AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known as Android Ice Cold Project, which started on the HTC Desire HD. Since then many features and tweaks have been added to the ROM. Until Android Lollipop AICP has been AOKP based. Since AOKP stopped the development, we switched the base to CyanogenMod (now LineageOS). This ROM is always based on the latest code of LineageOS 14.1. AICP is one of the most highly customizable roms that you can install on your mobile device. Some of our devices are being built as nightlys and some as weeklys. Please don't complain or ask for ETA, if there is no update.

Cant wait to try this i loved aicp on my g4 and note 2 ???

Wow, yes
Something new

Sofar the only issue I've faced was system ui stopping after I enabled nav buttons but a restart fixed it

Thanks for the work. Have downloaded the ROM, but have a question before installing it. Would it require a separate kernel on SM-N910G?

Wrong info
Deleted

Does VoLTE work?

Yes :good: It works
Amazing , this ROM is good with a lot of options

Just discovered this ROM, can I have some information about it? I'd like to now stuff like customization, Substratum support, kernel, general performance, battery life and anything you think may be relevant. I've been on RR for the last weeks and I unfortunately don't have a lot of time to try every new ROM myself, but, you know, I read 7.1.2 and my attention gets caught immediately

Substratum works as for the rest its too soon to say but sofar I've had no issues since installing it last night. Once charged I unplugged it and mine lost 4% battery from midnight till 10.30am whilst on stand-by.

How is it going so far? I'm seeing few downloads so maybe someone can share their opinion.
I'm running it from a week or so and because I was quite happy with it (and had a bit of time) I decided to share a build. I'm not a "power" user, I was happy with LineageOS too but needed a change for a bit (or maybe longer) so here comes AICP 12.1 for trltexx.
To anyone asking about:
VoLTE: NO
trltedt(SM-N910G) support: YES
Substratum: YES
Something else: Try it out and you'll find out
I'm quite busy lately, so I'll share (probably) a build per week (maybe more maybe less, no promises) or if I change my mind about this ROM I'll just share an "how to" build it yourself.
The device tree and kernel are practically the same as the LineageOS ones, so I'll still be (when I'll have time) updating those repos (trltexx, trlte-common, kernel).
P.S.: I'm including @fattire's CMSPen so the spen is working/recognized and if you're a user of Note Buddy you don't need "CM S Pen Add-on".

Wish I could press thanks button a thousand times for this build! So glad you did it...
Debloated (no nfc, no weather, no latin IME, no fingerprints, no gapps, no KA, no substratum), it's fantastic, fast, obvious, options are great, everything is working great (SOT [email protected]%). 4G and wifi connection are extremely fast (even better than TW...). For the first time I'd like to test spen...
A huge huge thanks @_mone for this brilliant work!
Have a nice week

Love the ROM sofar @_mone are there any plans to make it official? It would be great to get it added the aicp list.

This ROM is very good and for the first time I am really happy with a LineageOS build.
I don't use substratum because I find it a little buggy
Haven't had any reboot or whatsoever and BATTERY LIFE is very good :good:
Just to mention, because it's an 7.1.2 build , I fully wiped my internal storage (I mean everything ) before flashing

Where is disable soft buttons choice please?????????
All other work perfect!
Bluetooth voice work perfect!

Please, can this be flashed on N910P with an appropriate kernel and data fix?

Is there any way to disable soft buttons? I use only Nav bar buttons and I cant find any choice, for dissable soft buttons. Now they work the same time with Nav buttons. Thanks....!

Spen work?

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Even though people did not show much interest for this rom, I still got us nightlies for it. People would ask " but why??" and I'll answer them this:
You don't have to use anything I bring. It is your choice from the beginning to flash a custom rom. I am bringing to opportunity. I always believed in having a big variety from which I can choose from. I succeed in my mission to bring opportunity when even one person uses this knowing he had the freedom to do so, and choose whatever he wanted. It is always better to have the opportunity and not use it, but it is there for when you want it.
Have a nice day

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. I'll remind you these are nightlies so there might be some random Valentino Rossi's here and there. Hopefully we can remove them on the next build.

That's cool i just found it too... Looks like the developers are big funs of Valentino..
The ROM is nice though and smooth. But there is no LiveDisplay at settings or QS ( i'm at yesterdays build ) .
The funny thing is that i got a notification about the LiveDisplay feature, i clicked it and opened it but didn't work, but my setting didn't crash..
And a question here, what's all about with System UI tuner?
Can anyone try and download the latest build from site and tell me if he can? Because when i try to see changelog or download any build for any device i get timed out, but the rest of the site works fine!

Redmi 3s is a different device..don't think Anik will go for this as he don't own the device.
What are developer needs for creating a ROM for the community?
Because if there are a lot of people around here in the community who wants a CM13 rom for RM3S maybe we can donate something?
And the developer can pay the rest of the amount and starts creating great things. Now we are depending on 1 developer who maybe can update(OTA) the rom..

I can't find it in the ROM. Not in the normal place.
So far the ROM is good. Fast and seems stable. Too bad i don't really have the time to test it these days
edit: whoops. Found the AICP extra's menu. More behind the hamburgermenu. Damn this ROM has a lot settings. I love that

I'm following your CM13 for Redmi 3/3Pro and now AICP. Sincerely, I envy Redmi3/pro users , because I've a Redmi 3s and there is a couple of custom ROMs (I think kernel sources doesn't released yet). I would like to see your ROMs for 3S too, if some day you would like to do that and need testers here you have one
Regards and congrats!
@Anik_khan any plan to make custom kernel for our ido? I saw your work on sprout and Taoshan. Hope you will make it for our device too. Thank you for your work.

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we are now actually LOS based.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or LOS team, if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't LOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Second screen does not work here so please don't ask.
You tell...
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Nougat. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it, and go!
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!
TWRP is the recommended custom recovery (and needed for OTA Updates)
1. full wipe
2. flash ROM
3. flash GApps
(The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
.
KERNEL:
Kernel in this ROM follows LOS source.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM/LOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery.

It has the get.prop block. If you want to flash this bad boy, you need to delete the first few lines, until the "mount" line if I remember right. Test it. See if it works.

Been using it for a day so far and I quite like it. Especially with how Magdisk is integrated. Battery has been meh so far but it hasn't calibrated yet so I'll give it a break.

when you do a h910 build would you consider adding Zen and sio schedulers?

I was thinking about studying to build ROMs but the summer break is over for me and I don't think I would be regularly active anymore, let alone flash ROMs on any of my device.
Whoops, I think I think went too off-topic. So anyways, I'll talk about the ROM.
I haven't used it yet but I have used it in the past on my Sony Xperia Z1 and it was pretty smooth so I am excited to see this one for the Moto G4 Play.
And sorry about the off-topic speaking.
Haven't come across a problem yet with this, been running it since it was released Finally found my replacement for Zephyr. Also brings some nostalgia to when I owned my Nexus 4, AICP was the main ROM I ran on it

I've updated the post
Home clock is an option to have two times kept when traveling for example, one with the time at your current location and one with the time at your home, another time zone. Not sure if that was the problem, haven't had it since. I'm now back on your newest Validus release but the AICP was certainly an excellent second choice!

Screw'd was created to be a more optimized and speedy ROM for Nexus & Pixel devices. We combine the best features with a slimmed down base to give you one of the fastest, feature-filled ROMs available. Screw’d is updated, compiled, and tested daily to ensure that we use the latest, stable code base straight from AOSP (Android Open Source Project). This means that we stay up-to-date with Google’s security patches and features, and we’ll never add code that isn’t required. We also post ALL of our source code so you can see all of the changes we make, and even compile Screw’d yourself. Although Screw’d was originally created for Nexus devices in mind, it is possible to port our ROM to work with other devices. As proof, we have ported Screw’d to non-Nexus devices such as the OnePlus 5.

Great build... Thanks a lot dev... For bringing another rom for potter.. Spending your precious time on working for the development of rom.
This ROM is looking & running really nice so far, have just installed & setup but with no issues at all. You should mention the KCAL support in default kernel, and I also greatly prefer the stock/square-or-default-shape icons. Never thought I'd be this glad to get screw'd!
Very nice ROM still didn't find any issues working very well thanks dev
awesome job on putting omniswitch into this; afaik, this is the only rom other than omni that has it!
has anyone tested microg on this? also, my nano or higher on the gapps?

I'm using the micro 20180423 gapps with no issues, but don't use microg. Where is omni switch? I don't see any icon and can't find it in the custom settings. I'm using Lawnchair launcher though, so if it's part of the Pixel launcher that would explain why I can't.
Anybody having BT calling issues? I haven't flashed yet but want to try this out but that is important to me. If anybody tries please give feedback. Thanks in advance

I haven't flashed yet, so I'm not sure... I just noticed it listed under "Recents" in the info section... perhaps it's in Screw'd's custom settings?

No, omniswitch is not there yet but it may be planned to add in the future, maybe OP can say. I haven't compared everything else on the features list but believe most of it is available in the current version.

Yeah, just flashed and can confirm omniswitch is nowhere... irritating because that's the reason I flashed. Looks like it's back to Omni...
Can't receive or make calls!!!
I'm retired & mainly use my land line but noticed today that incoming cell calls weren't ringing but going straight to voicemail, then when trying to call vm the call immediately ends, and trying a couple other outbound calls the same thing happens. Restored my Validus backup and all calling is working fine with the same exact setup. It may be something just affecting me or a bad install, but are others able to make/receive calls ok?
EDIT: Problem solved by resetting preferred network type to Global, had changed it to LTE.

I have seen this issue with the ROM, as well. I clean flashed and mobile network was not working (att). I restarted and the network came back. You may want to try that. Once working, it seems to be stable.

Had the exact same issue as you, was traveling at the time and my data just crapped out. Couldn't reconnect even after reboot, only changing roms fixed the issue. US unlocked 64GB variant and cricket wireless.

I found the problem which was self-inflicted - under preferred network type I had changed it from Global to LTE (usually there is a different short 3-choice list there where I always select LTE) thinking it was set incorrectly, so after reselecting Global my cell calling works fine. Actually my cellular data was working well despite that wrong setting yesterday while I was out, but I didn't use it for very long.

Not here - made no cellular setting changes. After first boot, radio icon was empty and calls/texts were not possible. WiFi was fine. I cold booted phone and all is well, since.
