Hello all. Nice to see you here. I just bought this new phone Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) SM-A710FD INS..
Since this phone had a recent Nougat update and built number changed to xxxxxxxx2CQE4, i was worried if TWRP and SupeSU will work properly or not. Late night, i decided to try. I Flashed unofficial TWRP 3.1.1-0 via Odin, it worked well. took a backup for safety and then flashed SuperSU 2.82 zip. All worked well. And finally, the reason for i did go for root rather than samsung pay, its VipersAudio. I have Viper4arise.zip with preinstalled drivers. it also worked well. No need to wipe Data/Cache.

since Drivers in this file are preinstalled, there are very few chance of bricking...
but dont forget to take a full backup of your Firmware via TWRP before flashing...

Viper4arise link i posted is a flashable zip file with preinstalled drivers. you just need to flash it via TWRP.. viper4arise will not ask you to install drivers coz its already intalled during flashing via TWRP ..

in about my phone show a710fd but in Odin mode that show a7108 what is the reason? You don't need to deodex...just Google the xposed installer 3.0 alpha 4 version by wanam on 2015-10-08
And then download xposed Flashable zips called
1) "xposed-v75-sdk22-tw-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20151008.zip"
2) "xposed-tw-uninstaller-20151008-arm.zip" (in case if you wanted to uninstall
Just install the apk and flash the first zip via cwm or twrp

Just download the xposed alpha then install via apk mode. Then go to recovery and install the xposed zip file. Dont install arm64. Then wipe cache/dalvik cache. No need to deodex. Thats all

Xposed works great without reported issue or lags
I have installed the file through twrp on j7 nd also wiped dalvik cache after that..bt when i restated the phone there is no any xposed apk installed though everything went fine during installation of the file..how come!!!!??????

On latest samsung firmwares(I'm using xxu2bok3 for 350h)im using cwm and flash it with flashfire and don't have the reboot in to recovery bug, before the firmware update(xxu...BI0)have that bug, think Sammy fix the kernel b/c I'm also notice that my phone is faster keep more ram free, even with a lot of app open in the back and the best is not aggressive on managing the ram any more closing the apps when you open another and let it in the back.

Also you could mention that if anyone wants to use Xposed, now is not necessary deodex the ROM, with version xposed v79 beta from artec, just need to free some space and flash it through TW or cwm.

Using TWRP to ROOT on Marshmallow:
Installation~
1. Download TWRP from Downloads below, install device USB drivers and Odin 3.10.7.
2. Power off the device.
3. Boot to download mode (VOLUME DOWN/HOME/POWER).
4. Volume UP once.
5. Open Odin 3.10.7 as an administrator, connect the device to a usb port,
and make sure a blue button appears and says "Added" in description on the left.
6. Select AP or PDA for older Odin and search for the downloaded tar file.
7. Uncheck auto reboot from the second tab.
8. Start flash and you should see the succeeded command.
9. Unplug the device and long press POWER until it powers off or remove the battery.
10. Reboot to TWRP and enjoy! (VOLUME UP/HOME/POWER).

Bugs of CM13 :
- Radio FM

These roms arent mine lol. I don't have the knowledge to build them.
Unfortunately its a bit harder to build these roms for J500H,M,G but with such good devs thats not impossible...

So which ROMs are working with j500H? You're on stock as stated above. Are these devices rooted and with twrp? If rooted and with custom recovery tried modding boot.img?

Working:Cm12.1,Resurrectiom remix(also 5.1.1),Touchwiz ones like skies corsi ux etc.
And cm13 ported by zonik.
SoUnd001 tried modding boot.img but it didnt work neither.
He said that he wont try anymore...
Cm13 ported is good enough,but it has only on bug(MTP)!

What a pity! If you"re not afraid you could try Vaserbanix tutorial to change kernel. I don't have PC right now, so I try this and could test every nougat ROM without downgrading, of course you will have some issues but worked for me and its better to stand waiting for devs work. Learned a lot with this and hope you will find useful too. ???☺

i recommend you Magisk 15.2 stable, much better than superSu, you can hide root to certain apps, pass safetynet and survive to system updates.

Yes you can, does not matter witch magisk or su you are using you can flash xposed_sdk_26_arm64 for 8.0.0 and then xposed_sdk_27_arm64 for 8.1.0 :good:

do you know if xposed is working on the stock rom? My model G965F s9+ duos with root (magisk) and TWRP.
I ended up in a bootloop
Is there any custom rom which has all of samsungs features and more. I don't wanna loose the camera features.

That is strange I had everything on stock rom for a while and then went over to Havoc OS.
1. TWRP
2. Install root.
3. Install xposed zip. !!NB Make sure to flash the zip for your device AND OS version.
4. IF that failes, flash root zip over xposed.
Xposed works with gravity box.
My steps of making it work:
TWRP
Magisk Root
Flash Soldier Rom
Flash AGFK KERNEL
re flash Magisk
From magisk modules load xposed SDK 26, install apk sugested from menu, then reboot and activate module.
Now you have a systemless working xposed.
