Post your AOD image!! - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Themes, Apps, and Mods

I think one of the coolest features is the ability to place an image for your Always on Display.
So here's a thread so that the community can post and share what their AOD image is.
I'll start (PS: you can download everything below. I've attached three .zip files):

Nope, just change to image from your always on display settings

Beauty & the Beast <3

Wouldn't using an image be bad for the display? Since the image is always there would it not cause burn in in the future?

Sammy was prepared for this kind of matter. Those pixels move ver slightly to avoid burn-ins.

What if a pixel is green and moves to a spot that is also green and never changes colors because the image is basically green. Will it cause burn in? I don't know exactly how burn in works so thats why i'm asking before I use images in my AOD. I want a picture of my cat in my AOD . She passed away on my lap on Saturday :'(

Sorry to hear that. I really don't know how samsung handles this, I personally don't see any movements with the pixels. But I haven't had any burn-ins, maybe it's because the AOD is dim and wouldn't cause any burns even in a long period of display.

[BOOT ANIMATION] AT&T-mobile

After seeing some photos of the AT&T logo as the Death Star, I decided to make a boot animation to encompass the idea. I found a video on youtube of the Death Star testing its powers. I edited the Death Star to have the AT&T rings around it, and made the planet pink to represent T-mobile. This is a landscape boot, uses the whole screen.

I have 2 ways of putting it on your phone;
1: Non Flashable - Drop in system/media and set permissions to look like this with root explorer
2. Flashable - Put on the root of your SD and boot into clock work recovery and choose flash zip from SD.

my vibrant boots up too fast i can only get halfway through i need to either crop the video or make my phone slower anyone have that video file itself
Nice problem to have! I believe you can speed the frame rate up in the desc.txt located within the bootanimation file. Would be a quick and easy way to fix. Just my 2 cents...

That is an awesome problem to have. Its set to 24fps, and max for boot is 30. You can try changing the desc.txt.

Scrolling wallpaper packs for your Note (1600x1280)

I scoured teh Interwebz looking for great large format wallpapers suitable for the Note.
These wallpapers are designed for launchers that support large format scrolling backgrounds, but you can use them with any launcher you like.

Awesome thanks!! Matches my theme beautifully and great to have the size for scrolling!
wouldn't you want 2400 x 1280?
800 wide x 3 for scrolling?

Nope, the background doesn't scroll a full screen width with the foreground.

Clock while screen is off

Hi
I bet someone has also thought this but is there any way to show digital clock on screen while it's off? I've seen this on many Nokia's and it's great.

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly but If you mean the feature inside the default clock application it quite isn't the same. It doesn't lock the screen from touches and It won't activate when you lock your phone.

Well as far as I know, the idea is to light up only pixels needed, not the hole screen. I was thinking it's the feature of oled screens? Those Nokia phones doesn't drain battery because of the clock. I had Nokia N8 before SII and it's battery time was great.
For example check this app: http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-sleeping-screen
I used it in the pass and it didn't drain my battery notably. So once again the idea is to light up the pixels needed, not the hole screen.
This is the app for you.... http://goo.gl/24ULV

[Q] is there a way to paint all my icons black?

I'm trying to have my phone all black and while the Exodus theme does a good job, it's not complete. Does anyone know how to make my app icons black so that they blend in more?

You can "try" and decompile each app and use GIMP to change/color the icons. I am NOT positive if it will make them black as I haven't tried. I made quite a few changes with it for changing things to red colored.

I resisted posting in this thread back on the day the OP first asked the question...
But why buy a gallon of black paint and a 3" brush, when it would be much more functional to go to a hobby store and get a bottle of Testers black with a small fine bristled brush. It'd be much easier to paint exactly to the edges of the icons.

Here's a couple of shots between yesterday and today; the 1st is a picture from Gardaland on the Flying Island, while the 2nd was taken on Garda's Lake, from a city called Lazise. I'm very satisfied by this phone's camera, and actually it is one of the three reasons that blocks me from going on a custom ROM
Edit - Didn't took these pictures on maximum resolution, but at 9M (3968x2240, 16:9)

Yeah it's very nice, the city is divided by a wall between the old part and the new one, the old is really awesome. A water blue like the sea, even if it's a lake... Surely not clean as the sea's water, but hey ducks and swans was enjoying a bath! I can't say this for sure because I've been there only a day, but to me Lazise looked like a city with a lot of traffic in summer due to a whole of restaurants, commercial activities, the lake, camper areas... there was an invasion from so many Deutsch and Austrian people!
