How to install
This ROM REQUIRES Lollipop bootloader. See this post to learn how to update your bootloader.
1. Download ROM and Gapps and transfer to device
2. Boot into recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Factory reset
4. Install ROM
5. Install Gapps
6. Reboot to system

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. This ROM is scheduled to build every Thursday at 8 AM GMT. The download becomes available 1 to 5 hours later. If the build fails then you have to wait until the week after.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter using them.
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet available for nougat, however when it is ready you will need to use the version arm sdk 25.

Thanks for working on CM 14. You will make it compatible with LP Bootloader or you are still on KK Bootloader? Because with the LP and M AOSP roms we had to stay on KK Bootloader to avoid sound, spen and reboot issues.

It currently works on top of the CM13 device specific code so it's probably best to use KK bootloader. Making it compatible with LP bootloader is difficult and not a top priority at the moment
The Rom is working in lp Bootloader, unfortunately not so well. Where can I get the kitkat Bootloader?

Wow, the Rom is now very smooth, only with the standard gapps there are many fc and you cant sign in a google account.
Great work so far, excited for the stable build! No crash on gapps for me , everything felt pretty quick for an early build.

The new Note 10.1 is completly different from the Old one, so you are in the wrong thread. Don't expect too much, the n8000 is a very Old device.

2) Status bar battery settings don't take. Tried adding percentage next to portrait icon but won't display.

Should work on P601, but try at your own risk (RIL won't work for sure)
Hi today im gonna share a small list of J500F roms I tested on J5007
Not all works but there are stable ones, some have bugs in home button, network (wifi or bluetooth or data), missing stock apps or system apps and last is the sim card problem we are facing on our unit.. Don't worry guys list will be updated if any of the bugs are fix or when im finishing trying other roms. Note read the developers post to know what are the bugs of the rom.. What i've mention is the bugs that we get for flashing other models rom
Method flashing the roms: (using Zonik's recovery supports Aroma installer)
1. Boot into recovery
2. Wipe cache, dalvic cache, data, system, internal
3. Flash rom then GAPPS
4. Go to wipe then wipe cache and dalvic cache or factory reset

Any update to this topic? I had the 5007 and its hard to find compatible rom since theres no official mm and theres no dev ported MM to stock LL on 5007..anyway i have downloaded Xperience and AEX..will this rom stable for my daily driver? Need your advice.

You had the G version meanwhile we had the J5007 version. I dont think it supported on our devices unless theres a mod or bootloader/kernel patch.

Custom kernels are not compatible with this ROM. I will NOT provide support if you install a custom kernel.

Custom camera HAL made by Sultanxda featuring:
-4K UHD video recording
-High-speed video recording with audio at 60 FPS and 120 FPS for 720p, and 60 FPS for 1080p
-Consistent 30 FPS video recording in all lighting conditions
-Intelligent anti-shake algorithm (significantly reduces motion blur when capturing photos)
-Faster autofocus in low lighting conditions
-No stuttering in camera viewfinder
-Improved photo quality
-Photo capture up to 4208x3120 resolution (instead of 4160x3120)

Custom camera app not included. Maybe in a later version, the ROM has the default Snap as Camera App.

Installation instructions (for first-time installation):
First, perform a backup of your existing setup, and then perform a clean install (wipe /data and /system; TWRP is recommended).

What's the difference between this ROM and ResurrectionRemix?
They're almost the same thing, however I've added the following things:
I've fixed the Running Services Button's position on QS footer
Classic GPS Toggle
It acts like the GPS toggle in pre-KitKat versions. Basically if you have Network Location Enabled (Battery Saving) it will toggle Location between Battery Saving and High Accuracy, otherwise it will toggle between Off and Device Only.
Double tap to sleep on Lock screen (this was cherry picked from RR gerrit)
Option to hide Edit QS tiles button from QS footer (ported from Havoc-OS)
Alert Slider Customization (Notification modes, Flashlight, Brightness, Rotation and Ringer)
[*]Custom kernel? OSS camera?
Since this ROM is based on YumeMichi's LOS 15.1 device tree (and Sultan's cm-13.0), custom kernels are not compatible and I won't add OSS camera.

If you use los 15.1 and previous RR nougat rom then you won't be disappointed... Sultan kernel and RR customization... More than enough for me..

I use this as my daily driver, tested 2 days before uploaded (just rebuild yesterday for latest RR changes). I will upload screenshots soon.
The device tree and the kernel is the same as YumeMichi's LineageOS 15.1 so battery performance and stability is probably the same (I didn't use that ROM so I don't have exact stats).

Enable navbar in settings on navigation tab, and set its mode to smartbar. The default after turning it on is aosp.
Or if you meant the hardware buttons, as far as I can see it's not available yet, I will check this, maybe it's not available in current RR builds.

I havent tried gaming recently, but I think it should be same as stock. (Based on what I tried 2 months ago while testing the rom)
When I get time, I might release overclocked version of kernels separately. But not sure about it...

Its Pure j7 stock nougat rom.. I installed rom yesterday.. But my camera is failed..
1.auto screen lock while turn on back camera.
2front camera is ok (using "sweet selfie" or others)
Thats the problem..but in installed "los 16,los 17.1."
There camera is working good..
And i installed "enigma ux refined".
There camera is work..but slow while capturing..(lagging camera). and its move to front camera,its working good..)
Whats is the problem you guess?
I read your next update changelog.. Camera will fix it?

Flickering issue is not due to ROMs
I think it's due to display damage, it happens when you use the device at very low brightness for long(just like my j7, even in stock rom, but its cause/reason isn't known).
The workaround I do is not to use the device while charging, it temporarily fixes flickering for me, and also dont keep the brightness too low...

Note :- Whenever anyone posting bugs, you must be pretty much sure (confirm yourself) that the bug exists, and that your device doesnt have any damages. Im using J700F and I don't face any such issues. So when posting bugs, be sure to test twice that ithe bug really exists or not
Atleast go back to stock rom and use it for 1 day before using this rom if you find bugs! (For confirmation)
bro, when I'm on a whatsapp video call with 50% battery, the battery simply drains until the device shuts down in less than 20 seconds. other than that the rom is well stable! but smart view is not working

That doesn't happen for me...
Which model?? Also tell me your baseband version (mine is *XXU4BQC3)
Do you charge your device till 100% ? (because i only charge till 80-85%)
I had doubt about smart view in the beginning itself.
Because I havent tested it since there is no way for me.
So I think I will upload next release only when these are fixed.
Note :- Go back to stock rom and use it atleast for 1 day, then use this rom and tell me about the bugs. I dont find such things, moreover Im using the same device as yours!
So, I will consider the bug reports, that they really exist only if you are pretty sure about it

Hey, I tried to install anx camera module i have flashed the three files
-Miui Core Module
-ANX camera unity 190R (bountifuldistanthapkuna)
-ANX RN10 addon
After successfully installing all these modules anx camera app says Cannot connect to camera. Even all other apps show a black screen when accessing camera but no privacy indicator is shown if camera is being accessed.
