Oppo R11 cases? - OnePlus 5 Accessories

Reports indicate cases for the OnePlus 5 fit the Oppo R11 "like a glove." I suspect the Oppo R11 cases will fit the OP5, as long as they don't interfere with the silent switch.
Can anyone confirm my suspicions?

Late post but yeah, kind of. The power button is slightly higher on the 5 which can cause issues depending on the design and the notification LED is little more to the left which can mean it's covered a bit if the case has a built-in screen protector. The rear has both a microphone hole between the flash and cameras so the flash is slightly furthur over so may be partically covered. Obviously the alert slider will be covered by any R11 cases but I don't use it anyway. It barely protrudes so shouldn't prevent any case from actually fitting.

I used one for a few days, covered the notification slider but I don't use that anyway. All else was good. Helped while I had to order a OP5 case in anyway.

Cruzerlite Androidified A2 Cases for the DNA

I've always been a big fan tpu of cases, and the Cruzerlite cases have always been some of the nicest quality ones. I called them yesterday to see when they are supposed to be up for sale and they told me in the next day or so. Woke up this morning and they were up. I ordered 3 for the price of two with the coupon code "b2g1". Not sure how I feel about there being cutouts where the volume rocker and power button is. I like the raised volume buttons on my verizon tpu case ive been using as my temp. I guess I'll let you guys know. These are pretty cool looking cases. Since I'm a new poster, I cant post the link, but maybe someone else will.
Here's the link http://www.cruzerlite.com/cases/htc/dna/androidified-a2-tpu-case-for-htc-droid-dna
I posted this little review on Amazon, too.
I have been using this case for a couple of days now (the green one). At first glance, it is a sharp looking case. I love the Android mascot on the back cover, it gives a bit of style/uniqueness to the case. However, I could see how some might think it is a bit ostentatious for a phone case. The case itself is clear and tinted in the color specified in the description but the Android on the rear is a solid color (although the clear tinted areas darken significantly once the phone is in the case). And yes, the rear notification light does shine through very visibly (at least on my green one).
The case in pretty thin and does not add as much bulk as most other cases but it still feels solid/reliable. There are little ribbed strips on either side to make the phone easier to grip which is a nice feature as TPU cases can feel slippery to me sometimes. There are cutouts for all the major points of the phone (rear speaker, camera, headphones, etc.).
One drawback is that the buttons do not have molded/raised areas to assist in pressing them. Instead, there are simply cutouts where the buttons are. This wouldn’t normally be an issue but considering the DNA’s buttons are excessively recessed, they can be difficult to press with the raised case around them. Also, the headphone cutout might be too small for headphones with a large plug.
I also have a Diztronic TPU case and, for me, I feel like that one might protect the phone a little better. However, it also adds much more bulk to the phone (compared the Androidified) and does not have the style of the Cruzerlite. Overall, especially for the price, I think the Cruzerlite Androidified A2 is a pretty solid choice if you’re looking for a TPU case.

Cheap silicone case from ebay just arrived

Hey, I just received ->THIS<- case that I ordered on 27th of July. It's made from silicone with nice grip on the back
Case from back
Case from front
The power and volume buttons are hidden under the case but the alert slider is not and it's deep enough that u can't switch it with one hand and you have to use nail to switch it to different position
Power Button
Volume buttons and Alert Slider
Detail on Alert Slider
The cutouts on the bottom are wide enough that you can put bigger headphone jacks in and Dash Charge cable is perfect fit. The case doesn't block the speakers at all neither the microphone.
Bottom cutouts
The case is big enough to cover the camera bump so the camera doesn't protrude at all
Camera cutout
It's a bumper case so there the screen won't get scratch up when you put the phone upside down on table.
When I look at the case from sides it looks like it should be possible to apply Orzly Tempered Glass V2 or practically any Tempered Glass. I might order the Orzly one later.
Front from angle
Front from top
One last thing I want to point out is that this case is like magnet for dust,It was lying on table and I moved it a little on table,as soon as I picked it up I noticed that the back of the case took ale the dust I had there. It's not a big deal though you can easily clean by swiping them.
Back with dust
Here is the whole album if you don't want to click link by link

Just got pretty much the same case but this version has cutouts for all 3 and the same cutout for the camera.

Review: Maikezi Folio Case (TLDR: Can't Use Fingerprint Sensor)

My wife had a Moto G5 Plus which served her well. She loves folio cases, and I got her a Maikezi Folio case for it (I have seen this budget case under many different names). It was perfect, as the fingerprint sensor was on the front of the phone.
Last week she got her Moto wet and it died, so I got her a Nokia 6 (6.1? 2018) as a replacement. She is a creature of habit, so I got her the same type of folio case on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079C29K1S).
The cutout for the fingerprint sensor is the *exact* circumference of the fingerprint sensor. What the manufacturer/designer didn't allow for was the thickness of the TPU case and the leather backing. As such, your finger doesn't really reach the sensor unless you are really jamming on it, and even then, usually you get a bad read because such a small amount of fingertip actually makes contact with the sensor. So they should have enlarged the fingerprint cutout to allow access. I'm returning the case.
I bought this flip case from Amazon (RUIHUI Leather Wallet Folding Flip Protective Case Cover with Card Slots,Kick) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3XK46V , I bought the "Classic" one, and it is really nice, it fits well, the fingerprint sensor is a little bit recessed but perfectly usable, and there is a groove to better access the hole. I never missed an unlock with it or got a partial read. The magnetic flip holds very well too.
I am using it with a tempered glass screen protector and there is no problem on the border of the phone.

Rhinoshield Bumper Case Alert Slider

I just received my bumper case through Amazon and noticed that the alert slider doesn't stay in place. I would have to move the slider around push in and then slide in order to change settings on my phone. Not sure if this is a defect on my unit. This is the first time I've purchased one of their products. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Yep ,same deal here . Everything about this bumper is great but the slider...is a no go
I just sanded off the tip and now it works little bit better. Rhinoshield should just work on that more. I honestly think that a cut out would have been just fine.
Just a typical rhinoshield oneplus Problem
Had it also with my OP3
I have the soilid suit, which is basically a bumper with an attached back (It looked like ****, to be honest) and the slider works amazingly well. But i know it's not actually a bumper per say, so I don't know.

Review of "Lighting Armor Case"

So I ordered the fancy case thinking I would have it for the life of the phone... Don't like it at all. Here is why.
1. It doesn't make the phone any easier to hold or help prevent accidental screen touching at the edges. You would need a pop socket to hold the phone well... Which would cover the light.
2. It doesn't offer much protection at all and is smooth hard plastic that promotes dropping and sliding off surfaces.
3. The lit up part is under open recessed holes which will fill with gunk over time. You'll have to carefully clean them with a needle.
4. The lighting doesn't use the stock light port on the back, it's lit by a bright little LED next to the camera flash that eats up some battery.
I much prefer the cheap hybrid tpu / plastic case that was on my one plus 6T. It made the phone easier to hold and use as well as offering great protection.
Do you have the kunai? If so would the case get in the way of adding the kunai 3s?
Don't own the kunai so not sure.
Will probably buy a different case though, if I keep this one I'll eventually end up breaking this phone
The cheaper tpu cases air trigger cutout only allow for single trigger and does not support dual or sliding usage for the trigger.
The lighting armor case cover fully the top and bottom of the phone, and also stick out quite a bit on the left and right side of the phone. It should offer some drop protection as it is quite hard to remove. Only thing is there is no front lip with screen protector applied. However it offer ample camera lens protection.
Until correct cutout are made for 3rd party cases, I cannot recommend any of them.
I threw together a 3D printed outer case that fits over this case but doesn't cover any of the bottom lighting. Makes it a bit easier to hold and should offer more protection. Still a bit of a work in progress but if you have a printer and want to try it out, knock yourself out. I still need to do something to make the buttons easier to press and the air triggers are pretty much a no go. I also covered the dock port. I'm not much of a gamer, I just wanted a fast phone with a big screen and huge battery

based on what I've seen so far probably
the official little lighting case doesn't work with the desktop dock which I could forgive, the aero cooler which kinda makes sense it would be pointless not to have direct contact, but I was shocked to find it didn't even work with the twinview dock, I plan to get the kunais when they come out but right now I'm calling it that they won't like cases of any kind.
