SafetyNet Gear S3 & Samsung Pay - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I have a Redmi Note 4X and a Samsung Gear S3. I would like to use Samsung Pay on my watch but because the bootloader is locked and the rom is not original (it came with google services pre installed) Samsung Pay doesn't work.
Does anyone know if it is possible to lock the bootloader and if there is a rom that is compatible with safetynet so I can use Samsubg Pay? - Or a way around my issue.

Facing the exact same issue, anybody has a clue how to solve this ?

Almost every custom rom. Just root with magisk.

Help with Rooting and Installing Cyanogenmod on S6 Edge G925I

The title says everything. The last time I tried to root a device was the 2012 Nexus 7. It was very painless with that device, but that's to be expected with a Nexus device. As of right now, I'm very confused as to how to root this S6. I am on Marshmallow 6.0.1, with the G925I variant of the device. I don't care about voiding warranty or not using Samsung Pay, as it seems Samsung doesn't want to release that for the G925I variant.
Hopefully once I get root and install Cyanogenmod I can get much better battery life, as right now Google Services is taking up >40 percent of my battery and I have to charge a couple times a day. I have tried everything I can think of, but I figured screw it.
TL;DR: Basically, can anyone write out a step by step procedure for getting root and installing Cyanogenmod on an S6 Edge 6.0.1 G925I?

Unfortunately Cyanogenmod doesn't work with the S6 Edge (or S6) some devs managed to get it booted but couldn't get much further thanks to samsung's closed source

your best bet is to root and flash a rom of your choice, install Xposed and tame Google Services with Amplify
And why would anybody care about cm for the s6?? It's more or less a preview of something that'll never be. If your out for aosp roms you bought the wrong device

Anyway to spoof my device to a Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4?

Obviously I want that sick galaxy skin for fortnite. I know there is a way to make your device show up as something different but does that require root? It doesn't have to be permanent, just active while I turn on fortnite.
You can spoof your phone but it does require root

That probably won't work as you won't have access to the Galaxy Apps store

ofc there is a way to do it and it's quite easy but I'm not going to tell you because it's a literal 30 second google search away, you didn't need to create a thread
I might a lot of hate for bunping this but i need answers.

Just did this and installed the fortnite installer but it said device not supported
Fortnite for Android is built in ARM64 (armV8) code however NoxPlayer or any other emulator runs on armeabi-v7a (armV7) architecture so it is incompatible.
In order to spoof the device to make it look like something else you have to root the device and edit the build.prop file.
It is also true that you can find this using a Google Search. I would suggest those who have rooted and wish to spoof a device do some reading on what they need to do. It isn't that hard but to find what lines that need to be edited (and with what to use for the edit) in the build.prop will depend on what you want to spoof the device as.
There isn't any other way to make this happen without having rooted the phone. In the case of Snapdraon Galaxy S9+ owners there is no root method so you can't spoof your phone to be another. For Exynos Galaxy S9+ users follow the tutorials on the forum.
Keep in mind that if your wanting to spoof the device just for a skin you also have the risk of tripping the knox counter and all the related consequences.
to my understanding the skin was only available to preorders anyways

ROM Help?!

I am brand new to XDA and the Android mod world. I am looking into the possibility of purchasing, rooting, unlocking the Bootloader and installing either a Custom ROM or AOSP on a SM-N950U T-Mobile US/Snapdragon Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The goal is privacy and the hope is that these elements can be included:
+Latest Android OS possible
+MicroG (no GAPPS)
+SPenCommand* App
+XPosed Framework (for more advanced SPenCommand features)
+F-Droid
+Retain or add back in as much T-Mobile functionality as possible.
*Unless a Samsung based ROM exists retaining S-Pen functionality with no GAPPS.
There will be other Apps/Utilities I am sure, however, this is the main bundle I am desiring. Since I am just starting out, I do have some questions:
+Is all of this possible on the “SM-N950U” Note 8 Model?
+If so, what ROM options are available?
+Is there a LineageOS with MicroG ROM for this phone?
+Does the Note 8’s 80% Battery situation exist using a ROM?
+I’ve read of TWRP and Magisk, do these have any relevance to this process?
+Do you know what “XPosed Framework” Module(s) I would need?
+If all of this needs to be pieced together to work, do you know what files I would need?
+Are there any other apps/files you would suggest?
+Any newbie Tutorials you would recommend?
+Would a Note 4, Note 9 or Note 10+ be better options?
What I have been reading so far is a lot to take in and I appreciate any help received.

Not going to happen. You'll need to do some research because the N950U has a locked bootloader and there is currently NO WAY to unlock the bootloader so you can't flash custom roms like that.. However if you buy the international version which is N950F you'll be able to do that..

Thanks MrMike!
Do you know if the N950F Model can be setup to retain all T-Mobile features like VoLTE, WiFi Calling, etc? Is there a better International Model Note (9 or 10?) that retains or can be configured to work mostly or fully with T-Mobile's Network? I appreciate your time.
The only way you will get those features on International version is if a developer were to include multi csc in the rom you flash

SafetyNet Hardware-backed

Hi, I wanted to buy a Samsung Galaxy s9 (or s9+ idk yet) to install custom roms. I heard that SafetyNet hardware-back was included since Android 7, and S9 series has came out with android 8.
Can I install LineageOS for instance and use bankings apps or I need to root it and I don't have these bankings apps ? ?

package disabler pro alternative

hello everyone, I have a tablet with a tab a7 google account. We could bypass the google account with the package disabler, but for some reason it stopped working from June 3, what do you think is the problem, thanks in advance
Hi there everyone,
Samsung galaxy Tab A290 already upgraded to the last security update, Android 11 with the FRP lock still active. (Unable to downgrade firmware) Bootloader still locked and unable to activate USB debugging so rooting is out of the question. (for my skill level anyway).
Package disabler and alliance shield x no longer work. Therefore none of the walkthroughs on YouTube are of any use. Does anyone have a solution/alternative. Thank you in advance.
I'm still looking for a solution but no
I think it will be with toll road
There is also CCSWE App Manager but it doesn't support knox
