[ROM][7.0][SM-G610M] Original Stock Nougat Firmware - Samsung Galaxy J7 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Oth

Hello Amigos,
Here is the Samsung Original Android 7.0 Firmware (Nougat) for our J7 Prime (G610M).
TPA-G610MUBU1BQI1-20170919095316.zip
This Firmware is from Panama (TPA) from my vast knowledge, this ROM should be unbranded. I will be flashing and uploading screenshots soon.
I am also sharing this so we can have cooks build ROM variants with flash files/fixes for our device which has a front FLASH.
Regards,
Paul

Any news on performance? is it branded? I'm trying to download but the server is painfully slow on my end, around 25kbps so it might take a while.

Yes, as I mentioned, this ROM is unbranded. It's clean, quick and has many features previously not on Marshmallow. Love that I can change the screen resolution/zoom, and natively the homescreen and app grid.
Do miss edge panel, hope someone makes a Note/S8 custom rom. Oh, from flash is working.
Paul

I cannot root this ROM, i've tried all methods:
- Sideloading the SuperSU via TWRP
- OneClickRoot
- KingRoot
- ROOT2SAM
I'm getting a verification error upon reboot causing me to hard reset.
Anyone gets root. Please share.

Thanks for uploading to mediafire. Both sammobile and updato would have taken too long to download.

@ginoPTB We removed the link due to two reasons:
1.) We have the official firmware for the t-mobile variation that also will allow metro users to use it.
2.)The image was found to contain personal information of mine to which no one is privileged. Therefore, since the above took place, I requested the fix be removed for 24 hours till the other firmware can be uploaded and a link provided.
Sorry that this may have caused a minor inconveince. Tomorrow there will be a flash-able odin image. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
Ok thanks

The correct odin would be the latest. As far as the file, we are working on that rigt now. Look for an update in the next 24-48 hours at most. I am hoping that @klabit87 will work his magic for us when it comes down to getting it done completely. He is an awesome dev that has patience, and is wise beyond his years. So, I am asking that everyone does the same and have patience. Thanks again guys.
There we go guys.
OP will be updated later. This is the link to the full tmobile firmware discovered by summers

For now yes.
Only a few minor differences which will be ironed out soon.
We will be making a flashable zip in order to fill in the Metro gaps and replace T-mobile apps with metro.

Yes indeed they are cheap in price as compared to international versions but in quality i find them better. Roms support for korean phones can only be found in Vietnamese forum. Like i am using RadeonMaya rom in F460, best of its kind. Kindly translate important topics like rooting, recovery, flashing, other issues which are on lgviet forum and post it here, will be highly appreciated.

However, I backed up my stock(?) recovery image, after flashing indian 19s and chinese 23s, from the zips without the recovery, so I guess it SHOULD be the recovery from indian 16s. Its checksum is different from the recovery you can download from the link above. If you want it, I can upload it on my androidfile space, but I cannot assure it's 100% safe.

I don't know. My guess is that it's chinese, as they deal mainly for x820, but I cannot say. My recovery SHOULD be the one that came with the phone (16s indian), as the zips I flashed did not contain another one. And it has a different checksum.
However, since ROMs are mutually interchangeable, probably recoveries are too. I think the recovery I linked you should suit your needs, as it's in a forum with many Le Max2 users. I tried my recovery and it worked too; should you need it for any reason, just tell me and I will upload it on my androidfilehost space.

If you want to sell your phone, I guess that cuoco ROMs (android 6.0...) are the way to go: they should have all the stock features. Android 7.1 is still progressing, but at the moment I think you could try AICP. However, I have received my phone just a couple of weeks ago and I have been just playing with it

Note 8 SM-N9500 Android 9 ROM (ONE UI) N9500ZCU4ZSBA/N9500CHCN9500ZCU3DZSBA500ZCU

Not tested yet, but seems to be final that are rolling out for China OTA.
Instruction:
The prerequisite must be the official N9500CHC4CRL1 system
First unpack the N9500CHC4CRL1 five-piece bottom package with odin (is ignored by this bottom package)
Method 1: After brushing and rebooting, enter the official recovery double clear once
Unzip N9500 ADB one-click upgrade 9.0.zip
Put update.zip (no decompression required) into the N9500 ADB one-click upgrade 9.0 folder
Then select apply update from adb in the official recovery
Finally, connect the phone to the computer. Run the ADB One-Click Update 9.0 folder. Double-click to brush in .bat and wait for it to complete.
Method 2: If you have a MicroSD/TF card, you must be a stand-alone flash memory card. The SD card that the body flash memory is out of will not work. The official rec does not recognize it.
Copy the update.zip upgrade package to the card, restart the phone and select apply update from sd card, then select the upgrade package, follow the on-screen prompts, and then restart automatically.

Yes, but it has a lot of Chinese junk in it. Some items are not translated. It has most of languages, like English, German, Russian e.t.c.
Can be installed to Hong Kong version, but to roll it back you need to have a PIT file and then re-partition phone.

How's the phone performance with the new stock android 9 pie update?.
Some people reported battery performance degraded as compared to android 8 stock?.
The Performance is way better than oreo and also the UI is attractive. So far the battery timing is also satisfactory. Being beta, I am facing few issues. Like the live messegees are not working. The always on display sometimes is not popping up. Since it's Chinese beta, I can see some Chinese words here and there specially in the yellow pages directory, timer, samsung assistance etc. The camera performance I think is not appreciable comparing to oreo.
It's good to taste Pie but I would suggest to wait till official version if Note 8 is ur primary phone.

need to identify difference in update variant!

Hi Guys!
My first time writing for my Feb bought 10x Zoom 6 GB Variant
I participated in Trial/Beta version of Stock ROM.
Today, I got the update EX_11_C.11, but when I compare that with the version the company states on it's Indian website is different
https://oppo-in.custhelp.com/app/software_update_detail/p_name/Reno+10x+Zoom
CPH1919EX_11_A.20 (this also contains April patch)
please guide further!

They (Oppo) do not have their latest firmware on their websites. In ANY country.
They have old firmware which is not what you are looking for. Am I correct to say you want latest ColorOS7?
I don't know of any website that hosts the latest ones yet

I've done my fare share of searching, thought some might know some blog or something.
well, if there is no website for ROM collection, then what's Google gonna give me?
Android/Oppo news based sites are the only option
i have had 3 versions of color os 7 by far this one is latest and most stable version cph1919tw_11_ c.27. for the oppo 10 x zoom

As this device cannot be successfully rooted, the firmware cannot be captured. Your only options at the moment are to connect via VPN to wherever is ordering ColorOS 7; wait for your territory to release it OR wait until we can root the device and have someone grab the firmware.
Your "fare share of searching" should have revealed those little nuggets of information. Not hard.
It looks like Oppo added new software to its UK site yesterday: https://oppo-uk.custhelp.com/app/software_update_detail/p_name/Reno+10x+Zoom
But this says it's only the April 2020 security patch.
