Navbar apps - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Themes, Apps, and Mods

If someone miss it, there is a wonderful app to modify navbar without root!
We can insert emoji, show battery bar, change background, color it or made colored app by app, show an equalizer when music playing and soon apply overlays to the navbar!
Take a look https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.damianpiwowarski.navbarapps

First screen is new notifications effects live wallpaper from @Ferhat78
In the screen it stretch the wallpaper but in normal use the colored line is pulsing all around the screen, like stock notifications

Thanks for the tip. Love being able to always keep it black. Nothing fancy for me.

+1 allways keep it black...Anyway does the app drains battery?

No drain, don't worry mate
It just colour navbar, it's a simple comand to the phone to just colour it, nothing more

I love my navbar app since my nexus 6p

I just noticed something on my S8. I use Smart Launcher 3 and this app grabs the most recent app's color and colors the home screen navbar as such. If I press the "recents" button and then home it goes back to being transparent as it should be. Would like not to have to do this to keep my navbar transparent on the home screen.

Id love it to have a transparent option. Very good app though .

If you have made something like this, or have pics that would work, please share
Well, I tried and failed.. if someone comes across this, please PM me if you have some nice icons that will fill a page as if it were a wallpaper (like the link in the OP).

If you use adw ex you can choose no icons in the ui main dock settings , put icons on the hidden dock so you can at least open your app launcher .when you remove the icons from the main dock ,you can then place widgets where the icons would have been. then use desktop visualizer icons/widgets to completely cover the home screen. Then put the "regular" icons on the hidden dock you can swype them up/down ,they will appear over the desktop visualizer icons ,and will work.( incase you dont want the empty looking dock option )you could put your launcher and like for or five icons there (on the hidden dock), the only problem I'm having is finding images that will look good as desktop visualizer icons

Battery Percentage display

I received my Xperia S today and am very happy....
a couple of things I noticed...
1) on the status switch there is no battery percentage remaining. Is there some other widget or shortcut that has it? I know I can go to Settings/about phone/status. I want it on my homepage.
2) I notice with the email that I can set up multiple accounts. This is fine. On my Arc it would show both accounts and on the right side would be a folder. I could tap the folder and it would open the email account and go to the folder display. Now email just shows the accounts. When I tap the accounts it goes to the inbox and i have to hit settings and then folders to bring up the folder display. Not a big deal but different. Anyone else notice this or a workaround?
Thanks.
For the battery, I installed Go Power.
For battery percentage, you can use 'Battery Indicator"

Battery settings option gone in MM

Hi Ppl,
I just updated my Honor 7 to MM with EMUI 4.0 and there are too many little changes.
But most important is that the simple option of graph to check the battery usage i.e. which app / screen / process is using maximum battery is draining how much battery; its gone from the settings.
Now, we are supposed to take a lloooonnnnggg route for this basic need.
Use the app phone manager and follow a hell lot of steps to enter a screen which shows separate hardware and software usage.
Do you know any basic app that can help me here?
I want something like this which is no more available on EMUI 4.0

You can use a launcher like Nova and set up a shortcut to go straight to the battery setting.

Well, I'm saying that there is no battery option in settings. Hence, it's not about the launcher but the feature itself

In phonemanager goto settings (icon on top left corner) and select SHORTCUTS (first option). There you can create a desktop shortcut directly to the batterymanager on your homescreen

I'm saying that you can use a launcher to get to that screen. It still exists so you just need to create a shortcut to it.

This app will not use much battery. Images in this app are either half pixel images or having in two parts which replace one another to prevent screen burn.
Hi
Just a question
Is it dangerous to use this App ? Screen burn !!!
Thx

Post your pixel XL 2 lockscreen

I know there's a homescreen thread but didn't see a lockscreen thread. Just wondering if most people use stock or a third party or whatever.
I'm trying out hi locker and so far so good. If I play music it uses album art to fill the background.

Sure
AquariOS love??
How are you using 3rd party lockscreens WITH the fingerprint unlock? Every lockscreen I've tried is either incompatible or causes a dual lock screen with the stock locker, basically requiring two unlock gestures. And of course, if you disable security locks, then you lose Google Pay.
Simple
One of my favorite wallpaper so far.And it looks just BEAUTIFUL every time I light up the screen.
