I'm over it, fixing.
I don't reconfigure my remotes to often, added to things to check before build.
This error was caused by UEI Android Services SDK(LeTV), before using quick toggle you should open it from launcher to go to welcome and setup process.
If you launch it from quick toggle the back arrow will quit the app instead of open the remote selection/adding menu, just open last remote used, there's no change layout/assignments in quick toggle, to do that launch it from the home screen icon. (Install Fix first)
Uploading a Fix to androidfilehost, already uploaded to mega here
Thanks for your help

[ROM]{D6603/33/53} Fragment ROM V5 Finalized Ultra [MM .291][LB/UB]

Update 2018: Not many people are on Z3 anymore and even less using Fragment ROM, but just a heads-up - Mediafire has begun flagging random files as viruses in attempts to get users to purchase Bitdefender from them (I'm assuming they get a commission) so I have taken the liberty of removing all my files so that Mediafire is no longer tempted to flag them up, and so that they don't get any ad revenue from potential users visiting the links. Everything needed is on AFH so this won't affect much anyway. Just an explanation for some missing links.
Fragment ROM by Dobsgw
For Locked Bootloader. UB has it's own version in download section.
Deodexed Base
Based on Latest Sony 23.5.A.1.291 Global Firmware (D6603)
Includes all latest Baseband 61, fotakernel, 28 Jun Sony Kernel
SuperSU 2.79 and TWRP 3.0.2 included with init.d support added
This is a reasonably close to Stock ROM approach with some minor changes such as XZ SystemUI and dynamic framework for improved look and performance. No soundmods, no unnecessary scripts, no bloat unless you want it.
A solid custom ROM for those who like to make their own changes.
Overtime I may add or remove features to fine tune, but anything you feel is missing can just be flashed over for your own personalization.
(The obvious disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that goes wrong with your device if you flash this. I have taken as many steps possible to ensure top quality and am running this myself, but you have been warned!!)

Fragment ROM Version 3-3.2 Changelog (They are now merged into V3.2 full ROM):
- Updated SuperSU to V2.78 - For now holding off updating SU
- Updated lots of System apps to save space on data partition.
For this reason it is wise to either clean install or uninstall updates in Settings->Apps for those updated or they will exist on both system and data which is a waste of memory.
- Updated to latest Xperia Home 10.2.A.10 (Serajr X Home users need to update to 1.1.5)
- Updated to Latest Xperia Album 7.9.A.0.10
- Updated to latest G Play Services 9.4.52 (438-127739847)
- Updated to latest Google Web View 52.0.2743.98

-Quick Settings accords to theme thanks to bro @Rajeev for his guide
-Moved to XZ SystemUI for better compatibility
-Removed Location Based Wifi. Pointless as wifi drain even when on is minimal.
-Added XZ Settings (no card style) all working. Thanks to @Bloodlvst for fixing my little errors
-Added XZ Stamina Mode. Much better than current! Issues however with Ultra Stamina mode after being used some notification access settings will be lost etc. All small stuff with low annoyance.
-Updated WebView to latest version in system
-Updated Xposed Material Installer app
Fragment ROM Version 4.0 Changelog:
-Integrated all OTA etc into full ROM. See past change logs for all features that are added and removed since V1!
-V4 full ROM now has Stock Z3 Camera so you can choose your own mod. I recommend Cyberian Camera.
-Upgraded Stamina Mode to @kansasboy001 's mod. Much more streamlined and no bugs that I know of.
-Changed Charge Optimization to XZ Battery Care. This learns your charge habbits and delays charge from 90% - 100% to preserve battery capacity over charges without compromise to usage time like SoftCharge was doing.
Also possible via @kansasboy001 's XZ port. Found under Settings - Battery - Battery Care (you might need to turn it on before it learn charge habits)
-Battery Care doesn't work on Z3. Likely due to hardware limitations.
-Charge Optimisation added back to its place in Settings - About - Status

-Updated Album to Latest 7.9.A.1.2

- Xposed Installer

- Updated Settings to show Finalized version
- Updates: Weather to 1.3.A.1.17
Album to 8.1.A.0.24
Music to 9.3.6.A.0.0
Xperia Home to 10.2.A.2.10
- Add 0.25x and 0.75x animation to developer settings - animation durations
(if not there please let me know and I will have to add it for all languages. To test please change system language to English (default for mods) and see if it is there. That lets me know that it worked in the raw format)
- Updated SuperSU to latest version 2.79 for LB version
Known BuGs:
None in V5
Install:
Boot to TWRP recovery.
Do not wipe system as this is done by scripts.
Clean install recommended - perform factory reset before or after flash
Install ROM
[If you have D6633/53 then flash the patch now]
(you can install Xposed Framework now too if you want it once ROM and OTA's are installed)
Wipe cache and dalvik
Reboot
Wait for optimization
Enjoy!!!
(Process for Unlocked Bootloaders differs slightly so follow instructions in Download Section)

IF YOU HAVE UB SEE HERE
So after reports that V4.1.5 doesn't work, that V4.1.5 did work, that V5 doesn't work and that V5 actually does work (with custom kernels I mean).....
I'm leaving both versions here for people to download. They should both work. It is down to users to get custom kernels to boot with Fragment ROM now as I can only provide the ROM as is. My argument is that if you are running an unlocked bootloader then you should be at an advanced enough level to work out what needs to be done in order to make the phone boot up with a custom kernel. You are free to edit the Fragment ROM zips to your preference and modify anything for your private use to get things working (in fact I encourage you to do this to get the most out of your device!).
So have a go and let users know in the thread what worked for you on which kernel to get it booted up.
V4.1.5 UB Download links:
Android File Host: Fragment ROM V4.1.5 For Unlocked Bootloader
MediaFire: Removed as Mediafire is flagging files as viruses to force users to purchase Bitdefender from them.
V5 Finalized-Ultra UB Download Links:
Android File Host: Fragment ROM V5 Finalized-Ultra for Unlocked Bootloader
Due to incompatibility with RecRoot (the method of achieving root and recovery on Locked Bootloader) I have had to make a separate version of Fragment for Unlock Bootloader users if you want to use custom kernels.
The only difference is the lack of recroot so be warned you need to flash / fastboot your chosen custom kernel for TWRP access (only tested 78Kernel)
Instructions:
Boot to TWRP (install this however you want if you don't already have it)
Factory Reset
Flash Fragment ROM UB Version (this still includes the stock kernel, just not root or recovery)
Flash Kernel (tested with 78Kernel)
Flash SuperSU Systemless
Flash DRM Patch
Reboot (it will probably show a black screen for a while if flashing SuperSU. Don't touch it. If it hangs there for longer than around 5 mins (was for me) then it might not be booting so have patience / try again)

I just removed Chrome completely from this since you can get it from Play Store anyway. I did the same to V2 of the Deodex.
It looks like you need to go to system/vendor/app and delete the ChromeCustomizations folder. I don't know why since I deodexed it, but it causes an issue for Chrome.
I have just done this and it works fine. This will be sorted in V2
Yeah try it. If you have any issues you can clean install, but I don't see any problems from that. Remember this is heavily debloated compared to the Stock Deodex so if any apps are missing you can download the addons and edit them with an archive tool like 7zip or winrar and delete all the bloat you don't want. Then flash it and you'll have the system apps back that you are missing
Perfect, the more debloat, the better

So far so good. Only recently installed but I'll see how it goes.

Good to hear. Remember for V1 to delete the Chrome Customization folder in system/vendor/app or Chrome won't play nice.
Apart from that I don't think there's any bugs.
I'm already working on changing the SystemUI a little bit, but I'll see what happens. There may be an updated version of the Xperia X one coming soon...

I will look into it but no promises ;p
It seems to be an archaic and unnecessary transfer protocol. The device would be partitioned completely differently for true implementation and I think it's best left in the past...

Change theme.
There's a black theme that I use.
Try the black theme then in Blurred SystemUI set it to 100% transparency for a cool effect

You mean bright blue or dark blue?
This is mine without BlurredUI.
If it isn't the same as mine. Apply the theme and reboot/ restart systemUI.
If you wanted another colour you need to find a theme this black notification panel. I admit that it isn't actually black but that's Sony for you

Well I use my SD Card a lot and I tend to transfer huge files and it goes much faster using MSC than MTP, I can also drag files from browsers and other programs when i have MSC but I can't using MTP

Ah okay well I don't think I can add that.
It might be something you need to do yourself for your device. I don't even know if I could do it on a locked bootloader
krapster said:
Well I believe it can be done, not sure about the specifics myself but running RXSW ROM it does seem to work even under locked bootloader, great ROM regardless!

Okay well good suggestion.
It won't be a priority but if I get a chance and can manage it I can always add it later.
No time soon though. Taking it slow to make sure it's stable.
Couple things to work out already and I'm working hard on V2
Working on version 2. Won't be released until there is a significant enough change to warrant uploading a whole ROM. So could take a while.
I will make it an OTA patch though to flash over V1, but some manual work will need to be done to clean bugs.
So far...
Change Log v2:
Fixed Chrome issues by deleting chrome customization from vendor/apps (people on V1 can do this themselves. Also delete the ims folder in there)
Cleaned up the systemUI apk to add back some defaults from Xperia X
Fixed org.codeaurora.ims stopped issue on some start-ups (version 1 users delete ims folder from vendor/apps as stated)
Disabled mobile data disabled notification as it is annoying as hell
Fixed the weird sound when taking pics/ screenshot with sound on (changed the shutter sound in system back to default)

[ROM][LOS15.1][8.1.0] DARK ROM [Pixel features][04/15]

Hi guys,
I'm building an extra lean LineageOS 14.1 ROM for angler with a few added features. A lot of packages have been stripped down, only the bare minimum is built to provide a fast and stable ROM. That gives you much more freedom as you can install exactly what you really want from the Playstore. You can install most of the missing packages manually, they are available in a flashable zip on the server (see second post).
My approach for DARK ROM 14.1 is to add as many Pixel features as possible while keeping a solid LineageOS base.
Key features
- Full OMS support (rootless)
- Signature spoofing support
- Pixel Launcher (with the provided GAPPS package)
- Pixel animated navbar (with on/off switch)
- Pixel sounds
- Pixel accent colors
- Pixel bootanimation with sound
- Rounded icons
- Google Assistant
- Night Light
- Night Light Brightness
- Choose between dialer and voice assistant in lockscreen
- Hide next alarm from expanded status bar and lockscreen
- Disable the boot animation sound
- Secure lockscreen (disables status bar pull down, quick settings tiles, power button and lockscreen shortcuts)
- Double tap the lock icon on the lockscreen to sleep
- Longpress power button while screen off to trigger flashlight
- Hide bluetooth icon when disconnected
- Volume steps
- Quick unlock pin/password
- Remove album art from lockscreen
- Date in status bar
- Battery bar
- Custom headers
- Smart pulldown
- Volume button controls media volume anywhere
- Change navbar height
- Screenshot tile
- Caffeine tile
- Sync tile
- Reboot/recovery tile
- Music tile
- USB Tethering tile
- NFC tile
- Quick settings custom rows/columns
- Turn on/off mobile data with single click on collapsed quick settings
- Status bar ticker
- Separate ring and notification volume
- Specific color for 100% charged battery
- Prevent accidental wakeup
- Remove settings suggestions
- Show WiFi SSID in status bar
- Show carrier label in status bar
- Hide carrier label when WiFi SSID is showing
- Hide carrier label on the lockscreen (or rename to whatever you want)
- Hide the low battery warning notification
- Remove the orange status bar and navigation bar when in battery saver mode
- One hand mode
- Choose doze brightness
- Adjust animation scale precisely with a slider
- Dynamic nav bar color (changes color to the same of status bar)
- In-call vibration options (on connect, on call waiting and on disconnect)
Screenshots
SafetyNet
The ROM is already designed to pass SafetyNet out of the box. No need to lock the bootloader (which I advise you to do ONLY on a pure factory image install) because the kernel has the patch for it. If you want root, you'll need to install Magisk, which comes pre-rooted. Then, enable Magisk Hide in Magisk Manager, hard reboot and you should be good to go. Also, do not enable busybox in Magisk Manager, that will cause you to randomly lose root. You'll get all you need to know on the Magisk thread.
ViPER4Android/ViPER4Arise
The ROM is designed to work with both ViPER4Android and ViPER4Arise out of the box without the need for SuperSU or any Magisk module. The SEPolicy already contains the necessary permissions for them to work even in Enforcing. All you need to do is flash the package of your choice.
Installation
You will need latest radio (03.81) and latest bootloader (03.68)
Latest vendor image (N2G48C) is also needed
Latest TWRP recovery for angler is highly recommended
If coming from any other ROM
- Backup first... always backup first
- Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
- Install DARK ROM
- Install provided GAPPS (mandatory)
- Install root package of your choice (I recommend Magisk)
Enjoy !
If coming from a previous build of mine
- Backup (you know it)
- Dirty flash DARK ROM
- Install root package of your choice
Enjoy! (if anything goes wrong, clean flash)
Download

Extras
To download delta updates
Go to Settings/About phone/System updates and use the OpenDelta app to automatically download delta updates.
Delta Updates
Here are a few explanations on how to use delta updates. First, you will need to keep the first full build you downloaded on your sdcard (any full build that have NIGHTLY in the filename will do). I recommend that you keep it on the root of your sdcard until you flash a new build with the OpenDelta app. After that, the OpenDelta app will automatically place a new flashable zip inside the OpenDelta folder that will be used for the next delta updates. At that point you can delete the build on the root of your sdcard, but you will need to keep the (latest) file in the OpenDelta folder at all times to keep the delta updates working.
You will also notice a folder named FlashAfterUpdate in the OpenDelta folder. As its name suggests, any flashable zip files that you put in this folder will be flashed automatically after the update. I recommend that you put all your extra flashable zips there, cause if you use the app to auto-flash the latest build, it will reboot automatically after updating, which means you won't have the opportunity to manually flash other zips. If you want root to survive, you need to put your root package there.

Extra Packages
On the server you will find a file named ExtraPackages_date.zip which contains a few apps that are not available out of the box in my builds (see list). You won't have to flash it every update, since there is a survival script. I suggest you open the zip and remove the files you don't need before flashing it the first time.
Here is what's included:
- Calendar (AOSP Calendar)
- Contacts (AOSP Contacts)
- DeskClock (AOSP Clock)
- Dialer (AOSP Dialer)
- Eleven (LOS Music player)
- ExactCalculator (LOS Calculator)
- Gallery2 (AOSP Photos)
- Jelly (LOS Browser)
- LatinIME (AOSP Keyboard)
- Messaging (AOSP SMS)
- Recorder (LOS Recorder)
- Snap (LOS Camera)
- Stk (AOSP SIM card toolkit)
- Trebuchet (LOS Launcher)
Note that if you install my GAPPS and the complete Extra packages, you'll end up with two Phone app and two Contacts apps. Simply delete the GoogleContacts and GoogleDialer in the system/priv-app and reboot. If you choose to use the AOSP Dialer instead of Google Dialer, you'll need to go to Settings/Apps/Gear Icon (top right) and choose the AOSP Dialer as default phone app, otherwise you won't be able to make calls.

Nope, flash it only if you want. CM prebuilt root has been removed, so if you don't flash a root package it will be completely unrooted.

If you're asking if it's stable, it is! I've been running it on my phone for a good month now and no issues whatsoever. There might be some theming inconsistencies though, as I just added it, but other than that it's rock solid.
If not, I'm sorry I didn't get your question.

What version of the N950 is this for? All inclusive?
There aren't many roms that support the N950U that is why I am asking.

Is the OEM unlock switch hidden in your rom? I'm on an FD and as you're probably aware folks with dual sims usually have a hidden OEM unlock out of the box that is on a timer and becomes accessible after 7 days. This is problematic in that while Samsung is hiding the OEM unlock switch it is also apparently setting it's status to off. So far people who have installed roms after the 7 day timer with OEM without OEM hidden in the rom haven't had problems. Those who installed a rom where the developer has removed the switch have had mixed results, on some it's no problem, on others they will get a binaries error and cannot get out of it without installing stock firmware. That in turns means they have to wait a week for the OEM unlock switch to get off of it's timer...
Sorry for the length of that but before I us FD guys install we kinda need to know about that switch status, didn't want you to think I was asking for spoon feeding. I'd just install it and check it out if it weren't for the week with my nose in the corner if it didn't go well. Thanks.

Installed it on a FD and no issue with OEM unlock. It's active and can be switched either way.
WiFi calling is not working - big boomer for me, can't set a custom ringtone and Samsung switch on PC doesn't recognise the phone, so can't restore backed up settings.
Other than that it's great, many more features than other roms.
Mulțumesc mult OP!
Very smooth coming from RENOVATE, but I am unable to create app pair, the options seems to be missing altogether..
Rog, gonna go ahead and take it out for a spin.
Snap chat refuses to load, google settings keep crashing.."something went wrong"
Had some nastiness here on a full clean install, 1.0 rom though so I'm not surprised about that. I couldn't figure out how to disable the speed dealies on the left side of notifications and to me they are a complete waste of valuable notification space. I went ahead and uninstalled as it will be a few days before I'll have time to change roms again and I didn't want to be stuck with them in case it turned out they cant be removed. I'm sure I'll be back to check it out again, I like some of the Sony stuff.

Wiz *** Pixelize your Galaxy S8
"Extreme debloat: Go where Samsung has never gone before"
*** Development of this ROM has stopped *** (reason: switched to One+ device)
This is an extremely debloated Samsung oreo rom with absolutely minimal Samsung functionality mimicing the look and feel of a Google pixel. The basic apps (dialer, messaging, contacts, gallery, keyboard) are from Google. ROM works on G950F (S8) and G955F (S8+) (I only tested S8 as I do not own an S8+). Should work on SM-950FD as well as reported in https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75844308&postcount=332. Personally I very much like the Samsung phones/hardware but I am not so fond of the software and bloatware. If you want Samsung stuff, stop reading, press the BACK button on your browser, and use another ROM !!!
Upfront "warning"
This ROM is integrated with (a) the NX kernel and (b) a slightly patched version of Magisk. Flashing another kernel on this ROM might BREAK things. Same holds for Magisk. I always use the latest versions of the kernel / Magisk in the new releases so there is no need to upgrade kernel / Magisk yourself. You have no benefit whatsoever in doing that anyway.
Features
The ROM contains (only) the following Samsung applications: Settings (you can't get rid of this), Camera (because it uses all hardware capabilities of the phone at best); camera patched to use Google Photos as "gallery"; camera can be removed via the googlewiz.config file (see below), Lockscreen & AOD (Always On Display), Fingerprint & iris scanning, Blue light filter (optional), Smartmanager (optional).

What is NOT in the ROM
I have left out loads of stuff ... mainly because I don't use these features ... and/or they are Samsung specific. Don't ask me to integrate Samsung specific features because I won't: Samstuff stuff (all left out), Live wallpapers, Wear and Gear (but read further below please), Multiwindow, Clearcover, Edge, Docking, DEX, No call recording for now, Samsung dual messenger, VoIP (wifi calling) and VoLTE (but read further below for VoLTE), ...
Telegram
No telegram group; I don't have time for that, so stop asking please.

(Re)Using this work
Other devs, please feel free to (re)use this for your own work ... I am not asking anything from anybody, no donation, no thanks, no beer ... you don't even have to mention that you (re)use this. We are here on XDA to share and learn from eachother.
Disclaimer
I will try to support questions / feedback. I will not answer questions such as "Can you please add Samsung feature X,Y,Z" ... I have deliberately removed them. If you want Samsung, go and use a Samsung ROM. There are instructions further down on how to create your own variant of the ROM so you can do this yourself if you want to add stuff. I will not answer PMs (don't have time to look at them). I have attached also a bash script (as .txt file). This is the script which I personally use to generate the ROM starting from a standard Samsung system.img. If you are a DEV, you can study this to see how I create this ROM. Again, feel free to (re)use. The usual applies: no warranty, installing this will trip KNOX, install at your own risk, ... I am not responsible for soft or hard bricks. Your phone must have TWRP to install this ROM. If your phone is bricked, your best guess is to try and flash the ORIGINAL Samsung firmware with Odin. Do repeat{ search, read }.
Download (multiple versions):
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=239365 (up to release v65). Files are called: googlewiz_oreo_vXX.zip.
As of release v66, ROM has been uploaded to mega.nz: see https://mega.nz/#F!WUQ2DYpJ!5l3fVDpoXSdHO8p2IfKCvA
See post #3 for a changelog. Please read it as it may answer some of your questions.
Theming
ROM has no Samsung themestore. Install Substratum (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum) and a samsung compatible substratum theme (e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brit.swiftblack.layers)
Splash screen
To make your phone more "GoogleWiz", try the google splash screen. See: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75714051&postcount=189
WARNING: ONLY FOR G950F !!! Do *NOT* flash this on other models; your phone WILL go into soft brick - I warned you.
Other stuff
For heart rate / stress monitor: install SHealth (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.shealth) from the play store.
Known bugs / issues
"Game" battery saving mode is not working (due to Samsung stuff removed from ROM); will FC settings app
Device encryption will not work (as it relies on Samsung KNOX which has been fully removed
Android for work will not function
Advanced functions in settings: most of them don't work
On a clean install, first screen might show a Magisk error, just ignore it
Installation
Make sure first that "OEM unlock" is enabled in your developer settings (if you don't understand what this means then this ROM is not for you).
Make sure to flash the Oreo bootloader (see post #2) if you come from Nougat.
- click WIPE and then FORMAT DATA (do this ONCE when you come from Nougat) => then reboot into TWRP
- Wipe /system, /data and /cache (for a normal clean install)
- put the googlewiz_oreo_vXX.zip onto your /sdcard
- wipe data, system, dalvik, cache
- flash bootloader (if you come from Nougat)
- flash ROM
- reboot
Please mention the device and release you are on when reporting bugs.
ROM updates
The ROM only touches the /system partition. ROM does not update bootloader, nor modem (baseband). Most ROM updates can be dirty flashed except when the release notes mention clearly that you need to do a clean install (in that case, wipe your /data). Instructions for flashing a modem can be found in: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77759235&postcount=3196
Adblocking
For adblocking without AdAway (everywhere: both in browser and apps) do the following:
> adb shell
# su
# hl
The "hl" command will replace the hosts file with a huge (> 200000) hosts which refer to IP address 0.0.0.0; this will make ads go away in your browser and applications. No ad-blocking app is required. If you want to restore the original hosts file, use the command "hs" (ads will come back then). The "hl" command is agressive; some web pages or apps might not work properly. To use a less aggressive ad blocking use the command "hm" (this uses a hosts file similar to adaway without having the need to install that app).
/etc/init.d, /etc/services.d and /sdcard/init.d
/etc/init.d scripts are running once /data is mounted; do not rely on any Android functionality in those scripts as Android is not fully initialized when these scripts run. Use /etc/services.d if you want to rely on Android functionality; scripts in /etc/services.d are ran later than /etc/init.d; see post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76901055&postcount=1771 for more details. You can put user scripts on /sdcard/init.d/; they will be ran last.
Writeable /system partition
Use "sysrw" and "sysro" in an adb shell to make the /system partition writeable/read-only; note that Magik's safeynet will NOT work if the /system partition is writeable (this is normal behavior).
Building a variant of this ROM
Attached (linux; bash) script gives you a clue of how the ROM was created starting from a stock system.img ext4 image file from Samsung.
Kernel
This ROM uses NX kernel and optimizations tightly coupled to it. Installing another kernel may have all sorts of side effects which I will not support you with. You have been warned.
Screenshots
Screenshots in attach. Black screenshots taken from my own fully installed phone, after theming with substratum (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum) and using the following theme: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brit.swiftblack.layers. All launcher screenshots (except the last one) are with the Nova launcher. Last screenshot shows the Google Pixel launcher.
Configurable installer
You can remove apps from the ROM and do some customizations. Create a simple text file with the content below. The file must be called "googlewiz.config". You should push it via adb onto /sdcard BEFORE installation. Then install the ROM via TWRP. The installer will read this file and remove the google apps which have "=0". There should be no spaces, i.e. "clock=1" instead of "clock = 1". I think you get the idea. It's not rocket science. If the file is not on /sdcard, everything remains in the ROM (with Nova as launcher and Swiftkey as keyboard). This config mechanis is very simple, avoids aroma, and still allows a bit of configuration. So as an absolute minimum (assuming you remove all above) you will have in your app drawer: Messaging, Camera, Contacts, Photos, Settings, Magisk, Nova Google Companion, Nova settings, Play Store, Swiftkey, Phone. (Nova Google companion icon will go away once clicked and OK).

For Nova launcher (default); put "launcher=nova" in the config file. For Google Pixel launcher, put "launcher=pixel" in the config file.
For Swiftkey keyboard (default); put "keyboard=swiftkey" in the config file. For Google Gboard, put "keyboard=gboard" in the config file.
Switching between keyboards across releases may cause keyboard not to work properly when you dirty flash; if you decide to switch keyboard across 2 releases, do a clean flash.
The pixel icon pack only works with Nova launcher. If you use the Pixel launcher the icon pack will not be installed (even if you have "iconpack=1" in the configuration).
Screen usage option: "immersive". Possible values are "none", "navbar" and "full". "none" means that both navbar and statusbar are always visible. "navbar" means that the navbar is not visible (swipe from the bottom of the screen to display the navbar). "full" means that both navbar AND statusbar are invisible (swipe from the top or bottom of the screen to make them visible).
The ROM uses pixel icons in the settings, statusbar, tiles, navbar; if you (really?) prefer the original Samsung icons, put "icons=samsung" in the googlewiz.config file.
If you want to know how this works, unzip the ROM and look at scripts/simpleconfig.sh. It is a very simple config mechanism which avoids a complex installer with aroma.
Configurable BIXBY key
By default, the BIXBY ket is set to HOME: the nova launcher home screen. You can put a line in googlewiz.config: "bixby=X" with X being one off {HOME, BACK, CAMERA, CONTACTS, MESSAGE, CALL, SEARCH, CALENDAR, APP_SWITCH, SCREENSHOT, ASSISTANT}
example: "bixby=CAMERA" or "bixby=CALENDAR"
If you put "bixby=NONE" the bixby key remains unbound. This should allow 3rd party button remappers to work.
Code:
HOME = Nova launcher home screen
BACK = go one step back (same as back key in navbar)
CAMERA = open camera; once in the camera pressing the bixby key takes a picture
CONTACTS = open Google Contacts app
MESSAGE = open Google Messaging app
CALL = open Google Phone app
SEARCH = perform search in the current application
CALENDAR = open Google Calendar
APP_SWITCH = open screen where you can switch between running apps (same as "recents" key in navbar)
SCREENSHOT = take a screenshot
ASSISTANT = Google assistant (of course will not work if you have "assistant=0" in your googlewiz.config)
NONE = do not bind the bixby key; should allow 3rd party remappers to work
VoLTE
Many people ask for VoLTE. I can't do it properly ... sorry ... not for now ... my provider does NOT support VoLTE ... which means that I cannot test anything. In addition, VoLTE is CSC specific configuration and all CSC config has been currently removed from the ROM. It is tricky to bring this back into the ROM ... especially if I cannot test anything. I would just be working in total darkness. Please understand this. If there is a DEV wiling to help let me know. However, see post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77598885&postcount=2888 and post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77597891&postcount=2885, these might give some hints to try and make it work.
Good news: Some people have VoLTE running; see the following posts; thanks to @meldrak and @kuduku
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77663720&postcount=2966
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77669115&postcount=2984
Android wear and Samsung gear
Android wear is not working. Same point as for VoLTE. I do not own a wear device which means that I cannot test anything. If there is a DEV wiling to help I can explain what to try. Samsung gear is working but you need to flash additional package on top of the ROM; see post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76412043&postcount=1102. I have not personally tested this (as I don't own a device); but user zoltain73 tested it (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76417301&postcount=1120).
Live wallpapers
No live wallpapers in the ROM. However, if you really want this, flash the package attached to the following post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76887206&postcount=1752
Bluetooth and audio
Some users are reporting bluetooth audio issues with Bose headsets. Enable developer settings and set the bluetooth audio coded to SBC. Check again if audio works.
Google ChromeCast
Screen mirroring to a Google ChromeCast works out of the box. You need to install the Google Home app (put "chromecast=1" in the googlewiz.config file before installing the ROM). If you really(?) want Samsung's mirror link, flash the zip file attached to post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77390484&postcount=2610.
Google Pay
Google Pay confirmed working (of course your bank/card has to support it). See https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78057564&postcount=3716

Previous releases had swap disabled. I have re-enabled it at the cost of a small performance penalty. But apps should be held longer in memory. If you want to disable swap, then put "swap=0" in the googlewiz.config file and reboot.
It should be possible as of this release to install another kernel.
I have only tried with the stock kernel.
After flashing a kernel you will loose root. You must reflash the file Magisk.zip (this is included in the ROM in the directory called "root"). Unzip the ROM zip file and you will see that directory.

Miscellaneous, Hints & Tips
Speed up Nova launcher
Open Nova settings, Look & Feel, then set "Scroll speed" and "Animation speed" to "Faster than light".
Google Assistant
Google assistant only works with English/UK as main language and you must have internet connection.
Google now cards (see attached picture)
Swipe from home screen left border to display Google card feed (enable in Nova settings > Integrations > Google Now Page; also open the Google search app to initialize it). After a reboot, the first swipe will show an empty screen, just tick on the search bar to make the cards appear.
Google Lens photo analysis
Google Lens photo analysis is supported from the photos app but only if your language is set to English. Read this: https://support.google.com/photos/answer/7539151?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Android. To make lens work with other languages, look at post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76528084&postcount=1280
Google Lens app
As of v53 the ROM also support early versions of the Google Lens app; I have the impression it is not 100% stable. I guess Google is rolling it out to get user feedback so that the AI machine learning algorithms can be trained with more and better data.
Google cloud printing
The Google cloud printer is included in the ROM; this means - for example - that applications which support print function you can print a PDF file onto Google drive.
Google markup
Google markup is a small photo editor which allows you to draw on a photo. To use it, open the photos app, click on a photo, then on the menu with 3 dots in the upper right corner and "Edit with markup". It's handy for marking something on a screenshot. Note that the share button in the markup app does not work. This comes from Android P developer preview 2.
