Are you able to install apk of existing samsung system app from APK Mirror ? - Samsung Galaxy Note FE Themes, Apps, and Mods

Dear All,
I ve tried to install the apk downoladed from Apk mirror of AOD, touchwiz and other Samsung system app but I got an error saying there was an exiting package installed on my phone and it is in conflict.
I'm on N935K with N935L firmware

Yes, i have the same by trying to install the european weather app from samsung.
N935L with L Firmware.

I tried this as soon as I got the phone (a few days after release) and I believe from some research that you would need root access in order to fully uninstall the original app and it's framework, I did read somewhere that adb could be used but again without root I'm doubtful. My solution to the weather app was to install xwidget from the app store and use the s8+ weather widget from within there, I also installed the accuweather app so that when you click on the widget it takes you to that.
From my understanding samsung pay will never be a think for anyone outside of korea (for the FE) because you'd need to uninstall it's root files again requiring root access which would trip knox therefore disabling samsung pay anyways, after doing some testing I found that installing a custom rom and then using the full unroot feature of SU it will allow you to use all the banking apps in the UK and the only thing that will not work (obviously) would be samsung pay due to knox.
I may have Rambled on a lot here but I just wanted to let anyone who reads this to know what I have tried

You needed to root your FE.
I've attempt to install Live Message apk into my unroot FE without success.
So, I root my FE and port a lot of Note 8 apps into my FE now. Very happy to have Live Message with my FE.
Also, fingerprint reader is working significantly faster too!

galaxy note fe
can no need root also can use live message

Cannot install Google-related services

Hi all,
I have a ZTE S2004 from China that does not have the usual pre-installed Google apps. I had e-mailed the manufacturer (both the North American and Chinese customer service) and was notified that because the phone is from China, it does not support Google services.
I recently found out about and downloaded KingRoot v4.5 and Root Explorer v3.3.5 to try and install Google APKs as described in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874285. I installed the APKs , then changed the permissions to align with the other APK files, restarted the phone and then tried to install the apps via the APKS. They all said installation successful, but the apps crash and do not work, with the error message reading "Unforunately [program] has stopped".
Thanks.

Most likely because that thread is 3 years old. The apps are very outdated. Would try the same steps with the updated version of the Google apps.

Sorry I forgot to mention that the phone is using Android version 4.4.4 and I read that some of the APKs only supported 5.0+. I am unsure how to proceed.

Should just need the Play Store and Google Services Framework installed to get started. With 4.4, they should be placed into /system/priv-app with the correct permissions. 0644 I believe. Once placed there, permissions set, and rebooted, you should be able to access the store and download the rest of the stuff you need. I'd just grab them from a 4.4 Gapps package. They will be slightly outdated, but should be easily updatable.

I have encountered a problem with the Play Store installation. I had downloaded a newer version of Google Play Store and have tried to uninstall it, but it still remains and I fear it is blocking the 4.4.4 version. I cannot remove it by using the default removal option or even root explorer. I attempted to reset the phone but that has not worked either.
The installation for Google Services Framework was successful, but when I tried to use the Google Play Store, it would open and subsequently close immediately, no error message showing and the process itself still running.
So you've deleted it with Root Explorer and it came back after reboot or there was an error when trying to remove it?

I am unsure which custom ROMs are available, as I have been unable to find any for my phone model, S2004. The most common ones I've seen are the ZTE Blade and ZTE Warp.

Then you can do one thing, download firmware of your device but of some other country. It may work for you.

There is no other firmware available, my phone is currently only available in China.
Any update on this ? I have the same phone and it's useless without the google related apps (and it would be great to have a newer version of android on it too)
Thanks,

Lloyds mobile banking app uk

I have kenzo cyanogen ROM installed (13.0-20160617 unofficial kenzo) I have used Lloyds banking app for a long time but tonight it tells me I can't log in as using a rooted or jail broken device. I haven't updated the app for a while or ran any other updates.
Is this room rooted by default? As I didn't think it was and I didn't think I had root.
Is there a way to fix it so I can use my banking app again?
It has a root option which you can enable. I can suggest trying root cloak but that also means you'll have to install xposed. Make sure root is turned off in dev settings and clear the cache/data of the banking app before trying root cloak. Otherwise you may have to settle for their website.
Root is off in the developer options. I wonder if the banking app can see the ROM or something else is not stock? Its frustrating as it was the reason I didn't root my phonephone/want it rooted.
I noticed that even installing an older version of the app I get same error so maybe something else has changed . if a system app has somehow updated and caused this? I am still on the original ROM from june. I haven't installed nightlies.
Either that or my account has somehow been flagged so even old app versions dont work(deleted data and folders etc from the app first.)
regarding ths problem - Im guessing its not looking at root as this is disabled, but it can see either an unsupported rom, or something else. Can i flash a different rom (prefereably not Miui) and regain the banking app? a rom that would be classes as supported?

How to force install an .apk file

Ok, so i got this free Samsung J2 Pro (SM-250F) from a company where i worked at. It has Knox Mobile Enrollment or something installed in it. I wanted to install .apk file but i can't give the phone permission to install application from unknown sources (the setting is grayed out).
I've tried flashing my phone with stock ROM but it's still didn't worked (the flashing worked but the Knox still there).
So do i have other way to force install the application?
Or the alternative. Is there a store apps inside Play Store that i can install?
Thank you.

Uninstall third party apps without root

Hi Experts,
I have a question about a Samsung A3 2016 (sm-a310f). On this device there are tons of apps installed mainly by the provider without option to uninstall them.
Is there any way to uninstall them without rooting the device?
And if not and I have to root the device how can I unroot it again ?
The device is used also for online banking apps which might not work after the root any longer.
So any help is highly appreciated.
cheers
Sabine
and PS what is the issue with this Knox counter?
It is possible to go into settings then apps (on my note 8). Then disable individual apps. Also in launcher you may need to hide apps you can't disable. If storage space is not the problem then just disable. Uninstalling some apps can cause Carrier up dates to glitch.
I use BkPackage disabler and save a profile. One click and all selected are enabled or disabled.

There is no way to delete preinstalled apps without ROOT access. You can only freeze or disable them. Look for Magisk (systemless root), it can be easily installed and deleted if needed.

Yes, you can. There's actually an XDA article written on this very topic. It works for most, though, it may not work for all. Give it a shot, and if it doesn't work... root, remove whatever you need to, and unroot. Just use Magisk if you need to go this route. It can unroot itself. Here's the guide.

Can't install any GoodLock apk

When I try to install the apks with the android installer it tells me that it could not be installed, I tried with several versions and several applications and in all the same

I have a Samsung Galaxy A01 from Argentina with Android 10, One UI 2.0 and the stock firmware
What should I do? I download all the latest APKMirror apks

Good lock is only for the United States, and since I am from Argentina it does not appear in the Galaxy Store, and when I enter its website it tells me that this application does not exist.
I already tried several vpns (removing the sim card) but the same happens in all vpn

The only apks that I cannot install are those of Good Lock, all the others are perfect for me, I don't know what happens with the Good Lock ones
I have everything configured correctly, I am beginning to believe that in the Galaxy A Series they cannot be installed in any way, since I saw several users from a01 to a21 who say that it does not allow them.
