Ok.CarbonRom is nightly and releases new "build" every week Tuesday. And Lineage OS is too empty and bugy in my opinion.

I have a oneplus one, oneplus x, samsung s2, s3(children's) , sony z3c (wife), and I use RR for both now, because of stability and plenty of customizations. If you like personalization it's your guy[emoji5]

This rom (as I can see in the name of the zip) is dated 06/25 so it was not created 5 days ago. The article was created 5 days ago. Godd thing there is a name for the author and I can find him here in XDA but why didn't he posted this personally? What about the camera?
I'm just "investigating" I don't want to be unpleasant . I love resurrection remix and I want to try this rom!
Thank you for sharing, good kid

Idk anything. I just found it, and know that it was created 5 days ago and just wanted to share it on xda. And yes the developer is on xda he created AIM Rom

Looks and work fine, but since i have installed this rom i cannot boot into recovery. I tried to reinstall XZDualRecovery 2.8.26 but i still cannot boot into recovery.
If the purple led lights up i press Vol+, but nothing happens the phone only reboot. Can someone help me to get it work?

@Ulfi89 You must go to the last bootloader .291, from the stockrom (Marshmallow) and open your Bootloader!
XZDualrecovery working not on Nougat! Flash TWRP only!
You need at least Twrp 3.0.0.-0, thats working with Nougat Roms!
@A Good Kid, have the rom the OMS feature ?
Sry for ma Bad English!

AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

Known Issues & Extra Features
Known Issues
Clock application force closes when selecting "profiles" under alarm. Other than that that app works flawlessly and will still get you up for work or school
If you use a Google apps package "Mini" or higher you won't even have this issue.
Benschholds Custom Kernel Support
At first I was going to add Benschholds Custom Kernel by default to my ROM but after talking to him we decided it was best if I keep to using my stock AOKP kernel and just link his kernel here for those who dare to be different, so the choice is up to you I've included the link in this post where you can research his kernel, I have personally tested this kernel and say it's really good for performance and speed but the stock kernel (The one included in my ROM by default) Is the best for Stability and battery life... So the choice is yours

(Don't forget to give thanks on his thread if you appreciate he's work)
Google Apps & SuperSU
There is a known AOKP issue that means you'll loose your Google Apps when flashing a new update.
The fix for this is to always flash the gapps package of your choice along with the update itself in recovery!
SuperSU is not present by default but feel free to flash it.
I've personally tested the SuperSU 2.70 beta with my ROM and it works perfectly!
Yeeeep one more ROM tot flash this use to be my favourite on my Nexus 4

AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

FAQ
How often will builds be produced?
When I have the time and when I want to.
Some feature is not working, can you fix it?
If it is working on Lineage, I'll look into it. If not then it will probably get fixed eventually by the Lineage team.
I dirty flashed and now have some issues
I recommend a clean flash and stock kernel. If you ignore this, then please don't post your problems here before trying a clean flash.

Hi bro
Congratulations for the new rom.
Just wanted to suggest uploading to another site like AFH or Mediafire, Mega is hard to download from using phone, and their app has a lot of bugs, thanks again :good:
If you need me to upload it for you, I'm here (just in case your Internet connection was bad or something...)

I installed it yesterday, and I expected more functionality... I don't know if it was bugged on my device or this ROM doesn't support it, but Quick Settings panel wasn't working at all. Can't wait for updates though!

Did you clean flash?
"Quick Settings" not working is a big issue, and other ROM users should have noticed that as well..but they didn't, make sure you cleaned install this ROM and wiped (system, data, cache, dalvik cache) before installing.

Since this ROM is already official i used this today for sometime and it feels great but since there are already known bugs and i know devs are working hard to fix them so downgraded to RR 5.4 back.
Looking forward to this ROM to become more stable.
Keep up the great work. Thanks a lot.
Magisk is already installed

Since I haven't used this rom I can't answer these...
I tend to use more of the mainstream custom ROMs

I have used aosp extended the longest and found very few problems with it which is why I stuck with it. Battery is not too great but I'v been testing various kernels for the past month to figure out which is the best.
Aosp pixel experience is also good, but I do hear a lot of issues now about LTE and 3g switching problems...
Havoc os is also supposed to be very good, though I have not tried it, I have heard very good reviews about it, and that would be the next rom I try. If ur willing to test it I suggest u try that first (and let me know how it is), if u have problems u could always move to aex or any rom which is currently stable.
This ROM (Treskmod ) itself may be good, I can't comment because I haven't tried, but you can flash and see if it suits you!

Havoc supposedly has a good battery life, not sure if it has gcam.
AEX battery not as good as stock but it's not terrible either, and has gcam inbuilt.
