Garbled Bluetooth audio in games - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

I've downloaded 3 different games today that all have messed up audio when using Bluetooth. The audio is fine through the phone's speakers. I've tried with 2 different headsets and my girlfriend downloaded one of the games on her Note 8 and got the same result with her headset. These are all highly rated games and when looking at reviews from Note users, nobody is complaining about Bluetooth audio. Not all games have the problem but about half of what I'm downloading does. Has anyone else experienced this?

Bluetooth speaker lag? (Logitech Mini Boombox)

It could just be the way it works, but I'm using the Logitech Mini Boombox with my Transformer Prime when watching movies. The only thing is there seems to be almost a 1 second sound delay which is pretty useless, is there any way to minimise this? (Such as using a custom ROM or player - I'm currently using MX Player) Cheers
What version are you on? what bluetooth speaker are you using?
I can watch videos listening on my bluetooth headphones no problem, when i tried in January to watch a movie on the bluetooth in my car like you said nearly 1 second delay.
No problem now tho, everything works great, im on stock .21.
Maybe its your player as well, maybe its the bluetooh speakers your using, could be a lot of factors give us some more info
I'm on .21 too
The speaker is the logitech mini boombox (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/1201/8725)
I'm using MX Player
Cheers
Same problem with me. I can't use my bluetooth headphones, the delay is too annoying.
idunno what to tell ya, it used to lag for me update fixed it. idunno how idunno why. wish i could be more help :/
Good question.
I got my Bluetooth headset yesterday.
It's the Creative WP 250.
Great sound but I am experiencing a delay watching mkv video on BS player as well..
Is this a common problem using BT headsets and watching video?
It's pretty useless this way.
This problem isn't unique to the Prime. But it is particulary bad on the Prime.
On the Galaxy tab 10.1 I had this problem with BT headphones in all media players except Dice.
On the Prime, I'm getting lag with everything. Dice Player, Netflix...
Wfi on Wifi off doesn't matter. Basically if I use BT headphones, I get video lag.
Its starting to really annoy me. Kind of just want a tablet to work at this point. Finally got a tablet that plays video well, and now I can't use my headphones.
No lag on my Galaxy note or my original Galaxy tab 7. Maybe the Tegra 2 and Tegra 3 chips are to blame. Going to go to Best Buy and test some of the other Tegra 3 Tablets myself and see if they have this problem. Hear lots of people claiming there is no lag on the TF300T, but I suspect some people may not notice it initially or may be more tolerant of less than perfect playback.
Dice player solved my Bluetooth speaker lag problem.

headphones with sport model

i bought the Phaiser BHS-730 because they seemed to have good reviews on amazon. i've been trying the at the gym a few times now. set up normally with the inline remote and i'm guessing bluetooh on the right music was so choppy. i swapped the tips which swapped the sides for the remote. this helped and works fine while running and normal arm position, but walking with my arm down it gets choppy again. i've searched out and seen lots of discussions that some people have this issue and others have headphones that are fine, but not a lot of details on the headphones that are fine. I've also tried pairing the watch to my jbl charge 3 speaker and within a 10 foot range i haven't had any choppy issues. does anyone know a pair of headphones that don't have the choppy issue?
tried a co-workers samsung circle gear and at work didn't notice any choppy playback. these do not seem ideal for working out and running however.
I had the same issue... I called Moto at apparently with something to do with certain Bluetooth chips on certain headphones... I did some research and read a lot of forums and settled on JBL reflect mini,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B015...ct+mini+bt&dpPl=1&dpID=41YsKaRWUDL&ref=plSrch
I've had no issues whatsoever running or walking with these headphones paired to my Moto 360 sport.
i tried another co-workers beats powerbeats 2's and they seemed ok. i ended up going with the new powerbeats 3's and they've worked well so far. hopefully this will help others that have the same issue.

Do you have any more detail on what to look for when buying BT headphones? Which BT chips to avoid?
Thanks.

Le Max 2 Audio problem

Hello everyone,
since a few days i'm facing some audio problems.
It seems like my audio sometimes plays in slow motion when i'm playing games or hear music. Its only when I'm using the phones speakers, otherwise its completely normal.
Anyone has a solution? Using Pure Nexus Project right now.

Bluetooth Latency

Just got my S9+ and have noticed that all my Bluetooth headsets have a lag. It is fine for just audio but I hate watching a video and the words and lips are not in sync. I have tried multiple wireless headsets, the only headsets that are in sync are my JBL True Wireless. I was really hoping my Zolo Liberty Plus would be good but they are off as well.
I tried picking a new Bluetooth codec in developer settings but the change won't stick. Does anyone know a way to fix this, I don't want to spend more money on a new headset. I am coming from iOS and love the Android experience but all my headsets worked fine on iOS.
not sure but i just tried and my $20 wireless bt off amazon were in sync while watching youtube

Make sure your headsets support aptX. aptX HD is much better but S9+ doesn't support it for unknown reasons. It has Samsung HD instead.

Bluetooth Clipping / Crackeling Issue on S21 (JBL Overear Headset) (T500BT)

HI guys
Hope you all are well. Need some help and or guidence, this clipping is driving me crazy LOL
When paired up to my S21, the headset produces massive clipping and static, it only happens sometimes, but not always. I have also identified, if the headset is powered on while my XBOX controller is on and connected aswell, i cannot use the headset at all (Makes loud crackeling noises) Apart from that, i still have it happening at strange intervals, and cannot pinpoint the issue.
I at a time thought it might be my Galaxy watch 3, which i unpaired for a day or 2 to test. It went well for a few hours and started again?? I also uise a BT keyboard, BT Mouse at different intervals. Tried process of elimination, still there
I also had this with my S10e. So im not sure if its BT devices clashing with each other, or is it the BT versions clashing.
Did anyone else experience this? (I searched the web, but most of the articles are basic things like check Reception, range etc etc)
Thanks for the advice!

Hi! I know only 1 case with this problem: your bluetooth headphones are connected to several devices and do not have the Multipoint function. The conflict may be with Galaxy Watch 3, because Watch 3 has an audio profile in S21, but you wrote that you turned off Watch 3.
Thanks alot. I found the cuplrit. It was my logitec BT Keyboard. It was always on, on the background. And caused interference. Since i switched it off (When not using) I dont have the clipping anymore hehe
