Gb/antutu scores - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Questions & Answers

Anybody with the latest April patch care to test GeekBench and Antutu on their device? I am getting a low 1390/3700 on GB and 135k on Antutu, wondering if there is something wrong with my device or the new patch throttles during benchmarks?

All seems well with mine

With April security patch:
Antutu : 147202.
GeekBench single core : 1738 / multi core : 4172.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just got a Tab S3 (SM-T825Y) recently and it feels really sluggish. I only get 108,413 on Antutu and ~1100 Single-Core, 3455 Multi-Core on Geekbench.
I'm on T825YDXU2BRJ1, patch level 1 Oct 2018.
Anyone else notice any sluggishness?

Benchmark Comparison: Android 4.2.2 vs 4.3

Before the update, I ran three different benchmarks on 4.2.2 (Quadrant, Antutu, and 3DMark). After I upgraded I ran the benchmarks again. Hope this will be the answer to people who are wondering. (See attached image for details).
When I ran these benchmarks, no programs was running in the background, besides my Avast (Anti-Virus).

How many times did you run them? Things like quadrant always gives me different values each run so.....
I ran them about three times and I got about the same.

Everything but the GPU falls within margin of error between runs, so at least we got a nice little bump in graphics performance.
Antutu is disqualified. I am running the factory image 4.3 and the graphics test with the goblin only renders the grass. So my 4733 GPU score is meaningless. Until they update it we won't have a clear picture. Keep in mind also that quadrant hasn't been updated in over a year.

What's a good benchmarking software should I use then?
3DMark Extreme settings and Epic Citadel on highest settings are good for graphics scoring.
My Antutu Scores dropped down on both n7 and n4 after the 4.3 update. Is this typical after the update?
Could someone run the nbench benchmark and post the results, here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1270596 preferably.

No clue what the results mean. Anyone care to explain?

Thanks for posting!
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBench for a description of the benchmark used.
The 3 overall numbers for your Nexus 10 running on the "Flaming Monkey ROM" are (7.8,12.6,16) for memory, integer and floating-point indexes. Would be nice to see what the numbers are on the stock ROM.
That would indicate each core/processor in your Nexus 10 is 7.8,12.6,16 times faster than the baseline AMD K6/233 (pretty old) processor for memory, integer and floating-point operations.
My Nexus 7 is (5.1,7.7,8.1) so your Nexus 10 is much faster in all 3 areas. And, it appears faster than a Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 (12.5,11.7,19) in Integer operations only.
Intel Core i7 (Desktop PC processor) have numbers as high as (49,40,133) for each of their 8 cores (just to show you their awesome computing power).
See http://www.tux.org/~mayer/linux/results2.html for more results.

Why my Samsung s6 G92I benchmark are low?

My geekbench and even antutu benchmarks are low compared to other people. Me and my friend both got s6 recently. Mine is Indian version n his USA. His geekbench scores are single core - 1495 and multicore 5100.and mine is single core - 1422,multicore - 4536.
I never got beyond this.

S9+ GeekBench: Compute Score worse than S8+?

Hello,
I own S8+ Plus, just got the S9+ on my hands and trying to explore the new features, meanwhile i run a geekbench but i surprised when i saw that my s8+ beats it on Compute test.
With my S8+ scored 8k+ while s9+ barely hits 6k.
As for the CPU definetely S9+ beats it.
Below are both results.
CPU Score: 3753 / 8932 - browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/7302220
Compute Score : 6169 - browser.geekbench.com/v4/compute/2090903
Is it normal the s9+ to have this huge minus difference?

I have ran the test a few times and it is closer to 12-13k each time for the compute but I am running a Snapdragon. your cpu scores are better than mine mine range right at 2100/8000

Galaxy s9 plus speed test ! android 8 vs android 9 !

what do u think about antutu scores ? model s9 plus
android 8 : processor 93.000 android 9: 88.000
android 8 gpu: 94.000 android 9: 107.000
android 8 ux: 56.000 android 9: 53.000
android 8 ram: 8600 android 9: 8400
why antutu scores was decrease ? only increase gpu score.
planned obsolescence ?

Its not planned obsolescence, there are many things that affect scores especially going to a new OS update. Kernel optimizations, OS background services and features affect scores for example.
And based on your results:
-5.4% CPU performance change
+12.1% GPU performance
-5.4% User experience (OS performance score)
-2.3% RAM performance
Scores 5% or less is negligible as it is within margin of error. If u look at the GPU score its a huge improvement. Bear in mind I am only looking at your results. Most likely you did an OTA update from Oreo and it isnt a good comparison as it isnt a clean PIE vs clean OREO benchmark.
I myself have problems with PIE update and had to revert to OREO, something are worse with PIE and I have had apps crashing. Also, Oreo is much smoother for me when i did a downgrade, and I will be running Antutu myself to see if I get the same OREO scores.
EDIT:
CPU 89894
GPU 93097
UX 54489
RAM 8267
OREO on clean install Antutu. It looks like your initial scores on OREO was a tad high. PIE does not slow down your phone.
thanks for info

Please help too low geekbench score is there any problem

I am using latest miui 10.3.8 with locked boot loader and my geek bench score is
SINGLE CORE-498
MULTI CORE-1751(latest geek bench from play store) I have seen way higher single scoreof other users. Is there any problem in my device ?please help my smartphone is still in warranty.
Hi
Just ran the new Geekbench 5 and my score is attached along with Geekbench 4 score, definitely big difference so what has changed in the scoring method?
I read recent reviews on Geek Bench 5 showing very low scores for POCO. This is clearly a bug in the latest version. Please use GeekBench 4 for accurate scores.
