Is G5 SE H840 has 24 bit 192khz audio support? - LG G5 Questions & Answers

My second question;
Does G5SE camera as same as normal g5 or worse?

I don't know about the specs of the H840 in terms of audio... But the camera is exactly the same as the G5 h850, except that you cant take RAW pictures (only necessary if you want to make a post-production of your pictures), everything else is exactly the same!

LG G5 Or LG V20 ?? which one is best in all the terms ?? camera and selfie ??

I won LG G5 and Thinking to Shift to V20 frm G5 ?? Which one is best among them ??
If you dont like the modules then V20 ( plus, v20 has quad DAC, better build). Other than that, they are the same (V20 is a lot more expensive though..)..
Performance and camera QUALITY is slightly better on the G5

The camera app on the v20 is better but the image quality on the G5 is top notch&unbeatable
The v20 is better in everything connected to audio

From LG G5 to LG V10

I have a LG G5 with B&O Hifi Dac.
I am thinking of getting a LG V10 as i like the larger form factor and DAC built in.
Will i get as good sound quality out of the LG V10 with the internal DAC as i do with the LG G5 with B&O Hifi Dac ?
Also does the LG V20 have band 20 ( 800mhz ) for 4g in the UK ?
Thanks for any replies.
Do not know / hear the G5 plus DAC module. What I can say is that V10 has a superb sound and there is a free app for you to enable DAC within all the apps. Awesome. If there is a difference probably your ears won't notice
I also can't comment about the sound quality of G5 but expect to be similar to V10. If depends on me i would not go from G5 to V10 due to the chipset. Snapdragon 808 is hot chipset which caused many bootloop problems for G4 users and it also affects V10 despite not being as frequent as with G4. If you want a V series phone go from G5 to V20.
Though I never had heating issues or bootloop (H960A) I agree with neptun2, going to V20 if within your price top.
Many thanks for all your replies.
I take it the LG V20 does not have bootloop problems ?
I see it has a quad dac as well, maybe it sounds better the B & O Dac i have with my LG G5.

Coming from G6, this, xzp or V30?

Hi, as the title says I'm thinking to buy this, the xzp or V30.
What do you guys think?
Depends on your needs and wants.
I'd choose the xz1 or xzp cause I don't like huge phones and the camera and post processing is better on xz1.
If you want a good video and camera experience and a more 2017 design, v30. If you want an almost pure stock Android, already on Oreo then xz1

Google camera Gcam modding for dummies?

Hi,
I'm a GCam user, used it on my LG G4, LG G5, LG v20 and now Poco X3. Love it, but there is always something missing in all these ports. The white balance in better with one of them, it doesn't work with wide angle lens. Another port works with all lenses, but WB libs or sensor noise models do not match the sensor. Or there is simply no options to select a different library, etc.
So I wonder if there is a brief "how to mod an gcam" guide available, so may be I can have fun with tweaking another mod up to my taste. I do have some SW skills, plus an advanced degree at RTFM, so just a brief guidance would be sufficient (this is how to add a lens, this is how to add library, this is how to change sharpness algorithms or noise models).
Thanks

What about asking Gcam devs themselves ? Give it a shot, it they want to share they'll sure do
