Im trying to cancel my order i made thru the samsung website.
If it helps it already went thru the "pending" stage and money is back on my card but the order already says "confirmed" can i still cancel? Thanks in advance..hopefully it isnt too late...

you have to call Samsung, I called them earlier today to do the same thing, mine was confirmed and decided want to see the Lg V30 and the Iphone 8 to offer, CS person tried to do it on the website herself, and no luck so she did it on her system she said, but my order still shows confirmed not cancelled, but she gave me the cancellation id # and ticket # for cancelling my order.

Thanks, funny thing is that its a prepaid card but it says the money is back on the account even tho it isnt canceled..i want to cancel, or use the money to pay a bill to force cancel... But its saying there is no funds when i process it on the cable bill, i even tried topay my tmobile bill and it says declined... But when i go to the mastercard it says there is money on the account its weird....smh... Im so upset i feel like I'm going to lose the money $539. Since its a giftcard how will they return the money since this card isnt reloadable?

Just called and confirm with them you want to cancel. If the item does ship just make sure you do not accept but denied the item and you will be good. The carrier will note that you denied shipment. It's important for you to denied it because if you accept it Samsung might charge you a restocking fee due to the fact that they believe you might open the package.

These pics are before and after and im trying to use the money and i cant even tho its on my prepaid card...they cant charge me restock fee if its prepaid..where will the get the rest of the money from? I wanna cancel reguardless before it ships..but my fear is that i cancel and i STILL wont be able to use my prepaid debit card even tho it STATES that the money is there...smh..[emoji20]

You would have to keep the line active long enough to get the gift card (at least 8 weeks).

yeah unfortunately they didn't get the order cancelled soon enough, so I received 2 emails for my note 8 and the 360 camera on Sunday morning the 3rd and the final credit card amount posted to my card, but after finding out the V30 has no notification led, I`m glad I still have the Note 8 coming hopefully it will be here tomorrow:good:

Insurance for $4. Is that correct? And if not, do you think I will still be covered?

I'd double check what is covered with that
if its a discounted code or if its just the code for ESRP (which doesn't make sense the way its worded there)
could be an old code, a new code, something you had on there for a while maybe, or something they put on cause they get paid on it and scammed you.
What I can tell you, is that to my knowledge (there is a $4 warranty plan) but It doesn't cover everything that T.E.P. does ...but that **** does say T.E.P. right there so I'm stumped, call and check..simple answer.
Code is TEP4, you are good to go... I have it on all my phones.
You can one or the other for 4 each. Or both for a dollar off...

im connected to sprint chat checking to see if i can use the TEP4 thing....those responses about it on here seem a little detail lacking
the rep has never heard of it before, but is looking into it
will edit when i figure it out one way or the other
edit: yeah they have never heard of that...said there are no promotions

Quick search reveals that tep4 is an SOC code used by Sprint reps to give customers a TEP discount. It may have originated shortly after TEP increased from $4 to $5(1/2005 according to my bills) as a way to appease people who complained about the increase. Historically, increases were $5-$6 in 1/2006 and $6-$7 in 2/2007. Fyi, word is TEP is to increase from $7 to $8 July 24th.
Evidently, the code is still active, but finding a rep who will apply it is the big challenge. I might try it myself.
I wish Sprint would go with someone other than Asurion...I've had bad experiences with them.

They never have phones in stock...I had to wait a week to get a replacement Evo, only for it to have issues. Then I had to wait ANOTHER week to get a new one.

I have never had issues with Asurion. They have been nothing but a pleasure to do business with besides, not having the Evo's in stock is not necessarily their fault. The same would happen with any insurance company Sprint went with. The demand for the Evo was even larger than Sprint and HTC had imagined so every one was out of stock on them and they were on back order everywhere.

I'm not even sure how it got added in the first place.
$4 TEP is insurance only though. Which means only stuff you pay $100 deductible on, so you don't get the warranty and in store repairs of the $7 TEP. So if that is important to you keep the $7 TEP.
EDIT: I may have been wrong. I know TEP used to incorporate two services the insurance and the in store repairs, but since this is being called TEP in the system it may be the same thing as the $7 one but at a discount. just a word of warning because at one point in time you were able to buy the in store service and insurance separately with Sprint.
Actually no to all being a sprint rep you have a choice of service and repair for 4$, equipment replacement for 4$ od both for 7 soon to be 8$

There was a shortage of evo's at the time. Even service centers suffered/suffering with a 3 to 5 day wait on exchanges. i can tell you first hand of the many claims I've filed for customers, its always a smooth transaction.

Mind if I asked where/how you got it?
My upgrade isn't available for a while, and I'm not sure adding a line and then paying the extra 10 bucks a month for it to get the subsidized fee is worth it. What's the most economical way? Is ATT selling it off contract for $599 like they do with most if their phones?
Hey james...Actually me and my wife signed up for AT&T in March 2012...I've had a few problems with my phone...But I called 611 and got through a sales rep...I asked politely since am having some phone issues if could receive a early upgrade...He asked his supervisor and whalaa..The phone is 299.I received the upgrade for my line but not my wifes....(she has a s2) And that was it...I had to use a credit card to put the phone on a hold until it ships then they charge the credit card...Its worth a shot if you had it...the worst they can say is no..But if so..Sell your current device in CL for 300 or 350 and use that for your upgrade..so your not using anything....Try it ..Can't hurt :thumbup:

I'm in the same situation with my RF and SD issues. I'll give it a shot asap.
what kind of sd card do you have?..I just realized mine is a 16gb class 2 sd card...That's a very slow read/write speed ..
There was a sd card fix somewhere I would try First though before deleting anything I'll look for it .
Here is some info on classes of micro sd cards and there read/write speeds I found this...Am getting a faster one for the note2....

He told me the system would not let him order that since it had not come out yet. This was last Friday. I told him I would wait then. He said he was putting the offer in my case notes. So I plan to call back this Friday and hopefully get the Note 2.

Having trouble with calls. I keep fading in and out and my wife is so frustrated she won't answer my calls. I can hear the other party, but they can't hear me and it happens no matter what location I am at.
Mine is up on CL but I'm gonna go the nexus 4 route.
Love my note but I'm ready for vanilla android with speedy updates.

This is a rather long narrative, but it illustrates the inconsistency of dealing with AT&T. I know we have all have read posts in these forums and thought to ourselves that they must be lying, because I tried the same thing, but I did not get that result. So anyway I called this morning to get my upgrade and was told I must have misunderstood, because I had owned my phone for only 8 months and it is impossible to get an upgrade. I said there were supposed to be notes on this, and they said there were, but it was unclear whether it was a standard upgrade or just an early upgrade, and that they were not able to contact the supervisor who I spoke to. They said they still wanted to help and the fourth person I spoke to came up with this elaborate plan. I would add a dummy line for $10 a month and they could have my new phone added to this number. They would give me $150 credit and also credit 6 months of email ($90) so the $10 for the 24 months of my commitment would be a wash. I told him that I did not want any of my plan to change, since much of it is grandfathered rates. He said he could code it so it would stay the same. So right before he was to confirm, he said sorry, I would have to change to a family plan. I said no, and asked him why he could code in this complicated plan, but couldn't do some code for an upgrade. He said he couldn't and after a 2 hour phone conversation I was back at square one. So this afternoon I called back to find out what it would cost me to discontinue service and decided I would switch to another carrier and get a new Note 2. The guy asked me why I was canceling my service, I told him and he said he looked at my account and I have really been put through the wringer. He said he could help, and I said I have heard that line before. About ten minutes later he came back on the line said he had authorized an upgrade and for my inconvenience will deduct $50 from the price and charge me $249.99. He also said he will throw in free priority shipping and I will receive it Monday. After giving him my credit card number and thanking him he said wait, I see your last statement has just come out, to keep you as a valued customer, we will pay that also, I am marking that as paid right now. You could have knocked me over with a feather. As I was typing this, I received my email confirmation that it has already shipped. What a crazy deal.
I'm sure you have seen this posted on other phone's thread but I just want to make sure everyone has the chance to see it. Not only can you get an upgrade for 50% off it is working for people who chose month to month. So pick up your phone of choice for around 300 off contract!

Change it to "month to month" and go through the check out and select whatever plan you want and when you get to the final page of checkout you will see the 50% off promotion take 50% off! After you receive your phone you can decide if you want to cancel the plan or keep it

Of course its the same thing just keep the 2 year price before checking out. You must do an upgrade or add a line.

It's a promotion. The glitch is that it's only supposed to be for upgrades and new activations. I just paid $300 for an off contract S4 Active
I wonder if I called them I'd be able to swing an upgrade a month early.

Last time I talked to them online they quoted me that they could be pushed into upgrade up to 3 months ahead of the upgrade day. Just quote me "My friend said that when he called the lady told him that you can upgrade up to three months... are you saying that he is a better customer than me"
That should do the trick, then get them to price match the promotion and dont forget about waiving the activation (it's a part of the promotion)

Weird I ordered online but then I called and they were able to credit me the other 136

I have seen that a few people have said they managed to call VZW or go to a local VZW store and get an ISIS SIM sent to them even outside of the ISIS test area, but I have read that others were not able to convince them to send one... I was just browsing around in My Verizon on the website and found that I had the ability to request one myself, and it let the order go through even when I told it what phone number to link it to and where to ship it to, both of which are in southwest MO.
It may be possible that they will cancel the order, as I only placed it 5 minutes ago, but it could be worth a shot if you want one but are too lazy to haggle.
This is what I think I did, but I cannot exactly duplicate it so the path may be different - see below the instructions for why.
1. Log into My Verizon
2. Click on "Change Minutes, Text, & Data"
3. Select the device from the tab-style list on the top
4. Click the link that says something like "Get a SIM with an NFC Secure Element" (mine was the last link in the list in the content area of the page)
5. Just place the order and it should complete.
Now the reason I can't duplicate this or go back and check what things actually said is because I chose to do it for my line, and now whenever I try to go back and do the same thing for my wife it says that I must activate my recently ordered SIM before I can make changes, and the shipping I chose was 3 - 5 day shipping, so I will have to wait to get mine before I order one for my wife I guess.
Anyway, YMMV but I figured I would share this.
Yea.. I did same thing last week and got one.. I'm in Richmond, va. Doesn't do much for me since I'm rooted on cm10.1 and can't use Isis anyway, but I had to get a new sim regardless BC I jacked my other one up..

Cool, glad to hear it worked for you already - I hadn't seen anyone post about it yet. I won't necessarily be able to use it either since I am rooted as well, I just thought I would share the info for those who wanted the SIM, maybe if more people get it someone will find a way to bypass the root check.
Also, I just got my shipment email, so I guess I don't have to worry about the order being cancelled anymore. I must say, that was quick for them to process and ship.

I just ordered it because its free and I just want to try Isis and see how it is. I'm still a fan of Google wallet any day.
Also I chose ground and they ship it FedEx 2 day. I see they shipped yours USPS must be random on who they choose

Same, I can't get Wallet to work so I figured I would play around with this in the mean time.
As for shipping, it got here today, so it was still a two day shipping time, but it came by USPS First Class from Fort Worth, TX. Haven't bothered activating it yet as I hardly ever go anywhere that supports NFC payments anyway, probably won't be anywhere like that for at least a month. I only go to Walmart and Sam's for groceries, neither of which have NFC readers, and only use drive through at McDonald's where they actually have a reader inside.

Probably because Verizon watches every move made on xda
I got a sim by walking into the store and asking for one. The girl there was quite helpful and we had a rather good discussion on upcoming possibilities. Not sure why so many are getting screwed. Guess Indiana has some nice folks working in those parts.
If I had to choose between Isis and Google Wallet, I'd go with Google. I like the setup better and it was easier to get working with my rooted phone.
I went into a local corporate store and picked up a se sim. At first they said they didn't know what it even was. Then a guy was like we have these white nfc sims. I was like I bet that is them. They looked it up and it was. They said they turned two other customers away that was asking for them earlier in the day.

What really gets me is sprint won't match Verizon's promo! Called 3 different reps and all shot me down. They would rather me walk away and leave them. Hoping best buy gets some in tomorrow, to use my $50 gift card
A day early? You shouldn't be getting it in store until the 18th.
I never noticed that the power button has the power symbol on it. I like it. The picture also shows how big the buttons are - they shouldn't be too hard to get used to.

Not that it hurts to try, but I'm surprised you were expecting them to price match another carrier's device. At least they're not doing what they did with Note 3 pricing.

I didn't do it personally, another family member made the call, I believe it was just one of the sales reps. Tell them you've got a friend that got the $100 deal for a two year contract, and that you are a long time customer yada yada.

Ordered mine already, Easy pay 51 dollars down to cover the taxes.
Just checked best buy and it's $99.99 with 2-yrs contract. but they only carries black and white, not gold one.
