Tab s3 bootloader - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Questions & Answers

Is the bootloader of tab s3 locked ?? Will it be difficult to develop custom ROMs to this device because of Sammy not releasing kernel sources ? This will be my first Samsung device and I have no idea how things work .
Thank you.

[Q] Can I flash HTC AOSP rom to Galaxy Ace?

Hi there,
I am a newbie to Android however have flashed many roms which are build for galaxy Ace by our wondorful devs at XDA. (thanks to them)
I have this question to quench my knowledge thirst,... can i flash HTC's AOSP rom like oxygen to my galaxy ace since android is an open source platform. Also i think a rom has a bootloader in itself so i think there should not be a problem.
Your guidence will be highly appreciated.

Unless you want to hard brick your phone, I wouldn't. But if you have warranty or a good insurer go for out and post your findings!

[Q] Why there are only Tow roms for GT-I9100G?

Why there are only Tow roms for GT-I9100G?
i hope that Developers will answer this question because there are only Joffo and
SuperROM ..
guys we are also SGS2 Owners ... but with a different model GT-I9100G
new phone, not many developers have one or access to one.
It will take time to take apart the phone and develope roms and other related items.
The same thing is happening with I9100 P model.
Also everyone is waiting for a stable release of ICE to be developed as most future rom development will be based off of ICS.
Donate a phone to the DEVs why should they buy a phone for your pleasure .

Smashed the phone yet ? Need spare parts

About Galaxy S 3

Hello everybody.
I used to own a Sony Xperia P, too bad it got bricked and I'm looking forward on getting a Galaxy S3 i9300.
Can anyone please tell me about it's support. I mean let's say I want to install CM ROMS, is it widely supported on by the community?
On Xperia P forum we only had CM9 and CM10 is almost a dream to have, if any one could give me a clue about it I really appreciate it
So far I'm interested in building a custom kernel based on Samsung source code (if I got this device)
I'm not into Rom development, was just wondering about CM support for this device in-case I wanted to change the installed ROM.
I appreciate any hint provided
Best Regards.
You could try the search function You Will find that the s3 development community is very vivid. Top of the line development/modding/tweaking and support. You have cm9, cm10 plus lots of different kang projects with great og support

I searched the forum but maybe I wasn't clear enough in my first post.
I don't really care about themes, mods and stuff. I prefer only installing CM roms for a change, I found that CM10 reached Stable, and CM10.1 is in the works from this website: http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Just wanted to be sure from users who already on this device just to be sure

ROM is the android operating system of the phone. It's of two types. Stock ROM (official one supplied with the phone) and Custom ROM(Customized and modded ROMs).
Kernel is the bridge between this ROM and the hardware of the phone. The proper working of all the hardware features depends on the kernel.
Root means giving development level access to ROM inorder to make customization(which is not available in stock ROMs.
There are lots of custom ROMs are available for your device based on CyanogenMod(an open source after market firmware community), AOSP(Android open source project), etc.
Just check your device thread to know how to install acustom ROM to your device.
Hope i helped you..

Look in to your device thread. There will be any explanations about the rooting method. List of ROMs are also available there. So have a look at it.

Question Custom ROM or alternative Rom

Hello Everyone
This is my first question so if I make any mistake please tell me and I will correct them.
I love my Oppo Find N, is the best I have ever had and it fit my life style perfectly. However I'm not happy with the software in general.
My questions are
- do you know any custom ROM for this phone ? If not Do you think that if I flash a Z fold 4 ROM on it would it work ?
thank you
The rom of other device will never work

Do you know any custom ROM for the find N?
At this moment there is no custom ROM because no one was able to root the device nor unlock the bootloader. Without root and bootloader unlocked, it's impossible to have a custom ROM.
