The latest information i have from the reps is that they are passing on today our note 8's for delivery, just curious if anyone else has ordered through sky mobile and has tracking as yet?

Same problem here:
I have also ordered from Sky mobile, no notice of the phone being dispatched time:21:00/22/09 and website displays only “Thanks for your order, we’ll let you know when it’s been dispatched”. How did you get in touch with the sky rep as I haven’t been able to.

I have my Note 8 from Sky.....ordered on the 23rd August and it arrived on Monday the 18th....:good: probably the same for those that ordered early doors. Go through the sky help there is an option to send them a text message or through Facebook is always another option....:good:

It was dispatched on Friday the 15th so just over the Weekend ......Good Luck dude....:good:

Expansys UK - Anyone else getting screwed over?

Hey guys, I got sucked in with the 6% cashback offer a few weeks back from Expansys, thinking that they would definitely be sending out the SGII on launch day, but at the moment they're saying that the phone 'should' arrive to them in ELEVEN days!
What a joke.
Anyone else going to cancel their Expansys order and go with Clove/Handtec?

I also got an email from expansys today that said they are shipping out the phones on tuesday (which incidentally is 5 days from now).
It does say 10 days in the order tracking tool for my order though, but that is because it's got the wrong product code in the order tracking (asked them about this in an e-mail a couple of days back).
May 2nd is also a bank holiday in the UK so that's probably why they are sending them out on the 3rd.

Yeah i bet they will be deliverd tuesday, mines with Gum Mobile and they sending them 2mrw for delivery tuesday so sounds like its a few companys doing it.

Not impressed that it's gone from being told on the phone that I'd have it today to it now showing as "Awaiting stock". If I'd known they were going to mess around like this I could have had one from any number of places by now.
Unlucky. Most things I order are delayed from them so I tend to get mine from elsewhere nowadays .
I do know that the blue ones have been delayed somewhat though .(not just for play) but it should arrive in the next week or so...

I'm guessing you got the blue? (by "got" I mean pre-ordered) nobody is getting the blue yet, or at least a lot of people aren't. Samsung had to make 600,000 recalls due to a faulty back cover.
No, I'd ordered the white.
In the end I've given up and cancelled the order. Ordered one from CPW instead. I collect it from the shop after lunch today.
Just had another look on the Play.com website and they are now saying

Play.com delivering S3 via DPD
I got an email from saying S3 would be delivered on the 6th and a tracking link for DPD site. They also said in the email that I would also be able to see the delivery hour on the tracking site.
There was no tracking events this morning on the site and no 'Delivery Hour'
I rang play.com and they said they don't know why I was told it would be delivered today because of the 'bank holiday'.
They now say it will be delivered tomorrow, so I will have to arrange for someone to be in again tomorrow, and we all know how irritating that is.
I expressed my irritation to the play.com operative and told them to raise it with team leader.
S3 originally ordered 4th May and subsequently changed from Blue to White when delays were apparent.

Just called VZW about my pre-order, have a tracking number with 10/10 delivery!

I really didn't want to wait until next Tuesday to get my pre-oredered N3 (we've allll heard this one) so I decided to call see if I could get any definite info about when the phone would ship and when would I receive it. I asked very simply if there was an offical date when the pre-ordered N3s would ship. The lady looked around but could only find info for the 10th. We both agreed I would see it on 10/15. She wanted to check one more thing and I was just getting ready to pull the trigger and say "let's cancel this and I'll pick it up in store on Friday" and she said, "Oooooh, I found a tracking number! And it says it's been picked up!" My deliver date says the 10th by 4:30pm! If you need more proof you can check the screen grab I included. Just a second ago I receieved a your VZW order has shipped email Woo!

Vodafone Australia Pre-orders - Waiting Room

The information I have from Vodafone regarding my order is that it will ship on the 21st of September. I'm guessing it will take a couple of days to get here.
Did everyone who pre-ordered get the same shipping date, or are they going to stagger the deliveries? Post your shipping experience and expected delivery dates.

That would be awesome but I doubt it will happen. If Vodafone and Samsung both have the same shipping date, it's likely that Samsung has instructed all carriers not to ship preorders until the 21st. Retailers like Kogan and Harvey Norman might not be under such a restriction. If anyone's ordered from a retailer, let us know your shipping date.
Vodafone sent me an SMS yesterday afternoon (14/9/17) saying that my order had progressed. When I clicked the order tracking link, their site said that it was being prepared for shipping.
I checked the order this morning and it says that it's being delivered. Should get a visit from Startrack with my Note 8 today! That's about a week earlier than expected! Nice work, Vodafone.

I received the same thing from vodafone. The first link takes me to the Vodafone website and shows "on it's way", but the actual consignment order on Startrack states an error with instructions to contact the service desk. Very unusual considering Vodafone told me they themselves would only receive the phone on the 21st of September.

Yeah, I got the same error when following the link to Startrack. Not sure what that's about but I assumed that might be due to the high volume of packages Vodafone must be sending out. If it doesn't arrive today, I'll update the thread.
Well, it's 4.45pm here and the phone still hasn't been delivered, so I'm guessing it's not coming until Monday. Bit disappointing as I was hoping to have the weekend to play with my new toy.
Even if it comes on Monday, that'll still be much earlier than I originally thought, so all good really.

The Startrack link now works and they estimate it will be delivered on the 21st. Seems like I got my hopes up for nothing and it won't actually be delivered early. Oh well.

It's worse than that. For my details on Startrack, it shows that the phone has already been picked up from Sydney and delivered to a local Depot only 20 minutes away from me. It seems they have orders to only deliver at a certain date (21st). It drives me up the wall that it will be just sitting on a shelf for four days at the depot until Thursday. Very frustrating.

I received an SMS from Startrack this morning saying that my phone will be delivered by COB today. The link still says the 21st for delivery but I'll keep you updated. If mine gets delivered today, yours might also find its way into your sweaty palm before you were expecting it.
My Note 8 just arrived!!!
Compared to my Note 3, this is one sexy device in the hand. Still setting up the account and sh*t so I can only comment on the physical attributes at this point.
If you're waiting for a Vodafone Note 8, it appears that they're not waiting until the 21st to send them out and the delivery estimates in both the Vodafone portal and Startrack can be disregarded as potentially inaccurate.
I got my note 8 from Vodafone delivered at 10.30 this morning by startrack.
Got mine at 4:30. I am a much happier man.

Note8 Promotion shipping

I knew it took a long ass time for Samsung to ship the promotional stuff but this long? I received my phone and did this immediately. After my promotion was approved I was told it would ship in the week of October 1st. How does it go from the week of October 1st to that long?! Anyone else?

@cameronw2023 I received my phone on September 6th and immediately registered for promotional stuff. Received e-mail next day saying promotion was approved and it would ship within 2-3 weeks. So I was hoping to receive it not later than September 27th. A week later I got another e-mail saying it would be shipped week of September 27. When I pull it up on the Shop Samsung App it says Status: Review in Progress.
So how could I receive an e-mail saying approved with a shipping date, then a 2nd e-mail with a revised shipping date but yet the Samsung App says "Review in Progress".
Contacted Samsung US chat support was told that my promo was never approved and she had no idea why I had received e-mails stating approval and shipping dates. Asked for her Supervisor and chat pod immediately closed. Hmmm. Finally got back in chat pod queue and another chat support person said that I was approved but a mistake had been made and somebody in their warehouse had shipped out 256GB SD cards vice 128GB cards and that shipments had been temporarily suspended pending review of warehouse processes. He said that was probably what prompted 2nd e-mail with delay in shipment.
So 2 chats and two different answers. Not sure which is correct. Definitely appears that information is NOT being disseminated to all chat support personnel or else some are just failing to read the information.
Hopefully, Samsung gets their issues fixed and gets the promotional items out. I haven't bought a Samsung phone in a long while and while I like the Note 8 I am still not a fan of Samsung's customer support. I still call them the Helpless Desk. LOL.
You're luckier than I. I registered on release day too, but mine is still sitting on "Review in Progress".

Wtf. That's crazy you went through all that trouble. The note8 is actually my first Samsung device ever. I love it so much lol. Coming from apple I will say that they have excellent service when it comes to certain issues. Samsung lacks the more professional side of things. They make a damn good phone though. I'm hoping this **** will update and every gets the stuff they opted in for. It kinda sucks we have to wait months. I was on Reddit a few weeks back and saw a post from a guy who still didn't get his note7 stuff. I'm like surely that's an error on his end. Sadly it wasn't. I saw multiple people complaining about it. Either way good luck to you and everyone else!

When I did mine it was approved within 30 minutes. Did you provide all the required info? Maybe Samsung is just slacking right now. Hope it clears up for you

It said "Approved" shortly after I submitted it, but the status has been stuck on "in Progress" ever since. I submitted what I have in the past for Samsung promotions, so it SHOULD be right. I did go for the Gear 360 though, since I'm starting to accumulate a micro mountain of microSD cards, so maybe that's the catch.
Did mine on Saturday night got approved today said shipping the day of the 25th so let's see they pretty quick shipping stuff out cause whwn i did the note 5 promo it took about a month to get all the stuff from them so lets see
Submitted mine on 15th still says claim received.
Says in terms and conditions:
Participants will be sent an email and SMS to confirm that their Claim has been received by the Promoter. Within two (2) days of Claiming Participants will be sent an email and SMS to confirm whether their Claim has been successful and validated (“Claim Validation”)
Shipping Date too far away
I received an email from Samsung saying that my gift submission was approved and that the shipping date is "2017-11-27." That is really far away and late compared to other gifts I have redeemed from them

Samsung normally always says 6-8weeks for there promo gits. Normally you get them about 2weeks later.
Yes alot of use got the approved and est ship date of Oct 1 - 9th. Then it changed to 6-8weeks.
We just gotta wait for it to come. Nothing else we can do, it is a promo and this is pretty much normal for samsung.

Submitted mine yesterday, got the approval yesterday. But they quoted a 12/4/17 estimated ship date...
My claim for the 128GB card and wireless charging piece was approved 9/18/17. I got a notification the next day saying it was approved but it wouldn't ship until the week of 10/30/17. Is it typical for Samsung to take that long getting promo products out? I know somebody above said there was an error with shipping out the wrong cards so I guess my question is more generalized.
Anyone in UK had a Dex claim validated yet. Mine was submitted on 15th, still says claim received.
I submitted on 9/8/17 and it said October 7th at first but now it says ships in 6-8 weeks.

Same here, same date.
I never did get an email. The shopping app says 6 to 8 weeks, from day one. Registered on 9/8.
Got notice it was shipping, 2 hrs latter it was delivered! 10/2/17

Anybody get their promos yet? Original e-mail I got said it would ship in 2-3 weeks. So I should have received promo last week. Still no update on promo website or Shop Samsung app and customer service appears to be clueless at this point. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain as it is a "freebie".
