Not at the moment, but I'm working on a unified gt58lte LineageOS 7.1.2 build, which would include support for all variants. Running into some issues at the moment, and it doesn't even show the boot animation yet, but I'm working on it.

I'm waiting on a part to arrive in the mail so I can make a debug cable, which will help me out in getting it up and running. For now, though, there isn't much I can do.

Will it work for SM T355Y???

I have been looking for a custom rom for a loooong time. All of us for this model. I'm sure that all of us with this underappreciated device is ready to help you out throughout he build. Thanks in advance and good luck

it's okay if you couldn't build the LeneageROM for T355Y but could you tell if is there any way to root this device (currently running on Nougat 7.1.1)

Got it booting, but because of how Samsung implemented the audio amp, it's pretty difficult to get audio working, and the audioserver is crashing so often that mere seconds after the device boots, it gets super laggy and basically unusable.

What are you using as your base? CAF/AOSP/LineageOS?
Sent from my Mi A1 using XDA Labs

Thanks for the Update.
Please notify as soon as you this lagging issue is fixed.
Basically If sim card related function, Audio, Wifi and Internet is working then I can help you test this.
Because camera and other functions are not that of a priority for me.
Till the time Main OS is not crashing.
Because I rooted the factory OS and it is getting Crashed every now and then.
Looking forward for next update.
Thanks..

Don't know if u got it (its been a long time since your post) but u can root by using latest superSu from chainfire . Just download the beta and flash.
EDIT: TRY THIS. http://download.chainfire.eu/1220/SuperSU/SR5-SuperSU-v2.82-SR5-20171001224502.zip?retrieve_file=1

Can anyone confirm if the IMG or TAR file does indeed work with the SM-T355Y model?
I have been trying my best to install it. The only way i got it installed was to flash via recovery or using the TWRP App.
Odin just does not want to install it, it sits on analyzing file and just sits there until i close Odin
Both methods worked to install the app using Android 7.1.1 but the recovery does some odd things once installed.
It shows some texture glitches on the bottom of the screen before launching the TWRP Splash page, once it launches in TWRP, it just restarts back to Rom.
I have to re-flash the 3.1.0 rom in order for the recovery to work again.
The method how i went on updating and Rooting the phone is as follows.
1. Installed Stock 6.0.1 Rom, then upgraded to 7.1.1
2. Using Odin I flashed sm-t350_p350_p355_cf-autoroot.tar file, Worked no problem.
3. TWRP 3.1.0 (Filename: twrp_3.1.0-1_sm-t355_16317.tar) using Odin
4. Installed SR5-SuperSU-v2.82-SR5-20171001224502.zip and no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx.zip.
All worked but when I try installing the TWRP 3.1.1 it just does what i described above.
Any help would be much appreciated.

great many thanks for your work! Finally lollipop has come to DEB!
Thanks for this ROM. Finally can use android 5.0 on my deb nexus 7.. Successfully flashed this and so far so good. No problem or force close yet. Haven't tried with sim. Everything's run smoother now.
I can confirm that the mobile data is working however I lost my TWRP recovery after flashing it

Flash the FLO bootloader. It's OK.
is it only working as primary via multiRom recovery?
I installed it as secondary and it failed to boot.
Google+ still missing for me here
Just finished booting.
Root is no-go for me (says binaries not installed despite having installed supersu zip).
Gonna see if I can tinker around with it to make it work, but for now no root for me.

That is an affirmative.
Also after you install it as primary, you'll need to install a kexec kernel to be able to boot to your other (now secondary) rom.
ElementalX 3.00 should work fine for that.

root does not work
on this core
I flashed my deb to stock 4.4.4, installed twrp, followed all instructions in op, and I cannot root. Thus I second another user's experience with root not working/SuperSU saying there are no binaries installed. I did install the supersu zip in twrp.
Also can't install Google+ neither from Market nor APK.
Fixed by flashing newer gapps package found here.

Hello and thanks for trying.. So it eventually booted? Supesu can cause those kind of reboots while it sets up. . The cm was was made for Tmobile and international.. You could try to make sure apn is right and change your data connection. Like from 4g to 3g. Sometimes that triggers it. And what modem are you using?
not sure what modem I'm using. Can you point me to one that may fix the issue? also I downloaded the rom you mentioned in the op and it booted with no reboots with your kernel. Reboots happen when I use a cm rom from the sprint side

Then it would probably be due to the sprint CyanogenMod. I can't tell you how stable they are as I have an SM-N920I.. But if you tried the other Cm. Do you get data?

Try checking your apns and that they are correct. And changing.. If that doesn't work.. It might because of sprint device. Fingers crossed.

Hello guys! After a few months I decided to look into building a CyanogenMod Kernel for our beloved Note 5.
It is very much a work in progress and any issues should be reported here, please make any backup efs back ups, and nandroids
Link to download cm13 by rainbow dash. Please download this first and then download this kernel... As that is what I am using as my daily driver and if you have random reboots there are ways to fix that. Just report what is making you reboot and I will help you as much as I can. It is still a very beta build!

Some apps don't work unless you personally remove it's libs and stop them from generating. (eg chomp sms on message send)

[UPDATE!] Due to unforeseen things. I must upload it as a boot.img download it and flash it via twrp and make sure to be able to view Img. Update will soon follow with a proper zip. Please make a backup and report back, any issues. Camera still does not work! Report back with any other issues! Or reboots.

No AOSP builds/ROMs on 7.0?

Hey guys, I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'm wondering if anyone else has compiled a flashable Aosp or near-aosp build of android 7.0? I'm currently on PureNexus, and I'm looking for a very minimal ROM as it's the only way to reduce the lag on this low memory device we all know and love (hate?). Thanks!

I'm 100% with you on this. Minimum is best. I was wondering where the homecooked 7.0s are too.
Way too soon for a stable aosp build.
You'll probably see a flashable, pre-rooted stock rom appear first. Often these are tweaked, debloated etc so can be quite minimal.
Experimental aosp builds will likely emerge soon too but if you're the type to moan about roms not appearing fast enough and the low memory of a device you bought then you likely won't like bugs either. Maybe wait for a bit.
I wanna post mine - but GApps FC (some location provider error) and I am looking for a fix. This commit didn't fix it and I thought it might!

Ok finally got some time to play ---- fastboot is my friend LOL!!!
I used fastboot to wipe and start over w/ a clean tab -----> Only way I get root with my rom at current build is using twrp ---> flash my rom w/ stock boot image, flash supersu sr1 2.78 ---> bootup got root. That's all I can find that works. @USBhost Do you have an N k that allows root??? Do you have any idea what is going on with this??? BTW --- Trying to install as system install causes bootloop for me. So the only option I have at the moment is supply stock boot image and systemless root and w/ the rom. PITA

Android Pie and Oreo for z ultra!! But...

I found oreo and pie roms for our ultra on androidfilehost but after flashing I am not able to get the touch working. I run the rom for half a day, and the touch worked fine using the solution above, i only had problem with the sim card, the rom doens't recognize it so i can't have mobile network and make calls, and i lost my imei too, another problem that i ran to was that the camera didn't worked too.
beside that i didn't have any problem, but i came back to RR 5.8.3 since i couldn't use mobile network in this rom.
I would love to at least have a custom Android rom oreo stable and functional but by the way it will take a little longer for this to happen
...
I'd tried your touch fix but got no luck on either Pie or Oreo ROM. The touch screen got no work even in the recovery.

i wasn't using those roms anymore because in the oreo version the camera doesn't work and mobile network too, the
9.0 version didn't work either, it's always in bootloop, but i flashed the oreo version again and the touch fix
using philz recovery and twrp and the touch worked like a charm as i said you just need to wait a few seconds, the
purpose of this fix is to fix the touch problem within the rom and not in the recovery, if your recovery doesn't
have touch is not something that this fix or i can do sorry. But i can guarantee that this fix works in this oreo
version because i tested it myself after a clean flash, please try again and tell me if it worked for you.

[ROM][I9190/I9192/I9195/L520/R890][Unofficial][11.0.0] LineageOS 18.1 for S4 Mini

The phone that never dies, gets a new Android version yet again.
Samsung only gave it Android 4. Lineage gives it Android 11. A whopping amount of 7 newer versions than the last official one it came with. This time I can present a usable build almost 3 months earlier than what was the case with Lineage 17.1.
All major functions should be working, but keep in mind that there's probably some features not yet ported over to Lineage 18.1.
For root, use Magisk (untested on R): https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk
If you are doing backups of 18.1 with TWRP, and wants to restore one of these backups,
you need to flash this right after restoring, or otherwise the boot will hang: http://www.mediafire.com/file/a454nnpp8l7afbr/fix_rootfs_label.zip/file (Needed only for older TWRP, and not for the one linked to below)

Absolutely incredible....thank you, arco68!
@arco68
THX for your work and this Rom.
Tried clean install with BitGapps and all work fine.
Did anyone try YouTube playback? I remember it was an issue in Lineage 17, and that we needed a fix for it. Just wondering if it's still the case.

It is still failing, YouTube fc's immediately. The same applies to FM radio. Otherwise, a flawless release.

Shouldn't force close, just that the video playback is garbled. Anyway that should be fixed in next build.
First post updated with links to new builds.
Added build for GT-I9190.
Video on YouTube fixed.
Tethering fixed.
Other fixes.
Hello @arco68
First of all i want to say it's one of a great build!
I've been visiting XDA forum for years, playing with different ROMs on different devices i had in my past, Samsung S2 (I9100), HTC Desire HD, Samsung Tab Pro (SM-T525).
A week ago i found my wife's old Samsung S4 mini from drawer, I did XDA search for it and saw that somebody has made some good job on releasing new ROMs.
What i did from stock to your LOS 18 build.
First flashed latest firmware with Odin I9195XXUCQL2_I9195XXUCQL2.tar [RECOVERY][OFFICIAL] TWRP 3.4.0-0 [I9190][I9192][I9195][L520]
Installed latest TWRP twrp-3.4.0-0-serranoltexx TWRP for Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (International LTE)
And followed instructions from this thread.
About ROM, some actions take some time, got some keep stopping messages, but what you expect form 8 year old phone.
Youtube - no problems with playback.
Installed also Outlook and Teams, both working fine only some notifications arrive with delay.
I have problem with sending and receiving SMS, clicking on contacts messaging button i get Could not start conversation. From Messaging i could select contact but can not start typing message.
Also do not receive any messages. Is it corrupt installation or i'm missing some settings on my phone?

Hi,
News on source code layout (cleanup).
Thank you in advance
Great job .......but i have i9192 ... i wait your work for this device.
@arco68
Installed last Version , works so far.
I tried video calls with google duo and signal messenger.
On both apps video is OK, but microphone is not working .
I'm not 100% sure but issue was also on LOS 17 with some video calls.
I've flashed it and it works usually very well, but once in a while the file managers don't see the internal storage.
But the bigger problem is that i can't flash Magisk. TWRP cannot mount /vendor. Is there another way to root it? Or to flash any zip?

Also, i tried to back up my old system with this TWRP version; it seemed to work, but when i restored it, the phone got stuck at the boot logo (before showing the boot animation).
