[Q] Custom Rom on RAZR ?

Hi everyone, after seeing so much post of bootloader locked for every country I've got some trouble to choose between Galaxy Nexus (16Gb) and Razr, I actually live in France, so sorry for my english btw.
My current phone is a Defy on Cyanogen 7 RC1.5 wich I purely love, and I think it will be difficult to leave cyanogen to motoblur rom on razr if we can't get rid of it :/, on the other side I need a phone with micro SD port to have all my music (30Gb+) with me everywhere, so galaxy nexus 16Gb (32 is not available in France) is not as good as razr for that.
So my simple question is "Will custom rom (Cyanogen!) be soon available on razr and will it be difficult to install them on?"
In advance, sorry if i'm acting like a noob and for my english again.

Sorry, but its like asking how long a piece of string is at the minute.
Until a dev can figure it out who knows.
On the plus side the Razr out of the box is pretty damn good

Currently, neither the International RAZR (XT910) or the Verizon Droid RAZR (XT912) ship with an unlocked bootloader, so you won't be seeing any custom ROMs any time soon.
However Motorola have confirmed in a blog post (which I can't link because I don't have enough posts) that they will be shipping a firmware update that unlocks the bootloader "sometime later this year", so you might not be in for too long a wait, carrier permitting.
Long story short - if you need ROMs within a short period of getting your phone, and it's soon, you might want to consider the Galaxy Nexus. If you're willing to wait or your contract doesn't finish until next year, the choice might be more balanced. But the Galaxy Nexus will probably always have the better development community of the two devices.
Thanks for the reply, I think I will give it a try in stores!

new forum for htc desire 610?

hey guys, i brought a htc desire 610 on contract on Tuesday after smashing my moto g's screen in an ironing board incident (don't ask ) and i instantly looked on here for a forum so I could root my phone, im aware that the 610 and the 816 have similar specs, and run the same software, (and were revealed at MWC 2014) so if someone could point me in the direction of a forum for the 610 or where to start a new one? I have came from a rooted moto g running slimkat latest nightly and have done a lot of rooting and development before, on previous phones such as the ZTE skate (A.K.A orange monte carlo, where i managed to get it from gingerbread to kitkat so yeah im not used to all this htc bloatware crap, and want to root to get rid of it, thanks for any help
I'm in need of support for mine too. I'm Having lots of issues with it. The 3G connection being my number one headache.

[Q] How do I root a 24.3.7.obakem.en.us Verizon Droid Mini 4.4.4?

Hello I usually have an apple device for my phone but I had to switch plans and all and now I have a Droid Mini. I am new to the android community and rooting and all and it seems very different and harder then jailbreaking. I am really scared that I will mess something up and from what I've been looking through there isn't really a guide to rooting a droid mini 4.4.4. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. I almost used kingoapp but then heard it wasn't very trustworthy. I really don't want to screw up and "brick" my droid mini. Any help is appreciated this is my first android device and I want to root it correctly.
You cant root it unless you unlock the bootloader. And the only way that is likely to work is an app called Sunshine which costs $25..use the search function and it shouldnt be too hard to find

I bought the Grand X Max 2 & used it briefly as my main phone, I bought it as a temporary phone to hold me off until I could get the S8+, I still own the phone & still use it when home to keep from over working my S8+, I keep my old phones & old tablets use them for somethings to minimize the wear & tear on my new good expensive phone & tablets processors, anyways so I still use the Grand X Max 2, it's actually pretty good phone, the ZTE Z Max & the ZTE Grand X Max & Grand X Max 2 were all great fast smooth running phones, especially for their price tag, I found all kinds of hacks & mods for the Z Max, I didn't find any for the 1st generation Grand X Max Plus or it's successor the Grand X Max 2, I found this extremely frustrating.
I also have a Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-907VL that I bought as a temporary phone & I couldn't find anything tips or tricks or hacks or mods on that specific S6 model, I couldn't believe that there was nothing on a Samsung S line phone, now I will only buy phones from Verizon or AT&T or unlocked phones straight from the companies website, my preference is unlocked phone but if I come across a real good deal then I will take it.

LG X Venture twrp?

I have a LG X Venture H700. Had it for a while now and would like to root it, I heard some whispers a while ago about a twrp maybe coming out for the device but haven't seen or heard any updates. Anyone got any info on this device or is it past the point of anyone developing a root method?
Nobody? Did I post this in the wrong forum or is this phone old news?
I'm curious about this as well.
Im waiting for it too...
Me too...and it's over a year later and still, no responses. I wonder why?
