Disable bundling of notofications - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm looking for a way to disable the bundling of notifications of the same app grouping into 1 notification. I especially hate this with whatsapp, where I sometimes have to swipe so much to see the different messages I got, that it's faster to just go into the app.
In this cas:,
1. I have to swipe once to expand the main notification
2. I have to swipe to see the group messages
3. Even when fully expanded, not all notifications are visible.

Is there a way to just let it show all my notifications in separate bubbles, something like this (iOS10 plua jailbreak tweaks):

[Q] Hiding full-size notifications

I've had my G Watch since last week and mostly love it, but one thing has been driving me nuts and I can't seem to find a straight answer - how can I stop those full-screen notifications from appearing whenever I get a text or email? I know certain watch faces (such as Intellicom) allow you to choose between large or small notification cards, and according to others this should stop the full-size notifications, but I get them no matter what setting I use. I've also tried disabling the Card Previews setting in the Wear app on my phone - this didn't help either.
To be clear, I'm talking about the cards that show up for around 5 seconds as soon as you get a notification, which contain as much text from an email or SMS that will fit on the watch screen. I want the watch to vibrate but only show the small notification at the bottom until I swipe up to open it.

Thanks a lot! We will probably add some new features today or tomorrow, we'll keep you updated.

Really great module, jumped in to say how useful this is! Will buy pro version in a few days if all keeps working as cool as it does now.
Small question here, would it be possible to set a dark theme for the heads-up? This way reduced opacity could be even more useful than it now is, since I find I can't lower opacity that much with the stock light theme of heads-ups without losing reading capabilities on low backlight setups.
Keep up the awesome work!

This means some issue causes the module not to load.
Contact us and we'll help you resolve the issue
Hi All,
We uploaded version 1.3, you can install it from Google Play, Xposed Repository or directly from the first post of this thread.
Version 1.3 adds the option to define in notification rules whether to hide notification ticker, title and / or content (each can be hidden independently of the others).
This gives great flexibility for protecting your notifications from wondering eyes, prevent notifications from occupying space with long and useless text, etc.
If you have any question, issue or feature request please let us know.
Feedback and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
i have a little feature request.
While i drive with my car, i'am connected over bluetooth to my car. Whenever a new WhatsApp message arrive, the app "OutLoud" reads the notification text via Google Text to Speech over the car speakers. Everything good so far. But when there are >= 2 new messages in a WhatsApp group, "OutLoud" will read "2 new messages" because the ****ty WhatsApp stacks all messages in one notification and the notification say "2 new messages" then. So there is also an option in "OutLout" for that problem, which dismisses the notification as soon as they arrive. This works pefectly, but the dismiss of the notifications doesn't set the WhatsApp message as read. Then when a new message will arrive, a new notification is created with the "old" messages in it, because they are not marked as read.
Now to my feature request. Maybe you can add a option which enables/disables a function, which marks the whatsapp message as read, when the notification is dismissed. Should be simply to integrate as you already integrated the mark as read funtion and an event for the dismiss notification part. I think this would also a cool feature for other apps, like telegram.
That would be awesome Thanks for the cool app
Regards
Chris

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback and suggestion. Basically this can be done (configured in settings).
We'll see if we can distinguish between scenarios the case where the user dismisses the notification and the case where a code dismisses the notification, but if we cannot make this distinguish it will mean that you'll have to toggle this option on and off (if you don't always want conversations to be marked as read when dismissing notifications).
We'll update about it, thanks and enjoy
Really nice to see that the dev team is so active and open for feature suggestions.
What about a GMail "mark as read" option? Would be pretty helpful to not have to open the app to mark as read.
great app keep up with the hard work

We'll check Gmail / Inbox along with other apps (Hangouts, Telegram and more) in the very near future for notifications enhancements, and of course we will update.

Thanks for investigating.
Maybe it would be also an option to unstack notifications messages for certain apps. For example: Whatsapp stacks all notifications if there are more than one message for a user/group. iOS does it like this. Every notification is a single notification. There is no stacking of notifications. I think some people like the iOS notifications system more (Including me ).

How To Turn Off Gmail Notifications With Notification Extender?

How do I turn off Gmail notifications on the watch with GNE?
I just want them to show up with the stock Gear Notifications.
Someone? Please?

In Notifications for Gear S (maybe it's not GNE, don't know), you can select what apps to have their notifications sent through Notifications.
For that :
1. start Notifications (on the phone)
2. press the "wrench" icon in the upper right corner to enter settings
3. Uncheck "Read Gmail Notifications"
If it's still showing notifications, you can use 2 other methods :
A. filter by notifications text
- in the settings use the "Do not read notifications containing ..." and add whatever text you know will always show up
B. selective notificationns
- in the settings activate the "Do you want to be asked for new...", this will make the app ask you for each new notification type. When the dialog shows up (when you get a notification from a new program) you can choose to send the notification or to ignore it
In case GNE and Notifications are not the same app, you should look into GNE's settings and see if it has similar ways to choose what notifications it sends.
But, then I won't see Gmail notifications at all, instead of only seeing them once, versus twice, which happens now with GNE.

If you only disable GNE to send the notifications and leave the standard Gear S notifications active for Gmail then you should get just one notification (the standard one).
If you instead want to get the notification just from Notifications Extended, well, i for one didn't manage to do that.
When i disable notifications for Gmail from the standard Gear S notifications then the Notifications Extended doesn't send the notifications either. I might have something configured incorrectly though, haven't played too much with the settings.

Disable peek notifications (heads up notifications)

So basically i hate that intrusive notification that takes half your screen. and didn't find a way to disable it.
Samsung did improve the whatsapp notification, it's much smaller now, but facebook for example still displays the same old intrusive notification...
Anyone out there knows how to disable that?

Question Realme GT 5G - a few functionality issues

Hello,
I have been the owner of the Realme GT 5G phone for 2 weeks - it has Andoird 11 (v RMX2202_11_A.11) with realme UI 2.0. I spent hours trying to configure a few things, but I failed. As I didn't get the desired results, I decided to try to find help on the forum.
So, starting from the beginning:
1. I have a problem with the Facebook Messenger app, because when I work in vibration mode, notifications coming from the app are only signaled with a very short and delicate vibration. This vibration lasts for about 1 millisecond, which I can barely feel when I'm holding phone in my hand and expecting the notification. I checked vibration for notifications from other applications and they work properly.
a) I have all notification settings turned on in the Messenger app.
b) In settings -> Sounds and vibrations -> vibration intensity -> the sliders for the vibration with the ring and the vibration with the notification I have set to maximum
c) Battery settings for Messenger app are "optimization off"
When I have ring mode on, the Messenger notifications are properly signaled with a sound.
So what is wrong with vibration pattern for this app? Why the notifications are not properly signaled? What can I do to get normal vibration notification?
2. I have 2 games in "Game space app", version of the app is 4.5.27_6d29cc7_210603.
a) When I'm using app #1 - the Messenger chat bubbles are on top of the app, so I can see them for the entire time <- and that's what I would like to achieve.
b) When I'm using app #2 - the Messenger chat bubbles are hiding under the app #2, so I have to show the navigation bar (swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen), to see chat bubbles on the screen.
In settings for Messenger I have set "Display over other apps" as on.
Which setting is responsible for this feature?
3. Another problem with notifications from some apps (inter alia: Gmail, and game #1).
I'm using original Always On Display mode.
The problem is that some notifications don't come when the phone is locked and Always On Display is working.
Notifications from text messages, calls, facebook messenger or game #2 arrive normal, at the time of their receipt.
But from Gmail or game #1 notifications only arrive when I press the power button and wake up the screen. So when the screen is locked, there are no chances to get notification from those apps. This is silly because notifications are there to notify you of an event when you are not using your phone. But in this case, they only notify when the phone is in use.
a) Battery settings for these apps are "optimization off", "allow auto startup", "allow background activity".
b) In notification settings these apps have all settings on. They can notify everywhere and everytime but that doesn't solve the problem.
What else can I do, to receive these notifications on time?
Thank you for your help
