data recovery with broken screen - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

I have a Galaxy s6 edge+ with Verizon that the screen went out on me. It still works fine, I can unlock it and hear the volume changing, but can't see anything at all, total black screen. I went and already got myself a s7, but all my contacts, pictures/videos, music and messages are on my s6. I didn't have anything backed up to the cloud, and can't get anything off of it. Is there anyway to get all my stuff off of the s6 on to a computer? If I knew the phone well enough I could just turn file transfer on from the nonfiction bar and be good.
Is there anyway to get everything off of it?

Suppose your phone is faulty, but you want to transfer files to another phone. In that case, you have no choice but to go to the raid data recovery service because only their specialists will help you. I recently had a similar situation, but the screen didn't work there with a laptop either. Still, I had to move all the files to my computer because there were files on my studies and work. My friends advised me to contact the data recovery service, and I did so because I had no other choice. I advise you to do the same, my friend. I hope my advice will help you.

[Q] Retrieving text messages from Samsung Galaxy s 3 phone with screen not working

Hi
I have a broken Galaxy 3 phone where the screen suddenly stopped functioning with a total blackout so I can't use the phone at all. There is no problem getting the phone fixed within a couple of days but the problem is I want to save all my messages, contacts and other data, especially one conversation text message thread that has gone on for about a year, to my pc. I want the information to be able to be viewed independently on my computer like I read emails etc. and then I can store it on a portable hard drive by copy and paste. Samsung kies doesn't seem to allow for this. I can back up the phone apparently but the info can only be read by another similar phone so it is restricting how you see your own information. I want the information on my computer without the need of another similar phone because what if I decide to buy a totally different phone that has software that's not compatible. The shop representing Samsung who will fix the phone said that everything gets wiped and they won't even have Kies on their computers because they think its unstable software. Ideally it would be great if there was some kind of software for my computer that enabled it to read all the info on the phone as if the phone was a flash drive connected by USB and then I could simply copy and paste across from phone to computer. The phone is recognised by the computer through the USB but obviously it can't read inside the folders on the phone which just show as empty. Anybody know of anything to get the results I want? Thanks.
Hi there,
Try this..
Good luck!
adb pull /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db

Sorry I tried to use these but I really don't know what I'm supposed to do. Both suggestions are completely foreign to me.

[Q] S3 screen (possibly digitiser) issues

So I have a Galaxy S3 that took a drop, and while the glass is not cracked, the touch screen does not work (all physical and capacitive buttons still work). I was thinking its no biggie since my phone plan ended, so I bought an S5. However I realised that I had never made a backup of the contacts and messages on that phone, as I didn't use a Google account on the phone (I used the phone for just work-related calls, messages, emails, documents and photos - yes its a stupid mistake). Also the last time I connected my phone to the computer, it was in mass-storage mode instead of MTP.
Since the screen does not work, I have no way to salvage my contacts and messages. When I try to connect my phone to the computer, I cannot find a folder which stores these when I use Windows Explorer. Also Kies won't connect to the phone because it keeps saying that the phone needs to be in MTP. But since the screen doesn't work, I cannot change the USB mode. The phone is also not rooted/has no recovery installed.
I'm thinking about installing a recovery that requires the volume buttons to operate, so I might have a chance of accessing the stored contacts and messages which are currently hidden. However I believe to install this requires some interaction with the phone using the touchscreen, unless there is a way to do it. Does anyone know a way?
If there isn't a way to do this, I'm thinking of replacing the digitiser myself, but I'm not sure if this is the part that's giving the problem or if its some other part. I have taken apart the phone before and there were signs of water damage (rust) on some of the metal parts.
Can someone help me with what to do? Thanks in advance!
Flashing a recovery with Odin doesn't require touch screen.
Buy a phone with motherboard failure and swap the screen assembly over.
Ooh thanks, I'll try Odin, and if I can't retrieve contacts and messages through that, then I'll start searching for a phone with a failed motherboard

Hi again, sorry for this late response! I tried flashing cwm from the official site, but this doesn't seem to have an option to mount the data partition so that I could view it on my pc. Do you know which recovery could be used for this? It must be a non-touch version of the recovery.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Broke my Android's Screen, its blank now. How can I transfer things to new phone?

Hi,,,
I recently broke my Galaxy S4 screen and its not responsive anymore. It doesn't work and doesnt show anything. Blank screen.
I bought a new Oneplus One and I want to transfer all my data from my old phone. Contacts were 30% saved to the device and 20% were to my sim card and the rest were on my Samsung account so its a bit messy. I dont have an SD card so everything is on the internal storage for my phone. I also would like to transfer my apps cache data.. like whatsapp's groups and contact's chat history.
I never hooked my phone up to my PC so my PC doesnt recognize it when I connect it. I don't really want to fix my screen for 100$ in order to transfer all my stuff to my new phone I also cannot unlock my screen cause the screen doesn't work, I do know the pattern though. just saying
So I cant back up using the USB hub, neither can I do anything to the phone because the screen doesn't work and is blank. Is there anyway I can "bypass" the lock screen and force the phone to connect to the PC in order to transfer my stuff to my new phone?
Please help

Black Screen - Need to unlock phone - Stock

My phone fell into water for less than a second. After drying it out, the screen worked for a couple of days, after which time it would no longer turn on. The capacitive buttons light, but not the display. I restarted it (power and volume down), but I can't unlock it now since the screen isn't working. I have a fingerprint stored, but can't use it after a restart without my unlock code. I have since bought an S7 Edge, so the S6 is no longer connected to the network. In addition, it appears that I had WiFi off as Find My Mobile can't locate it.
I really want to get my data off the phone, specifically pictures/videos, etc... I've tried to connect via adb, but I can't seem to get the device to show up. I tried Vysor, but it can't see it either. Kies sees it, and my Windows PC also sees it (can't access the filesystem unless it's unlocked). The S6 doesn't support HDMI/MHL (thanks Samsung), so I can't send the output to a TV.
Any help would really be appreciated. I don't want to dump $150 for a new screen unless I have no other choice to retrieve my data.
I have the exact same issue and looking for an answer as well.
Wondershare could help you guys. Not sure if it needs confirmation on the phone, but it seems to have a seperate mode for broken displays. I hope it works. Which kind of information do you need most? Like pictures, or contacts,...? Because depending on your need, we might be able to find another solution for you.

Might work as well.

Thanks N00BY0815. I'll take a look at the info you provided and report back.
Ideally, I'd like to get my pictures, videos, and at least some other data (my Temple Run save, etc...). Most of my contacts were stored in my Google account, but odlly some weren't stored (I could swear that I selected my gmail account each time I added a contact, but I guess not).
Thanks

I tried to turn the phone off (volume down and power button while plugged in to the charger). I've done it before and it has appeared to turn off. This time, however, the screen lit up slightly green and the LED is now pulling blue as if it were starting up. Now I can't seem to do anything with it. It won't turn off.
Any ideas?

Screen won't work issue on SM-J510FN

I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet, now the screen won't turn on but the phone works when someone calls me, I click right where the answer button is and it works.
MY PHONE IS SAMSUNG GALAXY J5(2016) SM-J510FN, RUNNING ANDROID 7.1.1
My question is; Is there anyway I can see my phone's screen on my laptop, like mobizen or anything, without doing any configuration on my phone.
I have some important files and documents on my phone I need to get them, when I connect the phone to laptop I have to click allow access to storage but now I can't do that ...
Please any help would be appreciated
