Nougat Font Change Option Dissapeared - AT&T HTC One (M9)

Under personalization on Nougat and older software version there was the option to change the system font and the default font size. For some reason the option to change the font has disappeared while the option to change the font size is still there. Any one else ran into this issue?

I'm going MAD trying to replace the horrid and difficult to read system font for LG Stylo 3. It can't be done under the font option in Nougat. I've tried various font apps that say they are compatible with unrooted phones, but NONE of them have worked. It's infuriating that a simple font style can't be the client's choice without a root.
If anyone figures out how to do this, PLEASE help us!!

Have you tried going to the LG theming app? I found I was able to change the font under the HTC theme standalone app

Yes, it doesn't change the system font. I still see the horrid outline font across my apps including my text messages. I wish I could share a screen shot here from my computer, but this thing here asks for the url??

You need to change the font size, it's too big for the allowed space. Try this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990853

How to change the clock font?

Wasn't sure the right place for this question, but I've noticed that many of the themes use a custom font for the status bar clock.
How would I go about changing the font? Would prefer the stock honeycomb clock font instead of the TouchWiz look. I tried this method in reverse, but couldn't determine which font Samsung uses.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Kav
ill stand corrected as i havnt actually tried this befor but in system/app/systemui.apk/assets/fonts theres some fonts called android clock give it a go
Thanks! So I guess this means I need to learn how to unpack/repackage an apk. Then do I need to reinstall it?

I was afraid of that. I assume that each theme here is created/locked to a particular ROM as well? (I'm using the Overcome ROM at the moment.)

[Q] ViperLTE 2.1.1 Custom Font and Overscroll Won't Stick..

Hey guys so I am trying to troubleshoot two minor problems I am having with ViperLTE 2.1.1 on my HTC Dinc 4g LTE and after exhaustive searching and reading I am still in the dark. Too few posts to hit up the ROM Thread so maybe someone can help..
Issue #1:
I cannot get any custom font pack downloaded through Venom Hub to Stick. It seems to last for a random amount of time each time I apply it through the Venom Hub and then eventually I get this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Each time I do a full reboot the phone reverts back to the stock font. Applying the custom font pack through Venom Tweaks does not work either...
Issue #2:
I cannot get the Overscroll color to change from red using Venom Tweaks Menu. I select a color and the Overscroll stays red.
Anyone found a way to get around these two issues? Again any help on these would be much appreciated... Thanks for all you do.
hey for custom font try installing a font using rom toolbox
as far as overscroll goes beats me bro it will never stick either
I use jelly bean roboto font its a bit finer than ics roboto. I flash myself in recovery if you want it I'll give it to you I can't credit where it came though from I've long forgot who I got it from.

cheers

Are you able to customise the theme??
Initially I tried to use an existing theme and changed the fonts, it saved the new theme... But no changes appeared when I applied the theme.

Yes, able to customize.
Please check if it over wrote the existing theme. That could probably be the reason.
Otherwise, everything works as described.

Round (google apps) icons are not displayed correctly after upgrade to 7.1.1

Hi,
after upgrading to Android 7.1.1 I realized, that some of the Icons inside the appdrawer/homescreen are not displayed correctly.
With Android 7.1.1 round Icons were introduced. Some of the Icons are just fine, like Maps or Google+,Google keep etc., while other google apps (like playstore, inbox, drive, gmail etc) are round, but they have a white space around the icon which has shrunk in size.
These Icons normally should be displayed like the first three I mentioned.
This problem seems only to be appearing with google apps. There are apps which are not displayes as round, but that is okay since they do not have a round Icon by default.
The issue can be seen on the attached screenshot.
after updating I did not do a hardreset, which supposedly fixes this issue, and I do not plan on doing so at the moment.
I am looking for a solution, which does not force me to do perform reset.
I am thankful for every clue I can get to solve this issue
Hopefully I can be understood, since english is not my first language.

You can reset your system. After that, all icons will be shown correctly.
Maybe you can try wiping data and cache from your Launcher.

A reset is not an option at the moment. That is why I am looking for another solution. I already wiped the cache and data from the launcher (nova) and google now launcher, which I do not use.
It seems that the settings (how the Icons are shown - maybe another cache) for the stock icons are stored elsewhere.
Furthermore I already tried formatting the cache partition from recovery mode.
Hm, the last idea: Try changing the icon pack in nova settings, maybe reboot and revert back to system icons?
