Resize data partition on cm 11? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, i've been looking for information on how to resize the data partition on cm-11 and i've found that it can be done fairly easy for samsung, the problem i'm facing is that i'm on pantech burst 16gb and i can't find any information for it. Right now i'm at the point of "can't install app, insufficient storage space available". I've tried a few apps like app2sd, link2sd and similar and haven't got almost no real result on increasing or liberated storage space, most of my apps are small and i don't have many apps installed. Anyway can someone help me to resize the data partition so i can update apps without uninstalling others.
Thank you!

Can someone help me?

Please someone help me. Thank you!

Please someone help me.

[Q] Hello, please I need help to move apps to SD in LG L70 phone.

Hello, well, I'm sorry if this thread shouldn't be here, I'm a new user =D. But well, I ask help please, I hope to find an answer.
See, I've rooted my phone, but I can't move the apps to SD. I partitioned the SD for using Link2SD and it recognize the partition ext2, but can't create the links for apps. I fixed the problem the SD for writing (I can copy, cute and paste from internal storage to SD and inverse? - Sorry, my english is basic and don't have enough megabytes for using an English-Spanish dictionary =D-). So, I think that LG made a good job locking the system. I found some apps for trying to solve the problem, but I think the system protects of they (like Force2SD, Final App2SD, etc.) because don't let me install them, it says that the device don't have enough memory, but does let me install other apps heavier, like facebook. So, the system doesn't give permissions for move apps although the device is rooted. For now, I read that my only salvation is installing a Custom ROM. But there is no ROM for my device until now . Someone knows another option for help me?

I just figured it out, phone is rooted, card is partitioned, you can still only move very few apps to the card, but you can "link" them to the card, it is the option below the move to sd button. I went from having 400MB free to 750MB with the free app, and now have 1.2GB with the paid version. I am amazed!

Solved "insufficient space" error

Hello,
i have a "insufficient space" error when trying to install any app. It doesn't matter if I try the Play Store or a downloaded .apk. The size doesn't matter, too.
There is definitely space left on the device. /data has 715.9 MB free space /mnt/fuse and other system partitions have 401.7 MB and the two SD partitions have 7.0 GB and 8.8 GB. I use Link2SD to install apps to the second SD partition.
I tried a lot of things and searched through a lot of threads but nothing worked so far:
-Cleared cache of everything with Link2SD
-Cleared calvik cache with Link2SD
-Wiped cache partition via recovery.
-Searches for old .obex files but even if I try to install a totally new app it fails with the same error.
I can't install new tools but I have Lin2SD, a filebrowser and a terminal emulator.
The device is a GT-S7710 also known as Samsung XCover 2. The ROM is Vanir 4.4.4.112414
EDIT: Ok now I have SD Maid, too. And strangely I can install some new apps but not all and I still can't update old apps. I'm trying to figure out, there the differences in the apps is.
Can anyone help me with a hint or idea what the problem could be?
If you need further informations, please ask and I will try to get them.
Kind regards,
Ulrich
SOLUTION:
OK, I found a solution. The difference between installable and uninstallable apps seemes to be the support of the native App2SD function. If I deactivate it through Link2SD and only use the rebinding of the files by Link2SD all apps are installable again. I don't know why it matters now. I didn't change the settings for a long time.
A hint to that solution was a post in an other thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59278026&postcount=2. Strange that I didn't find it earlier with google/duckduckgo/forum search.

GT-S7262 System Storage Problem

Hello !
Please Help Me, My Android's System Storage is Full and i don't know why.
There isn't some files but system storage is full.
Please help me ! how to fix this problem ?
Try looking for hidden files or cached files.
Google has been filling the storage of the system partition for a few updates now. Mostly languages for their keyboard. While you can use root to remove some of them there really is no reason to.
