable for charging. Not sure for notification, we will see.

BTW, if it's stable enough, I will try to bump this ROM official soon ?

Awesome Rom so far!!!

Rom is working great, does anyone know if it's possible to Auto hide navbar

Brand new phone and some folks expect full development to be done already.
I'm excited to be getting my g5 plus tomorrow and look forward to spending time in this community.
Thank you OP for showing me a bright future ahead! My m8 is finally kicking the bucket and I'll looking forward to the upgrade. See you all soon.

Is there NDS when using google contact?
May I ask you one thing is the default selinux permissive or enforcing.
Thanks for bringing one more awesome ROM for our dear device.
Really impressed with this ROM apart from two areas. Firstly the camera seems to be a little funky, not sure if the problem lies with the focus but can take three or four attempts before it will actually take a picture. Secondly the three finger screenshot swipe isn't really worth including in its present state. Rather than snap what's on your screen it will first interact with whatever app you are in then take the screenshot after a slight delay meaning the information you want to capture is no longer there.
Hopefully you will keep working on this and the issues will be resolved as at its core it's a solid ROM.

About Omni
The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there.*Android (vs. iOS and every other mobile OS) has thrived on options as well as the gigantic, talented development community that has emerged to build those options. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality.
Omni is a chance to get involved, no matter who you are. Developers, whether you’ve been developing apps for a week, or ROM features for 3 years, you’re welcome. Users, we know you want to help out, and now you can – Omni actively encourages bug reports and feature requests, which can be added to our publicly accessible roadmap. What’s the point in giving you a ROM, and forcing you to not tell us about any bugs you find?
We also recognise how people use Custom ROMs – we’re all custom ROM users and developers ourselves – the argument that “nightlies are not for end users” is over-used, and no longer valid. We’ve found that the vast majority of users want to get nightly updates to their ROM. For that reason, nightlies aren’t a playground – nightlies are for new features that are finished. You should be able to expect the same stability and reliability from a nightly as you would from a “release” ROM, and can report any bugs that prevent this from happening.
We know not everyone wants to update their ROM daily, and you are free to update as frequently or infrequently as you like. Omni is about flexibility and giving users what they expect – and we are excited to see where the community goes with it.

what are the features of this rom? Is there anything especially with regards to camera? In all the oreo builds camera is having some problems.
I have since flashed this rom. No problems as yet. i am using it as my daily driver. I have flashed magisk 15.3 and it is stable. Just like all oreo roms the camera is not working with apps like whatsp, camscanner, drive etc. Thank you developer and keep up the good work. I have also flashed youtube background module and viper module in magisk. Both are working very well.:good:
Settings force close while changing notification channel in apps.

First time installing crDroid to your Moto G5S Plus, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

This is a superb rom. When I was running crDroid everything was smooth and worked fine for my sanders phone. I just personally put on battery saver a lot which causes the android OS to use red bars in the Nav bar and Status Bar.
For me, I just like the option to turn that Red color off when using Battery Saver, otherwise this ROM in my experiance is top 3 best roms for sanders moto 5s plus phones, its great.

Even better, in my humble opinion, would be no additions at all, just the purest AOSP possible, plus necessary sensor fixes.
But I'm going to try this, thanks for offering/sharing.

I meant all those features like UI options, Status Bar/Notifications customization, Quick Settings/Recents/Battery Bar modifications, Animations, and so on, and so forth. All "superfluous" imho.
So one bug that I've seen quite a few ROMs having is the face unlock not functioning. But having the option to use the auto face unlock feature in settings.

Can't get a screen shot because I replaced the rom. It was a notification saying the sdcard is corrupt. If I opened the file manager the sdcard was not visible. I ran into this problem on my lg g3 with an 8.1 rom. Formatting the card to FAT32 from exfat solved the problem. I don't know what the underlying issue was.

Will this work on the EU version L09?
I've always wanted to try Screw'd but there isn't one for the G5, so hopefully now with my new View 10 I'll have more luck

I can barely deal with adb and THAT still scares me, no idea how or what to do with sideload
I'm not quite there yet anyway - I only got the device saturday and just received the bootloader unlock code, so that will be step one. Then I might try rooted stock for a bit before jumping in the cold water ... I'm not sure I'm advanced enough to be the "guinea pig" here
Thanks though, really looking forward to finally trying Screw'd :good:

So one bug that I've seen quite a few ROMs having is the face unlock not functioning. But having the option to use the auto face unlock feature in settings.

SmartLock face unlock works well here (switch screen on to lockscreen, watch the phone with your nice or bad registered face, swipe to unlock).
If that's the feature you mean, be sure it's not a gapps issue.

Hi, just asking, could you guys also distribute the image with something like Torrent? The web site is brokenly restricted and impossible to download.

Anyone can take guide flash PixelExperience, when im on stock Android10?
First of all, you have to go for unlocking of bootloader your moto, here's the link
http://https://forum.xda-developers.com/one-power/how-to/guide-motorola-one-power-unlock-relock-t3858797
After that boot temporary in twrp recovery and flash Rom
That's it
If you deadly wana do something different with your phone and wana spend your time with it, find out thread at xda join telegram channel and enjoy the pixel
has anyone tried the latest firmware (2020/01/29 21:23) available for the pixel experience rom???
Just want to know that while in calls earphones are working or not????
please reply asap !!!
When i reboot it goes to fastboot mode.. what to do.. no other problems.
I have a few questions if anyone could answer. I am looking to get hands on this phone but making sure everything goes as I expect.
1.Does any member have knowledge which of this Device variants (XT1942-1, XT1942-2, XT-942-3) qualify for "Unlocking Boot-loader" and which variant does not support unlocking. I am lookig for 4/64gb Chef.
2. Is there Any Custom Pie Rom with Solid stability + Efficient & Effective Kernel?
3. Does stock Motorola Camera app works 100% in a custom flashed Rom as it does in Stock Rom or we have to use Google Pixel Camera apps as an alternative?
4. Is there anyway to get back to stock image from Custom rom.
5. How to recover the device from a Hard Brick.
6. Not but least. How well this device performs while playing PUBG.
I just clean flashed the newest build. Everything was working fine. But now it is in a bootloop and cannot access fastboot. When i boot into fastboot mode, it automatically reboots. Any idea why is this.
Help with VoLTE.
I don't find LTE/CDMA/UMTS in network type when I'm in testing mode. Please help!
BTW I'm currently on 14-05-2020 build.
@RohanHasabe8 the In call volume issue still exists in the latest build.Apart form this one issue the ROM is flawless. Can we expect the in call volume fix in next build?
Bug in loudspeaker.
Only left channel is being played from loudspeaker.
Is this a bug? Or am I the only one experiencing this?
This is great Rom but... Every 2nd system update is breaking Bluetooth like last with new security update fixed the Bluetooth and the new with "fix" for Bluetooth headset in calls broke it... Bluetooth is no longer starting up all I'm getting are 2 dots on icon and then system tells me that Bluetooth is crashing repeatedly... I haven't viped anything I updated by system update in settings
Is anyone facing this issue where the phone just starts restarting again and again after some time of flashing
