Shutdown your device. Plugged in your device to whatever you're using laptop or pc. I know you have installed your adb and fastboot cuz you have unlocked your bootloader. Connect to pc --> Press volume down button + power button till it gets to fastboot and rescue mode --> Flash system.img, boot.img, recovery.img.

Update ur fastboot drivers
I only get that error when I try to Flash imgs like logo.img or misc.img and stuff like that. Flashing system and boot works fine for me

So I tried to change the ROM of my phone because the vendor's one had malware but it was worse, my phone is stuck at boot screen and can't do anything with it.
First I tried to install a ROM with TWRP, it installed but it was just a black screen, you could only see the battery status.
Then I tried to install the global ROM that is on the official xiaomi site but it didn't work and it locked my phone.
Now I can't use TWRP, please help me. I am desperate.
Miflash isn't detecting the phone, but the PC does cause it listed under Android Phone->Android ADB Interface on device manager.

Hello guys, i have a redmi 3s china version, so i try to find global version, i installed all driver and try to use with miflash that:
land_global_images_V7.5.9.0.MALMIDE_20160805.0000.29_6.0_global_470b843c10.tgz
(if i use xiaomiflash i get error) meanwhile with miflash i see device and i flash it but something wrong , i restart the phone i stuck on the logo MI
I try also to download land_global_images_V7.5.4.0.MALMIDE_20160523.0000.23_6.0_global_dc5d804271.tar
seems is the right firmware
So i try again to flash in fastboot mode with miflash but i get error like i have no permission.

After you run 'fastboot devices' is anything listed? Usually a string of numbers. If not then the computer isn't seeing your device.
Try rebooting the computer, and trying different USB leads and ports if possible and try again.
Using this method you don't have to use MiFlash, and is for when MiFlash doesn't work.
Once your phone is working again you can try again to install another ROM using traditional methods.

Hello, i try the steps you give for EDL, after it the screen is not black but i see again the logo MI, i can go on fastboot mode but if i try to flash anykind of rom i get error "FAILED: remote: Critical partition flashing is not allowed)

Well, you need to do the following:
1- Download the firmware from here
then extract the file to get the "dload" folder.
2-Get sdcard and use card reader so your pc be able to read it as a flash stick.
3- copy "dload" folder to sdcard, then insert it into your device.
4- Get into the recovery mode,
by completely turning off your device, then press (Vlo. UP + power) buttons, wait the device vibs, release the power button and keep "vol. up" one, till you get into the recovery mode.
and from the list, chose "upgrade from sdcard" option (the last one), and your device will start re-installing the whole system again.

What did you do to get your device like that?
Generally you will find the IMEI of your device on label sticker comes with the device box, usually between the manual's pages.
Try this method to unlock the bootloader, it MIGHT work, i'm not sure, but give it a try
Get into fastboot mode (Vol. down + power) then
type this code:

Hi, I have a serious problem with my moto G4 Play. I was on Android 7.1.1 but I prefer Android 6.0 so I tried to flash the stock ROM 6.0 of my device. It worked, but few minutes later my phone turned off.
Atm I only have access to fastboot mode but my Bootloader is locked, "USB debug" and "allow OEM unlock" are not activated.
I can do fastboot commands but I can't flash anything because Bootloader is locked, and if I try to use

It doesn't work
Because of the phone IMEI is : 0000000000000, the Software Repair Assistant stucks in "Processing of the device informations"

Hi there, on the top of your phone / tablet, hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds. Your tablet should force shutdown and restart out of fastboot mode into your android OS. Hope this helps.
Then try to flash latest stock firmware from fastboot ,
like for example
extract from stock firmware :
boot.img
recovery.img
fastboot.img
system.img
now for each one write
fastboot flash boot boot.img press enter
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
etc.
But find stock firmware for your device , don't use lower version because probably you will brick your device , try just with latest one.

The problem is an icompatibility beetween bootloader and OS because they are not in the same version so I'm stuck in fastboot no matter what I do

Hi guys,
I just tried to do a firmware update for my COL-L29C432 to build number 151.
Unfortunately something went wrong and now android does not start anymore.
I can enter the eRecovery and fastboot.
I tried via eRecovery to download and install a new system but somehow it can not contact the huawei server but it even didn't ask me for a wifi password...
Even if i remove the password on the wifi the phone can not reach the server somehow.
I also tried flashing the build manually via fastboot (via teammt multitool) but after this the phone doesn't start as well.
Any ideas what i could try?

If you have the bootloader unlocked, you can try with Huawei's Multi-Tool.
There you have an option called "unbrick".

I downloaded the firmware which was working before, extracted the mentioned partitions and started the process.
But somehow for the "recovery" partition it says something like "the filesize of the image file is incorrect to the one mentioned from the system".
Looks like that there is somewhere a partitiontable which tells a different partition size. Cant i just overwrite everything and install android from the beginning?

What firmware did you have installed before trying 151?
If u can enter erecovery just do it with funkyhuawei. For all instructions visit their site.

If you can enter fastboot flash twrp and then use HuRUpdater to flash the build or use dload method to boot that build.

Can I use an usbstick to access the image? As I can't boot currently I can't copy the data to the device and this one has no sd card as well.

Try fastboot reboot recovery command it might boot into twrp.
Fastboot only allows reboot into bootloader or without any further commands.

When I type "fastboot reboot recovery" I only get the help for the fastboot command.
"adb reboot recovery" does not work as I can only enter fastboot mode.

Try vol- and power button when connected to pc not without connecting to PC.
Or else try dload with otg drive.

Pressing vol- and power when connected does nothing.
I already tried dload with otg, but didn't work. But I'll try it again.
Same here, exactly same problem. Unlocked, no twrp. bricked hard:/
Update: I had got my twrp now what should i do? i cant sideload the update zip @miststudent2011
