How to wipe system cache on Polaroid S10 that will not not completely. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Polaroid S10 tablet, build number AS10-20130827 is stuck at the boot screen so I cannot get to debug mode, and from what I can assess, this model cannot be forced to do a factory reset by pressing volume keys with the power switch. What I need to do is wipe the system cache area. Unable to do that, I have downloaded a new firmware image and installer from Southerntelecom, but since I am unable to get past boot screen, I cannot enter debug mode to establish a USB connection. The Phoenix suite loader *does* provide instructions for a procedure to try if the automatic update fails (the procedure is for a "manual update"), but try as I might, I cannot get out to work.
Does anyone know if disconnecting the battery will clear the system cache (if it is in static ram) or is system cache stored in flash ram? Ant advise will be appreciated!

1)reboot system now
2)apply update from ADB
3)apply update from external storage
4)update rkimage from external storage
6)wipe data factory reset
7)wipe cache partition
8)recovery system from back up
i tried to do wipe data factory reset 2-3 times but still hanging at boot
i had not made any back up before this bootloop and also tried hard reset by pressing needle at the back please somebody help me to get rid of this problem and also tell me how to unlock bootloader thank you

MDM does not allow factory reset SM-T230

Someone please help.
The last three nights I've been trying to recover an SM-T230 UK Samsung Tab 4 Wifi to factory ROM. This was a former live demo unit, I managed to get very cheaply.
The following is what I've done thus far:
- Removed Samsung Retail Mode using the 5444 code followed by the enabling of the factory reset function using the code M729Q16K8546.
This left me with a firmware that seemingly worked fine.
- I then went to recover to stock (minus demo mode) using home, vol up and power. When I selected the recovery option the message "MDM does not allow factory reset".
- Rebooted automatically. So checked the recovery option in the operating system. This was greyed out, so couldn't be selected.
- I then downloaded the stock firmware and recovered using Odin. This gave me back the option to recover within the operating system. But still the MDM arose when trying to using the button method to recover.
- I installed TWRP recovery firmware. Used this to wipe all data and recover the tablet to factory condition. This removed the OS at the same time. Upon reboot allowed the device to be rooted with SU.
- Then put the device into download mode, and re-installed the stock rom.
The device booted into the setup screen, as if completely wiped and reinstalled. However, although I can now recover from inside the menu, MDM message still shows if I try the pwr+volup+home buttons. I have tried multiple times to wipe and clear cache. The device works, but I need that button recovery method.
Sorry for the long post.
Thanks,
Carl.

Unable to factory reset a phone (tried multiple options)

So I got this phone that completely stopped working as soon as you unlock it. It just gives “has stopped” messages endlessly. (example video below)
What I already tried:
Factory reset while in the settings of the phone itself
Wipe Data / Cache in fastboot mode
Tried to connect the phone on the PC and reset it threw the command line
Nothing works, it does say it has wiped the phone while in fastboot mode but when you start the phone I come back in exactly the same screen with all the data intact.
Any advice?

Nobody has a idea on what to try ?
No recovery mode you can try from, or any way to reflash the firmware?

RCT6672w23 Rca tablet soft bricked

I have a pair of these tablets for the kids, and the one only boots up to the RCA screen. I can hold the power and vol down buttons to get into recovery. However, my options are: reboot system now, apply update from ADB, apply update from external storage, update rkimage from external storage, apply update from cache, wipe/data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, and recovery system from backup. I've tried to pull images from the other tablet and run update from ADB and i keep getting e:footer is wrong and e:signature verification failed. When i try to load the system.img, it always freezes at 82% with adb sideload <name> Also tried to wipe data/factory reset and it formats the disc but doesn't reset to factory.
The top reads Android system recovery <3e>
RCT6672w23-ANDROID4.4.2-1401-V15-V1.6.0 if that helps at all.
Is there any way to pull what i need from the other tablet to make this one work.
Is it possible to load twrp or something like it from this point to do a recovery?
Anything helps!

Rooting; unable to fully boot

I have an unlocked (but not rooted) ATT S4 active that I have been using on Cricket.
It now refuses to boot; just displays the ATT globe.
I can hold vol-down, power, and home and boot into a screen the warns me of the danger of booting a custom OS.
I can also hold vol-up, power, and home and, after a blue “recovery booting” appears, boot into a screen which at the top says
Android system recovery
LRX22C.I537UCUC0C7
And then the selection menu:
reboot system now
apply update from adb
apply update from external storage
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
reboot to boot loader
power down
view recovery logs
Enable cp logging
Disable cp logging
I have tried wiping both the cache and the data (factory reset) to no avail.
Although it could be a hardware issue, I suspect it had to do with an app that started loading from a repo other than Google. I stopped it but it started generating errors; when I tried to reboot, it wouldn’t.
Since it is practically bricked, I see little downside to loading a later ROM, even with no ability to backup what was there. I have installed Android development and ADB on my Linux box but don’t see how to proceed. All of the help postings I see assumes that I can root the machine after the machine boots; I never get that far.
I have looked for help but haven’t seen anything. (I’ve tried to RTFM!) Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.
