I saw a few OP5 "leaked" pictures with cases that had various accent colors around the top/bottom edges and camera hole. I really liked the one in gold. Thanks for the link.
Edit: I just ordered one with the gold trim for my Midnight Black 8GB/128GB OP5 also ordered today.
Are there any cases on Amazon in the US? I can't find any.

I agree that that web site sucks for clarity around selected the color you want. First and this is my assumption from the web site pictures, all the cases are actually transparent plastic/silicon but include accent colors on the top/bottom, trim colors on the camera/flash hole and on the buttons. This is backed their rambling product details description.
Assuming that is correct the color of your phone always shows with only the accents altering the look. So my phone is Midnight black and that web page allowed me to pick either a black or a gold trim color. That despite the gold trim photo shows a tan OP5 cover with gold trim. I'm expecting that I'll still get my desired black/gold look after applying the case.
Unfortunately for you, I can only see two trim color choices one black the other gold. This despite your desired blue included in some of the case photos. Thank goodness the case is so cheap or I would not have bought one. For me this case will likely only be temporary until the usual top brands make cases that I prefer and have in stock.
I like this case's transparent back as I can further customize the look. I have a clear backed bumper case on my current phone where I photoshopped a fitted picture of my favorite NBA team's logo that I printed then cut to fit inside the cover.

Oh, I didn't look very closely at whether it is opaque or transparent. If it is transparent, I may just have to do what you are suggesting with adding a picture in there of my choosing. I ordered the black one. I can report back once I receive it, which may take 2-3 weeks to arrive in the US. That red and black Otterbox case looks awesome too! Maybe someday I'll splurge on that one.

Still nothing on Amazon US, but Ebay now has the official Oneplus cases listed, as well as a bunch of other ones. None of them ship from within the US though so who knows on shipping time. Still wait and see at this point.

Don't get me wrong, I will probably put a case on my phone too... but did you catch the Jerryrig Everything review of the OP5? It seems pretty resistant to scratches... only a razor actually managed to scratch the back of the device. Looks pretty robust.

I tend to use the Ringke when I'm in or around the office, or just want the phone to look nice.
I seem to lean more towards throwing my Bugdroid on when out of the office for the grip and a little added security.
It's situational for me. The Ringke looks great, but it can be a bit slippery at times.

Yeah, but on previous Ringke Slim cases I've had I've found that the white is slippery while the black finish is much more "flat" textured and ads much more grip, similar to the flat black TPU cases. This is one reason why I went with the black one this time too. It arrives today and I'll report back with the feel of it.

That would suggest that the colored variants have some sort of textured backing then. Definitely interested to hear back on that.
I was debating a black, but I wanted it quick and figured I'd just do a custom paint job myself if I wanted a different color.
Really wanna get the ringke but owning one for my nexus 4 I found that they scratch the phone.

They do. I remember this being the way it was previously. The white one was very slick and almost shiny. The black was a rougher texture and more of a matte look. However, after doing some more reading just now, it appears that the gunmetal one has the same feel as the white one. So if you want more texture you have to go black.
And, in looking at my order again I was reminded that I ordered gunmetal and not black. Looks like I'll need to place another order.

I haven't had any issues, yet. But I can see where it could possibly scratch has it is not the simplest of cases to remove.

The Ringke is by far more sleek.. It's more of a "flashy" type case, keeping the form of the Nexus 6 practically identical.
Cruzerlite is a solid TPU case for the price. It does add a little thickness, most notably around the edges. Provides great grip and mid range drop protection.
Can't go wrong with either case, all comes down to personal preference of course.
On another note, I was recently contacted by Orzly. They will be sending me their Nexus 6 cases for review. Looking forward to receiving their products and hopefully I'll get those hope soon as well.

I personally wouldn't put any white on the front of mine, but that's my personal preference. I'm by no means telling you not to if you want that option.

Same here. It cant be too hard, someone made one for the nexus 5 that you were able to 3d print at home and assemble it, i made it myself at school amd it looked really good! From there to it being printed on metal was a small step for a big company :/... I beleive the same can be done for the nexus 6

I am still doing my search for an ultra-thin case with mate finish for my S8. It is something like the Peel cases for iPhone (sadly they don't care about Samsung phones).
There are some thin cases but I often don't like their glossy finish or the case is not well built.
If anyone knows a case like the Peel, please let me know

This looks like what I wants. I ordered the blue one but wished that they made the white/mate version as welll
I'm using spigen thin fit. Matte black and has some grip.

This looks closest to peel/Cali case I always use, will be purchasing this for myself , got the wife a Spigen liquid armor she needs a bit more protection
Received the elago case today in black. Cut outs are exact and fit is good, seems to be a bit of movement along the edges.
Perfect for scratch protection and a screen protector should work great with the elago.

Nope - the one negative for me. If it was, it would be perfect, but otherwise it's great
Spigen AirSkin is the best quality and closest you'll get to Peel or Caudabe.
+1 for Spigen Airskin. It is .36mm and the peel is .35mm. It is *very* thin, bordering on scratch-only protection.
Are you guys speaking from experience on the S8? The Spigen air skin doesn't fit my S8 for some reason, it's just a tad bit too narrow. Spigen was nice enough to replace it, but the new one is the same.
MNML fits perfectly and is the same ultra thin type case. It's my vote for the S8. The other benefit to the MNML case over the Spigen is, the bottom is covered on the MNML, while on the Spigen it's exposed.
I have the Spigen Air Skin on an S8 now and it fits perfectly. The bottom is exposed (except the corners) and the back cutout looks to be different (one big cutout) than the MNML (3 separate cutouts). Face down, it still sits without the front glass touching.
The Nillkin brand of cases out of china are good quality. I've owned a few version of their cases for different models of phone. If you want the slimist case that is TPU and gives some slight shock protection over not having a case, the NATURE line is awesome. I just ordered my clear S8 case from Amazon. can't go wrong with this case. I will update once it arrives.
Also, thing of note...this case has a separator for the camera and fingerprint reader. This actually helps out and functional to keep me from placing my finger on the camera. My current case has the same design as this was a feature I was looking for. Most of the cases has a large cutout on the back which I think was the cheap/fast way to release a case.

I got mine from a company called Bare Cases. Think they're a small company but the case felt very premium. Has a matte finishing. So far it's scratched at the back but I don't mind it cos I guess it protects my phone from those exact scratches.
The Spigen air skin didn't fit good and I just gave up with that.
On Jul 3rd I pre-ordered two dBrand skins for my OP5 and they arrived on Jul 6th. The two skins were the Mahogany wood (back and camera lens cover) and the Hyperblack Titanium (back with red camera lens cover and red 1+ logo). Even though I wanted to add the front Mahogany skins the fact that I've also ordered the Ozly tpsp screen protector made me realized I'd have issues whenever I needed to replace the screen cover.
Attached are pictures of both skins with accessories un-applied and the Mahogany skins applied including the camera lens cover. Notice that the two Mahogany skins have different wood patterns. Running your finger over each skin I realized that the Mahogany adds almost no additional grip to the slippery naked OP5 while the Hyperblack Titanium skin has more texture which I believed would add more grip. This is not to say that once applied the Mahogany skin did not reduce the overall slipper feel of a naked OP5, as it did. In the future I'll likely try the Hyperblack Titanium but right now I really like the Mahogany's overall look the best.
I still bought a cheap clear plastic case which is currently on a slow boat from China. I'll use it when I'm going someplace where accidents are more likely such as camping or a party. These skins are so thin that I don't anticipate putting the case on to be an issue.
This is the first time I've every bought or applied a skin as I've previously only gone with bumper cases. Over all I think the application went well but I certainly don't have the corner flaps applied as well as seen on dBrand's OP5 application video. Most definitely you need a hairdryer during application as I had a bubble under the skin and heating that section and the bubble's path to the outside saved having to peal the skin off to start again. It works much like you push bubbles out from a clear plastic screen protector. Getting the initial bottom alignment applied properly is the key to the rest of the application. Mess that up and you alignment issues multiply. Heating and stretching the skin is dangerous and only helps with the tiniest of misalignment.
The dBrands fit overall and specifically around the buttons is as perfect as a mass produced item can be. In conclusion, if you choose to use a skin you'd be hard pressed to find a brand with a more accurate fit.
P.S. For grip the Carbon Fiber would likely be your best bet but I thought it was butt ugly so went another way.

No, what appears on the Hyperblack picture as a white 1+ logo is just the skin's backing tape. The Hyperblack I picked has a cut out of the 1+ logo then I ordered the red colored logo cut out to fill in the skin's logo cut out. On the Mahogany skin I chose not to have any 1+ logo so the skin was solid (no logo cut out at all). The Black Dragon skin was already available when I purchased my skins. I was tempted to get that instead of the Hyperblack.
I have no idea when there will be a sale. I didn't feel the price was too excessive. In fact I would have only bought the Mahogany at this time but the added $5 for shipping meant that a second skin only cost me an extra $6 and the shipping on both skins became free. That's much like how Amazon prices small items to be just under the free shipping costs to get you to buy one more item. In this case I went for it as a Hyperblack skin also tempted me.

I previously used the titanium and the hyperblack on my Nexus 6p and I can say that the dragon skin has a very similar texture than the hyperblack. IN terms of looks, I have to say that it looks similar to the hyperblack except for the cracked look/texture and the slight silver highlights in certain areas. All in all, I think it looks amazing on this device.
Im looking to grab one of the Mah Wood one and having it under my Orzly flexi case. It looks pretty amazing with the wood skin. Would you be able to show off the sides of the phone? I would love to see the fit on the sides

Looking good!! I've ordered mine but with red logo cutout. Is there good grip with the black dragon skin? My only quirk with this device so far is how slippy the back is and was hoping the black dragon skin would sort that out for me..

From what dBrand have been saying, the dragon skins look to be quite grippy. I'd love to use skins over cases but don't trust myself enough

I don't trust myself either!! Thinking of getting one of the rhinoshield bumpers so I can keep it looking nice, on the back at least :victory: Hopefully that along with the tempered glass SP I have one will protect it.. and so long as the skin is grippy I hopefully shouldn't drop it.

Just be careful with that combo on a Rhino Shield. they can rip off Tempered glass and the cases lately have been so tight getting them on with even a skin on is really hard and taking it off is even worse. I damaged my OP3 trying to get the Rhino Shield off when using a skin. best results is to cut the skin so it doesn't go up and down the sides or corners of the phone.
I still remember ordering that case there was no warning on the prouduct page about it not working with tempered glass and when I complianed and got nowhere a sudden disclaimer went up :/

It definitely has some texture that helps the phone be less slippery but not as much as I expected. But it certainly help add a decent amount of grip, especially on the sides of the phone which are very thin and rounded.

Ye my mate was saying the RhinoShield on his OP3t is way too tight and difficult to get off. I saw one on a S8 and looks a fair bit looser, hoping it's a bit looser on the OP5 and fits.

never had a bumper but always heard rhinoshield were the best, saw some youtube videos of them being dropped from 10 ft and surviving haha

I just receive my aramid case for S22 Plus. Bought on AliExpress, delivered to France in 10 days (I'm still waiting for the one ordered to Latercase many weeks ago...)
This case is very well build and add minimum bulk to the S22 Plus. The cost is less expensive than the Latercase : only 21,49€ vs $55 (50,41€) with shiping on Latercase
I received today the Latercase aramid case for S22+. I'm very disappointed. This case has no top and bottom protection and the side buttons are not protected. This case is more than twice the price of the Aliexpress one tested before with less protection.
This case is as thin as the Aliexpress one. The weight is 11g compared to the 13g of the Aliexpress one.
If you're looking for an aramid case, the Aliexpress is the right choice (better protection and price, same quality)
Can you link to the Aliexpress seller?, there seem to few cases and some looks as of lesser quality

The Aliexpress case looks much better than the youtuber version. I personally like first party accessories. I got the green silicon case just cuz the green leather has never been available
Those look nice, I always go for thicker cases for drop protection though..
I like this protector but it is plastic so the side frames will scratch from it so I prefer something smooth and scratch-proof!

I got the full body mobile skin for my phone so the edges and corners are covered! Check on the website you can also get skins for only the back too!

Yes, the skin has a rough surface so it gives a good grip for the phone to hold. Also, these skins are 3M vinyl material so it is thick and protective too!

Thanks for the info I'm gonna order now for my S22 Plus and hope the skins are delivered soon!
I use only matte ppf ptotective film, full frame. It looks 99% as the bare phone. Added no thinkness, and no more slipperiness. Also protects the frame from simple scratchess.
Of course it adds no real protection from dropping. However, it's not my concern as I didn't drop my previous phone in two years after using the same type of ppf full frame sticker - before that I dropped two times as the glass was too slippery.
